My wife was in an accident and we only had a couple of options through insurance with Gerber being one of them so we went here. They said repairs would take two months. They then keep pushing the date further and further out usually the day before or more often on the day of. This happen 4-5 times. We were supposed to pick the car up in December of 2022 and we’re not able to pick it up until the middle of February 2023 due to the delays. The lack of courtesy to call us the day of, usually an hour before we were planning to pick the vehicle up and tell us that it would be a couple of more weeks is appalling customer service. Honestly, this business is so bad I was tempted to open my own car repair/body work business next door. If this company can be in business, literally anyone can be in business. The only reason I am not leaving one star is that the repairs did look good with the exception to minimal damage left to the trunk and the struts for the hood being worn out due to replacing it with a used hood. If you enjoy poor customer service, delays, and being frustrated after already experiencing a frustrating event (an accident), this is the place for you. Also, if you ever thought about opening a business, do it! Like I said, if these guys can be in business nowadays, anyone can.

Gerber Collision did a great job on my recent car repair. The online estimate was so easy to do, Jeff and Anna were so professional, and I received great customer service updates during the whole process. My car was repaired quickly and looks brand new!

Well, I had a 2017 BMW X5, in mint condition until I blew a tire in I-26 in Columbia, SC. Had it towed to Gerber/Atlas Road and the magic began. They did, as usual, a remarkable job in repairing and painting my right front bumper and checked the vehicle for front end alignment. They have completed numerous repairs, with excellent body and paint work, that have been the result of two rear end collisions and four separate road debris attacks to my front end. Thank you Anna, Jeff, Scott, Jad(Hope I got that one right) and my go to, get it done, Amanda! Unfortunately, it was involved in a total loss accident on 6/8/24 and is in X5 heaven!!! If I can say they are good, as OCD and particular as I am, then I trust they will do the same for you!!! One picture that I like-a 50,000+ at the time, immaculate X5, since deceased! Oh, do I miss this one! But replaced it with this one. Thanks guys and gals for your hard work!!!

Omg, these guys are simply AMAZING. I had a break in and attempted stealing of my Kia while in town from Charleston visiting my best friend. Luckily, the bandit didn’t succeed in stealing my car, but did substantial damage and left my car un-drivable. I had it towed here, and had to return back to Charleston for work. They made this experience soooo much more tolerable. I was afraid that my being out of town would make things near impossible, but Aaron was in constant contact with me about the status of my car. Amanda made signing all of the forms a breeze, and I was able to sign them and return them virtually while at work. They did amazing work and gave my car back in better condition than it was before the incident. I can’t remember the name of the amazing lady that helped me today when I picked up my vehicle, but she and Jeff were awesome. I can’t say enough great things about this team.

I want to start by saying, I normally do not do reviews, but the service provider at Geber deserved the time for a glowing review. Unfortunately, my brand new vehicle was involved in a collision and Geber Collison, fixed my car to look brand new again. I cannot thank them enough. They even dealt with difficult out of state insurance to make sure I was taken care of. I cannot give them a more glowing recommendation. Every person I met and dealt with there was exceptionally nice and understanding. I hope I don’t need yall again, but if something happens, I know who will be my first call! - thank you thank you thank you!

Our car was hit in the parking lot of restaurant while we were eating. The man who hit it did come find us and give us his insurance information. We contacted Gerber collision and they got us in for repair, assisted with our rental car, and finished the job within a week. The repair looks amazing, they even went above and beyond by by removing a door ding on the opposite side of our vehicle for no additional charge! Scott Mims was the technician who did our repair and it looks as good as new! I can’t say enough about how pleased we are! I highly recommend this body shop, and Scott Mims is one of the absolute best body techs in Columbia. It’s not the first time he’s done repair work for me. Thank you Gerber, and thank you Mr. Mims. If we ever need another repair we are coming straight to you!

I stopped by to get an estimate on a small dent on on my truck. I was informed by the lady up front that I needed an appointment to get an estimate. She said yep...it's the rules. So I said you can't walk 40ft to look at this dent while I'm here so I do not have to come back. She said , yep. So I said I'll go somewhere else. Thanks. As a business owner my self, I do not understand how people can turn away business. Good luck to ya.

They did a fantastic job on my frontend! And when we showed up to pick it up we noticed a small issue with a wheel trim but they took it back to the back and had it fixed before we left. Thanks Gerber for everything and hopefully you get some staff to help alleviate backups.

Don't use this location! We waited for a month to schedule, and they rescheduled us. Today, they just called me to reschedule again. They said this(rescheduling) is not going to happen again last time they rescheduled me, and they did the same thing again. One day before! I already arranged my ride and rental car. It's been more than two month now. This is ridiculous! I can't trust their words any more. I wasted my time just for waiting.

Horrible service- on my Lexus GX 460. I had used them in the past when it was John Harris and everything went well. However , my experience this time was HORRIBLE!! From the beginning there was NO COMMUNICATION- I had to keep calling to check on my vehicle. Then there were conflicting reports on my vehicle , as to what needed & didn’t need to be done to it, depending on the person you spoke to that day. When I finally got my vehicle back - it was rattling , making horrible noses when I drove it - & when I looked at the repairs it has been “patched up” as well as there was yellow glue left all over my white car- looked like someone had it on their hands and fingers and left it several places on my doors etc. also the inside of my car had scuff marks on the seats etc that was not there. I took my car straight to another body shop for a second opinion and gave them the list of what gerber had supposedly done and 1/2 of the things were not done. And there were TONS of other things that should have been done that were not done - Then when gerber found out I had taken my car else where they called and asked if they could make an appt to get my car back for things that they “didn’t get to do the first time” My answer was H NO!!!! I will NOT use GERBER ever again

My experience was great I love how I kept getting updates on what was going on and how long it was going to take and every week I was promised an update and I received it when I first called Gerber on Atlas Road I spoke to this very nice young man and I found out that he was the supervisor of gerbert on Atlas road but he was very nice then the next day I spoke to miss Laura and Miss Laura became my contact at the end I spoke to another supervisor I can't remember her name but she was very nice as well so my experience over all deserve a hundred and 10% even liar I would recommend anybody to go to guerbet on Atlas Road and I love the customer service thank you gerbert
