Gary has always been top-notch. I take all my vehicles to him. He is reasonable and only fixes what's broken. Doesn't suggest a bunch of other stuff you don't need. As long as Gary is in business, he will have mine.

Has non certified mechanics. Individuals are using drugs and drinking on work site. Very unprofessional. DO NOT let the guy with all the tattoos service your car. He is a crack addict and has current Felony warrants.

Got me for an extra 50 at the drop when quoted 98 on the phone you can get any tow company in Columbus to haul your car 5 miles for 90$ made me pay 145, made an appointment and they didn't even remember until I called asking where the truck was, pulled the bait and switch on me, I get cars towed EVERY DAY, I'm a mobile mechanic, John the car doctor, hmu for GOOD QUALITY SERVICE and the price don't change even if the tow company screws me....

This is the first shop I have ever been to that DIDN'T try to overcharge or add extra un-requested services. My impala was saying low oil pressure stop engine and no other shops wanted to even look at it, saying it more than likely was something serious and would cost upwards of 2000$, and wanted to charge 165$ just to diagnose. I called Gary who was very friendly on the phone and got me in within 2 days. He came to the conclusion the sending unit had came unplugged and had it fixed in no time at all! He easily could have said he had to replace the whole unit and charged me for labor etc but instead charged me 50$ (even after I had a few other things done) but he was honest and wouldnt even take the 100$ I tried to give him because I felt he deserved it. This is my new permanent mechanic. Thanks Gary! You're awesome👌

Went in right after he opened this morning, got my car in right away, and towed it for me. Kept me updated on other issues he found. It only took a few hours. Great pricing! Great staff! Thank you Gary!

Gary is a great mechanic and one of the few honest ones left. I lived in Columbus for 7 years and I drove older cars that needed a decent amount of maintenance and repairs. Gary took great care of them every time I brought them in. I wish every mechanic was like that.

I called to see if I could get my vehicle looked at and was told that I should get my car done somewhere else because they tend not to work on cars that leak oil.......I thought that was what mechanics do was fix cars that can leak oil I'm very frustrated with this place.

I was really shocked by the service and how honest and upfront Gary was with me. And didn't even charge me for just looking at my car to tell me what was wrong with it. I'm going to recommend him to all my friends and family members that needs their car worked on.

So I was cautious using a mechanic other than my normal guy but he was booked. Very glad I chose Gary. 1st I called and he told me he had cars that needed immediate attention so he couldn't take mine as my jeep just needed minor work. I actually liked this as he could have easily taken my car and made a quick buck by skipping others but he put them 1st. So I called the following week. Dropped off car just before closing. 9 am calls me with a quote which was substantially lower than what I was thinking it would be. By early next day work was done. Went to get car and my other car wouldn't start. Gary offered me a tow (jumped it though). Next day got the call and the frame is rusted not worth fixing. Not his fault. He didn't even charge me for the diagnostic and kept it for an extra day as I had work. All work done on my jeep seems very good and I am very happy with it. Would definitely recommend Gary's Auto Service. I will definitely be back in the future. Sorry for the lengthy review
