Berk and his staff do an excellent job of maintaining/servicing my 2016 BMW. They have earned my trust 100% - reasonable, efficient, polite, friendly - treated with respect! It’s the only place I will let service my car especially after a horrible experience with one of those “quick” oil change places. GCS does what they say….”specialize in German cars”.

I am so glad I was told about Berk and German Car Specialists! I heard about them from fellow Porsche enthusiasts Who also had a great experience with them. They repaired my convertible top and passenger window regulator for half the cost of the dealership. They also saved me a lot of money with my oil change. I will continue to use them for all of my Porsche needs.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else locally to touch my S4. German car specialists are absolutely fantastic. All work is done accurately and in a timely manner. If you have an Audi or BMW and need maintenance, do not hesitate to come in and get estimate!! if you are out of warranty, the dealer will absolutely destroy you, these folks know their stuff and price all work very fairly.

I have been using German car Specialists for a couple times now and they have always done an awesome job on my BMW X3. They use genuine parts and their work is really neat. Glad I found them in San Antonio. Berk & Team are so knowledgeable and they respect your time very much. No wait times, they diagnose it so quickly and give you a quote of what needs to be done. They definitely are cost efficient when compared to the dealer and the other chain stores. Highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Berk and his team at German Car Specialists! I have a 2003 BMW X5 and it developed an oil leak, needed a front axel replaced and new brakes on both the front and back. I live in Blanco (50 minutes north of San Antonio) and there is not a local mechanic for BMW's. I called a service facility in Boerne (closest) but the 1st appointment was 2 weeks out. When I called Berk, he said to bring it down the next morning and he would take a look at it and advise me on repairs. Nice! After I left it at his shop he kept in constant contact with me via texts and emails updating me on the entire repair process which included pictures and detailed repair recommendations. The work was completed in less than 2 days and the price was reasonable and fair. The car drives great and I am 100% pleased with my experience! I highly recommend Berk and the Team at German Car Specialists if you want quality service, at a fair price, and finished in a reasonable time. I brought my M car in for a suspension issue that they fixed first time, on time, without an issue. Additionally, they found a leak in my cooling system that would have been catastrophic if I had let it go saving me a major repair bill. I am a car guy that has driven BMW M cars for over 20 years and German Car Specialists are one of the best maintenance teams I have experienced. Having just moved to San Antonio I can unequifically state our two BMWs will only be going to German Car Specialists in the future for all maintenance, they are truly that good!

We all know the dealers scam you in pricing, but not here. Extremely nice and helpful. I had taken my Audi to another shop but they were charging Dealer prices and they weren’t even going to do the proper work, AND I PAID THEM TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC. If you have a vehicle they can work on, bring it here.

I have used German Car Specialists for quite a few years for a variety of BMW's and they have always done great work, on time, and at a fair price considering the quality of the work. Another nice thing is that if you have purchased performance parts for your German car, they will do a great job installing them, whereas the dealer will not.

Berk and his expert team of specialists took great care of our Porsche Macan S and provided excellent customer service. I have been going to German Car Specialists for all our Porsche service needs for 4 years, and they consistently do great work. Recently the vehicle needed more extensive work due to an oil leak, and they diagnosed and repaired it in a timely manner. He also graciously worked with our extended warranty company for payment. Berk always provides expert, detailed descriptions of the work and is available to advise on all vehicle issues. We will continue to rely on German Car Specialists!

I have a 2013 BMW Z4 28i with the turbocharged 4 cylinder N20 engine at 79,000 miles. It was making a whining noise and a check engine light on, I knew it was going to need significant repairs. I looked around and found German Car Specialists and decided to give them a try instead of the dealer. I love my Z4 and plan on keeping it a long time and wanted any repairs to be done right and at a reasonable cost. From the very first call I could tell they were BMW experts and customer focused, willing to answer and discuss all of my questions. It turned out I needed a new intake manifold, not such a simple job on the N20, and then they discovered my timing chain was very loose and it needed to be replaced as well, a common issue on the N20, and also not a simple job. Berk and Mark kept me informed as they did the work, sending progress pictures and showing me the engine codes and explained what they were doing and why all along the way. They did a great job, my Z4 is running better than it ever has! And considering the complexity of the job and parts they did it a reasonable cost. I highly recommend!

I never write reviews, however I felt one was warranted in this situation based on the great experience I had. I took my wife's Audi to the dealership for an annual service (previously I had exclusively taken it to the dealership as this is what I've always done with my Fords). I was told there was a leak that needed to be fixed but wanted to get a second opinion due to the high (in my opinion) price that they were estimating. I found German Car Specialists on google and was able to make an appointment within a week. They able to get me in, fix the issue, and charged an extremely reasonable price. Bonus, their messaging/estimate system they used through text was great and made the process so much easier as it eliminated the need to call to follow up (which is always inconvenient while at work). This was probably the best car repair experience I have ever had on any vehicle I've owned. I will definitely be back next year for our service!

I brought my A6 in running rough and with an oil leak. The guys were fantastic with timely and clear communication and got me back on the road the same day running perfectly! I cannot recommend these guys highly enough
