Took my vehicle to them for a warning light. They attempted to figure it out without success. It cost $778 and the light is still on. Previously they didn’t a good job changing brakes on a different vehicle.

☆Update to original review☆ BUYER BEWARE I was told that I should probably get new engine until German Dreams impressed me with being able to tear down and check out, however after purchasing more time and parts they bid $14,000 to put in new engine, after I spent $3200 of which none would go toward new engines installation. Also my car still is not repaired or running, I told them I'd send a tow truck but they were waiting on a part. I said why are we putting parts into a non running car? When I returned they did give me a refund and total for diagnoses and whatever they did cost me approximately $1,200 to tow my car back out. This would not keep me from choosing this shop it's just a sad sad day the gli died. Excellent service and communication!

Been coming to German Dreams for a few years now. I think its important to find a dealer you trust, especially if your car is modified and not stock. German Dreams is that partner for me. If I have an issue, I drop it off and I know when I pick it up, it'll be addressed and my car will be safe and operating optimally. If you're looking for the lowest cost provider, this is not your shop. If you're looking for a no nonsense Audi shop that you can trust, look no further. I highly recommend them. I have recommended them to my family and friends. Good mechanic shops that you can trust are becoming harder and harder to find. I even drove 1400 miles from Montana to get thousands of dollars of work done. Zero complaints... Hit them up.

I’m a firm believer in you pay for what you get and your never gonna be dispappointed with the German dreams team had to bring my 2016 gti s in recently as it was leaking coolant everywhere writhing 2 days they had me back in the road

George is the owner and I'm very happy with the advise and eventually the work his team provided. I don't have a German car. My wife's car is a 2016 Buick Regal w/Turbo. They got it in, got the repairs done and now my wife is happy. Happy wife = happy life so I'm glad I took a chance having German Dreams Performance repair our American car. Turn around time was faster in and out than Buick or Chevy even would give me to bring my car in. Better price too. I did pop the hood to see if they dropped a German Dreams Performance sticker on the engine but unfortunately not. 😂

I called for my bmw running to lean talked to Jack he was very informative and friendly on the issue and test they would have to perform. Scheduled my appoint dropped it off all the techs were friendly and very knowledgeable. They found the promblem quickly but had to order the part so it did take a few days but they did send updates pictures and videos of the issues. I had a great experience with German dreams and will definitely be going back for a future fixes

DO NOT COME HERE ! These guys are scammers. I came here so they can fix my head light for my audi. So what they did was they left my car outside with the window down and it was raining till I had drove by later that day and seen it and had to tell them to roll up my window. Why was my widow rolled down? Idk I had them rolled up when I tuned in my car. Then after that they charged me 297 to replace a low beam and high beam bulb. So when I pick up my car there was a new light on my dash that had to do with the light. UT I was just happy my headlight were working so I disregard it. Then I park at home. And it stayed parked for about 4 days till my gf turned it on and told me the light on one side wasn't working again. So now I took it back to them. Let them know about the situation and the new light on the dash. So they said the new bulbs then installed were burned due to a bad ballest. So I told them if I brought you guys my car to find out why my lights weren't working why didn't u look into the ballast on the first place. So what they did next was scratch there heads and huddled up to find out the answer. And said they will use that problem I just confronted them about it in a training day for new hires. I said okay well how does that help me my light is still broken and I'm $290 something in the hole. Then they told me it will be another 300 to replace the bulbs they just replaced that burned because they didn't look into the main problem that caused it in the first place then at that they quoted me another $1,200 to replace the ballast also. And suggested I replace both ballast. And at that I had showed up with one light not working and while it was at there shop my second light wasn't working so then I told them . So I come here with one light not working and I'm leaving with both lights not working and another $300 in hole. And they all kept there heads down and no one wanted to look me in the eye. So I paid the 300 again. And left. So I found the parts I needed on rock auto. Both ballast for $137 each. Then I took it to my old machanic down the street from these guys who quoted me $120 to replace both. So when he replaced them he said I only needed to change 1 ballast not both. And he gave me the other ballast and said he doesn't know why german dreams would tell me I needed 2 new ballast. And over all I ended up paying my machanic $45 so do the math it only cost me $182 and that's with labor compared to German dreams charging me $600 that didn't fix the problem then quoting me another $1200. And my lights work perfect now. GERMAN DREAMS ARE THIEVES! DONT COME HERE!!

Geez where is the 10th Star? If you’re looking for a mechanic who is honest, reliable, communicative and does quality work for a fair and price and also in a timely manner this is your shop! With years of knowledge and business experience they have what it takes to do the job right the first time. They work on a myriad of different types of cars but are genius on VW’s but I also take my Jeep here. Why look around when you’ve found your way to the best. Thanks German Dreams!

On our way home from Baja, our sprinter lost power on hills. We changed our route and headed downhill to Bakersfield. We found German Dreams, they got us in and spent a full day diagnosing and curing the problem with our turbo boost. George and his team were great! They worked the problem thoroughly and got us back on the road. Highly recommended.

I’ve been servicing my car(s) at this shop for years and the team - especially the tech named Scott - is just phenomenal; the work has always been timely and efficient, and I think the prices are very reasonable considering the expertise of the staff. Plus, the staff really do all they can to get you the best deal/make servicing your car as easy as they possibly can.

These guys are amazing. I have been going here for a couple years now and will drive 50 miles to get here vs a local garage down the street. They work on both my diesels: my 2004 VW Jetta TDI (turbo diesel) as well as my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L (turbo diesel). Try finding a garage who will quote you a much higher number for work that may be required (due to what the vehicle is doing) but only charge you for work your vehicle actually needed (which is usually much lower). I TRUST these guys. You should too. Before I knew these guys I took my truck to the Cummins dealer to have them find a solution to my truck not starting ehen warm (cost me $600 in diagnostics and they still couldn't fix it) but it took these guys less than $200 to find and fix the fuel filter problem. Obviously I'm not helping myself by writing a positive review - they'll get busier and have less time for me, but I'd be lying if I said I'd consider going anywhere else. Take my advice or not, they've got my business.
