my car just got brought in today and they will have the part today and it will be fixed tomorrow granted it's a broken control arm so it's not super difficult but they have great customer service and friendly nice people working at the shop, I highly recommend them for your mechanical needs

Honest auto care, which is so hard to find!! I never feel any pressure to get any work done. They just give me the facts and reasonable cost estimates to get work done. They are also great at explaining things and answering my questions. I drive 45 minutes now still to get my oil changed with them because they have earned my trust.

The team at Gary’s provided amazing customer service and was very communicative with the work that was being performed, all while me not being there. I had to work that day and had my car dropped by a tow truck. I called in periodically to check in and the team was very warm and friendly with explaining everything that was happening to my vehicle. Picked it up at the end of the day easy peasy.

I had a great experience at Garys. I failed deq and they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly. It was a painless, speedy, and inexpensive experience. I typically get anxiety with car issues and this was a very positive experience. I live on the other side of town, but it was worth the trek. Thanks guys!

I’ve been going to Gary’s for almost 10 years and have always received the highest quality service. Every person I interact with is knowledgable, helpful, and kind and Gary’s has diagnosed some very challenging issues on my vehicles and always provides honest opinions about whether preventative work is necessary or not. They’re my go-to shop in Portland!

My housemates and I started going to Gary’s when it was the closest shop to our house. We consistent get friendly and outstanding service, we always feel like the staff are looking out for us, and we’ve never felt pushed into anything we weren’t ready for. I now live across town but I still consider Gary’s my auto shop!

Service seemed to be thorough, however, it took two hours to mount and balance four tires. Granted, they had to chase a thread, but it was still excessive. The price wasn't terrible for the amount of time they spent ($170 including a new lug set [only asked for one, though. Didn't actually check to ensure I received all five.]) If you think you might have any special concerns, might be worth addressing them yourself before coming in. Would probably come back for simply tires in the future.

Gary's is a little diamond in the rough! Recommended to me by a friend, I wouldn't have found them otherwise, but they were exactly what I wanted. They diagnosed and fixed my problem the next day after I stopped in. My 2016 car was suddenly running really! rough on the highway and I thought the worst, but Gary's fixed me up with new spark plugs at a reasonable price and also took care of a few other little things while I was in there. Compare that to your dealer service. Running like a top again. Thanks, Gary's!

Gary’s was suggested to me by a friend and I was so pleased with my experience! I dropped my car off right before closing on a Tuesday and Logan had it fixed up and back to me by lunchtime Thursday. This was an unexpected car problem which can be stressful but the experience was fantastic. I work nearby and will be suggesting them to all my co-workers! I’m so thankful I found this shop.

I feel positive about my experience with Gary's Auto . I feel like they do a good job and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I have been to shops that I felt like I had been taken advantage of because the problem was still there.

I had a flat tire and AAA recommended Gary’s so I had the tow truck driver take me there. They were super nice and helpful. They had my tire replacement at their warehouse and were able to pick it up reasonably quickly and get me back on the road as fast as possible. I really appreciate them making me their priority. They seem very efficient and professional.

It's one of the worst feelings: experiencing car trouble on a long road trip. Not only is it stressful, but one is at the mercy of whichever car repair place is willing to do emergency repairs on top of their already busy schedule. We had been limping our way north for a few days, so we were a bit worn out with the expense and tension of it all. I really appreciate the folks at Gary's. They were kind, compassionate, and honest. We were back on the road the next day for the final leg of our trip. Success! Thanks for taking care of us.
