Gerber just fixed my Jeep Cherokee after being rear ended a while back. Gerber was great to work with and the process was pretty seamless. There were some parts quality issues that were totally out of their control but they kept me in the loop and took care of the issue. We just picked up the Jeep and it looks great, thanks to everyone at Gerber and hopefully I will be accident free but if something ever happens again I will be back to Gerber in Portage!!

First things first, Chase, their painter, did a phenomenal job on my car! It has one of the most difficult paint colors there is to paint (to the point some painters refuse to attempt it), and he absolutely nailed it. He is truly talented. The shop itself is great too. My car sat at another shop for 2 months before it was transferred here. They got it completed in under 2 WEEKS. On top of that, Rod came out to talk to us personally about any concerns we had and put our fears at ease. They did an incredible job fixing it despite how damaged the front end was, and my car now runs great. Keep up the awesome work and the wonderful customer service!

Our vehicles and home was recently damaged by the tornado on May 7 of 2024. Needless to say life has been pretty chaotic since then. I Brought both vehicles to Gerber collision for repairs. The staff, both in the office and in the back were phenomenal! I couldn’t be happier with the service and quality of work that I received. Thank you so much for taking great care of us!

They went above and beyond and truly cared about my truck. The customer service and communication is top notch, not to mention their quick turn around times. I would recommend anyone getting work done through this location.

I attempted to use this shop for deer collision repair (insurance claim). It started out fine, but ended with us taking the vehicle to another repair facility due to an excessive supplemental repair report they filed. Followed by "I never wanted to fix this car to begin with." Then charged me $500 as a "tear down" fee that had to be paid before I could collect my vehicle and transport to another local facility. I will NEVER give them my business in the future, nor recommend this chain to anyone I know.

When I first indicated with this company, Rod I believe was his name was very helpful on helping me get a quote on my vehicle for damages. He had great customer service and was very quick about what I needed right away. I would recommend this business for anyone who is looking for great service, knowledge, and overall a great business for the community!
