I HAVE BEEN TAKING MY CAR TO GABS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. THEY ALWAYS DO GREAT WORK, ARE VERY HONEST, AND DO NOT REPAIR/REPLACE ANYTHING UNLESS THERE'S A NEED TO DO SO. PRIOR TO GOING TO GAB I HAD GONE THROUGH MANY MECHANICS DUE TO POOR/QUESTIONABLE QUALITY OF SERVICE. IT'S NICE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO SOMEONE THAT'S "WORRY FREE"!!!

Main reason I go to Gabs is because I can trust that the work is done correct the first time. They always check with me previous to any repairs for my input and questions. Mark & Justin provide great customer service. I would highly recommend GABS Auto.

I recently moved to north Phoenix and in need of a reliable, honest mechanic. I chose Gab’s based on a friend’s recommendation and online reviews. All I needed this visit was an oil change. I found it easy to get an appointment. The service technician was thorough and quite courteous and the pricing reasonable.

Super disappointed in this auto shop and their lack of accountability when knowingly installing faulty/defective parts. My husband and I had our brakes done at Gabs in Aug,2024 where we paid over $900 to have pads and rotors replaced. The price was excessive to us however, as long time customers we felt it we would be taken care of and the quality of parts would be excellent. Boy are we disappointed in that decision……Now here we are Jan,2025 not even a full 5 months later and just slightly over 22,000 miles and those same brake pads that were replaced are nearly shot! How do we pay $900+ and only get 5 months of driving?! The poorest quality of brake pads is what this place provided but charged me for the greatest quality. Talk about scammer mechanics. They do not honor warranty, they do not give you good quality parts they just want your money. The counter man needs to work on his professionalism and knowledge for the work done also if you have coupons online and are supposed to happily honor them, do not get pissy when your customer uses those coupons to help lower the extreme bill or make up reasons why they can’t be used on multiple repairs. Would not recommend this place unless you want to over pay for crap work and parts.

My mother and I had a great experience with Gab’s! We started by taking the Volvo to the dealer and after having a minor heart attack hearing how much work was required and the astronomical cost associated, I looked for an alternative and discovered Gab’s through a review on the Neighborhood app. I was always told most repair shops can’t work on Volvos as they are highly specialized…well that’s not true! Gab’s ASE certified technicians discovered something that the dealer missed, and they found something the dealer said needed to be completed that didn’t need to be done! They were able to complete all of the repairs at a significant discount off the dealer’s price as several parts failed all at the same time right after my warranty ran out (of course!). They also completed the repairs very quickly because they ordered the required parts after my first phone call, ahead of us bringing the Volvo in for service. With their professional, efficient, and diligent work, they were able to get the SUV back to us before the holidays! We are extremely grateful for their thoughtfulness as they kept us in the loop, their ASE certified technicians did a wonderful job with the repairs, and all repairs are warrantied for two years or 24,000 miles which was a nice surprise. You can trust them to be honest and upfront about what needs to be done. They have become my favorite shop, and we will be bringing all our trucks and cars to them in the future! Five stars all the way for a very smooth experience and quality repair job! Thank you Gab’s for helping my mom and I with your honest advice and kindness, while keeping us safe and back on the road! Very impressed! Their communication was clear, and I appreciated their honesty and integrity throughout diagnosis and repairs. Very refreshing to find a shop that values customer service and returning business. I greatly appreciated their efforts to make my repair costs as low as possible with my total being lower than the original quote. Their rewards program and referral discounts are also a great bonus. Definitely my go-to for future car service and will be referring to friends and family. Thank you to the staff at Gab’s!!

Gab's took on the difficult rear brake job for my 2021 Transit service van. Even with parts not on hand they made getting my business back to work a priority turning the job around in amazing time. Mark was very helpful keeping me informed every step of the way. All of this at an extremely reasonable price for the job at hand. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs. If you need help, go see Mark in the office. He knows his stuff and will give it to you straight. He has always been a straight shooter with all of the customers. Especially men and women. They service you right, and quick.

I believed I needed new belt(s) as I was hearing a high pitched squeal briefly and only when I started the car, but it would resolve rather quickly. Concerned, I called and got an appt for early the next day. The noise occurred when I started the car that AM, but couldn't be duplicated during my visit. The belt looked good to him, so the mechanic tightened it up and it doesn't squeal now. 🤞 The kindest part was that they didn't charge for that assessment/fix. Thank you so much!

My car brake lights wouldn't shut off. They were on all night & day.I was out of service from the dealer, so I was looking for a new mechanic. I tried Gab's because they had great reviews & it was close to home. They were very honest, got the job done in 1 day. Mind you, I took me till about lunch to get a charge on the dead battery. All in all, I now have a new mechanic. I was happy with everything. Their knowledge, customer service & price. Great place!!!

This is my go-to mechanic. When my car needs work I take it to Gab's. They take the time to ser what's going on and explain it to me in plain English. No BS, no surprises, no extra charges to bump up their quotas. I've been a client for 20 years. They take great care of their customers and are reasonably priced.

These people are very nice when you first meet them and tell them what you need until after they get your money then they will rip you and treat you as a nuisance to them like your bothering them don't let them do any work for you they will destroy your car and act like they fixed it and show you other things in which they did to your vehicle don't believe the rating it's a lie and a cover up for them to rip people off and make money they do not care about you or your vehicle your feelings don't matter it's not worth getting ripped off learn from me I payed for work that never got done correctly so I had to go elsewhere and spend more money just to get the job done and I'm still having problems since I've took my vehicle to them just walk away and go elsewhere... GOOD LUCK.

This shop is literally around the corner from my house took a chance and had my vehicle looked out for an AC repair. Dropped it off early in the morning. I had a call mid morning that it was completed. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly repairs were done effectively and efficiently and the price for the repair was very reasonable. All I can say is thank you!!!
