I went to German Auto Services on Palm River Road I had the worst experience not only the experience were terrible the owner Mike charged me for a service I didn't receive. His helper was rude and disrespectful. I went in for an oil change Mike the owner was trying to up sale me on things I didn't need . As I watched his helper attempt to change my oil the helper NEVER changed the oil so I ask his helper about it and he began to curse my out. The sad thing about it Mike was in on the scam I'm not sure if it was because I'm bronze color or I'm a woman I don't recconmended broze color people to go here especially women

Mike offers a reasonable price for his services and is a master of his craft in addition to being a great man. He went above and beyond to help me ask the right questions when dealing with the dealership. I have nothing but nice things to say about my service at German Auto Service, if you have a German car you should absolutely take it to him first for any repairs.

My air shocks went bad on right side of my mercedes. The front right was replaced . Both should have been replaced, However 6 days later the rear right goes down? Why weren't both replaced on the initial visit? 6 days later have to pay for the rear plus labor again. Very disappointed.

Affordable rates, fast service and precision service from knowledge and experience. I had called in the morning around 11am and asked if they could replace my engine mounts and he said "bring me the car now and I'll have it to you by 6pm" so I did and Mike delivered on his promise. This is a great shop. I'm fairly knowledgeable on BMW, so when you bring in your BMW or whatever car, and you start speaking the language of mechanics talking about "guibo" and "flex shaft" understandably with Mike, then you can trust you found someone who knows what they're talking about. You can tell when you arrive at the shop that this is two guys who just love fixing German cars.

I had my 2017 VW GTI go into limp mode on me once and Mike fixed it right up and charged me very fair prices (little labor cost). Next week my car had an additional issue due to a previous mechanics repair on a completely separate area, but I had my car towed to the shop once again and Mike was there with me after 10PM to make sure he diagnosed the issue and put me at ease. Car is now working better than it ever has. Go to mike if you want an honest, affordable, and knowledgeable mechanic service!!!

I have found only one master German auto mechanic in Tampa. Sure, I could say something nice about the local Volkswagen dealer, ie Reeves Volkswagen. But sadly, Reeves is no more. You may have a newer VW than mine, but even so, if yours is 20years old, like mine, and you are the conservator of it, as I am, and care to keep it another 10years; whom can you trust to help you, in Tampa? I will honestly answer. Mike, the owner of German Auto Service! Love your car? Keep your car? Trust Mike! No feelings about your car? Don’t bother Mike, just take it to PepBoys. (No offense to PepBoys.)

If you drive any German vehicle you should be taking it here for maintenance. Mike was efficient, honest, and took his time to make sure everything was done correctly. He is everything you look for in a mechanic, I personally would not bring my car anywhere else besides this shop. 10/10.

The best at what he does!!!! MIKE you, the man, i have a 1987 vw jetta gl had in a shop on fletcher some mario bro. Looking fool was there for a minute, two 2yrs i was done, took here to Mike owner, and German mechanic had me set up is just a few days running and happy!!!

Battery on my VW Beetle died. Mike replaced it for me in a couple hours and it only took that long because he had to go get one. Had my car back the same evening even though it was past his posted shop hours and runs great. Definitely will be going back for future service.

He’s from Germany 🇩🇪 What else needs to be said. ? Other than the fact he’s has most integrity of any mechanic that I have ever used. !!! If you have a Volkswagen, BMW or Mercedes support your local Mechanic South Tampa….!!! Trust me you’re not gonna find a better one!!!!

I am so glad I found this place. Mike was awesome! Very honest, and knows what he's doing! Very good pricing. If you have a German made car, Mike is only mechanic you should let fix it. I personally will not be going to anyone else in the future!

I have lived in many states over the years and Mike is the most solid mechanic I have met. He is honest and upfront. Service is top notch and efficient. He is the only person in the Tampa Bay area I trust with my vehicle. If you have a German automobile, Mike is the only person in Tampa who should work on it. I have worked with Mike several times, and highly recommend him. Fair prices, quick turnaround, and a straight-forward approach to diagnosing and repairing my vehicle. Mike has fixed 2 issues with my car that were created by other mechanics. My experience with Mike has been much better than with the dealership.

Mike did an excellent job on my M4. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. Took 30 minutes to do the work others quoted an hour for. Most importantly, he was careful and gentle with the car.

I took my BMW 5-series in for a variety of engine issues that three other mechanics quoted me between $400-$650 to take care of. Mike fixed all my issues and charged me $100. I couldnt believe how quickly he got everything done. I've found my mechanic, my husband and I won't be going anywhere else for help 10/10 would highly recommend :)

Mike is amazing! I used to take my BMW 325i and now take my VW Jetta GLI, so I’ve been going to him for a few years. He’s super knowledgeable and has always taken the time to explain exactly what he’s doing, going so far as to show the damage in the part he replaced. He’s very fair and I know my car is in good hands. He also manages to finish up early!

Mike provided a quick quote and got the work done on time. New brakes at a fair price, unlike the competitors or dealership. In addition, my vehicle dashboard was calling for a specific maintenance (A7) which would include an oil change and transmission fluid change. Mike was honest with me that the transmission fluid change isn't needed yet per the mileage on the car. It is great to work with a mechanic that charges fair prices and is dependable and honest.
