Gasgo auto repair & state inspection

I had my 2013 Kia Sorento towed to Gasgo Auto and spoke with Humberto. He said "let me check it out and I'll call ya with what repairs need to be made and a quote". Within 24 hrs I was contacted by Gasgo and they told me the oil return gasket was blown so to fix it they quoted me somewhere around $670. I believe and I immediately told him yes I have the money go ahead and do the repairs. The next day Gasgo called me and said "the oil lights still on but we think ya just need an oil change which cost somewhere around $60. or so I agreed and told them to do the oil change. So Within a few hours they called again and said my Kia was ready to pick up yet wen I arrived my oil light was STILL on! I asked the owner Humberto, what do I do? He told me if I drived it for 50 miles it should reset. Well Within 20 minutes of leaving Gasgo my engine blew a rod threw the block. Which means a BLOWN engine in a car that has been well takin' care of and has less than 120,000 miles. We had zero problems until the oil return gasket went out. I just can't wrap my head around him telling me to drive it w both the engine light and oil light on! It blows my mind. The whole reason I drove it was because he told me to and I trusted him! Anywho there's a little more to the story but that's all about me telling him I wanted to leave w a fixed car and my new inspection sticker! Instead I've lost my car dang near lost my job! It just sucks all the way around.

Needed to get state inspection done and the place I usually go wasn't able to this week. So I called Gasgo and they said they could after one that afternoon. I got there just after one, and had my inspection done in about fifteen minutes. :: convenient, quick service, great price, clean and comfortable waiting area and friendly employees. ::

I recommend this place, they provide excellent customer service, low priced inspection for as little as $25 dollars, no hidden fees. Not to mention how polite people are! They also have a waiting area with refreshments!

This place was easy to find on Highway 67 South. They have free coffee or water while you wait, and they speak English and Spanish. I didn't have to wait long for my state inspection, and it was very affordable ($25). I would recommend this establishment.

I absolutely love this mechanic shop! Honest work, reasonably priced, quality performance. I've ever been over charged, or walked away feeling anything other than happily satisfied with my mechanic. My dad recommended him to me years ago when I lived in Richardson and I've never gone anywhere else since. Thank you Gasco for having outstanding work ethics and integrity!
