Professional, honest, and solid music choices. I had to get my vehicle towed and the driver recommended this place. Usually I shop around and read reviews but the vehicle breaking down had me on limited capacity. AND I’m so glad I ended up here. I’m a dude who knows little about cars(like reliable only oil and tire change) and I usually feel like when mechanics find that out they have an err of superiority I endure bc I need my vehicle fixed or serviced. None of that here. Not only were they chill, they were transparent about everything. I never doubted what they were telling me or charging me. The owner even went the extra mile to get me back on the road. I live far and he went to go get a part for my car close to closing. I live far, but I’ll be coming back. Highly recommend for an easy and fair experience!

I usually dread going to any mechanic because I don’t enjoy being talked down to and fear the possibility of being taken advantage of. Prior to G&D, I relied on my dealership for any and all repairs, including oil changes, and it always felt like my car had something severely wrong with it every. Single. Time. I went in. However, my experience with G&D was a breath of fresh air. Alex was kind and friendly, asked a lot of questions, was patient with me as I asked my own questions, and was informative and thorough throughout my experience. Aside from my one repair, I was pleasantly caught off guard with a full inspection report of my vehicle where Alex went over the report and even wrote down some notes for me. He finished by telling me it seems I take great care of my car, which really made my day (and my whole week, honestly) as I was otherwise convinced by my dealership, and I try really hard to make sure my vehicle(s) are well taken care of. I will definitely come back to G&D automotive. I appreciate you all creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere where I felt heard and didn’t feel taken advantage of. Thank you so much!

Came in last week when my battery light came on, needed a new alternator. Alex was very helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Work was completed quickly and without issue. 10/10 Will return.

Alex was great to work with. He quickly determined that our Pontiac Vibe had a transmission bearing going out. Although G&D couldn't do the work he was able to get it done elsewhere and made sure the work was done thoroughly and completely , which required much effort on his part. Although the time it took to get our car back was several weeks because of issues with the transmission repair shop, Alex spent a lot of time making sure things got corrected and the rebuild was completed properly. He even gave us an additional warranty on the transmission through his shop. I will happily continue to bring my vehicles to G&D for all the servicing.

I called G and D after getting quoted $1000 from the dealership for the replacement of a sensor on my truck. Alex was super helpful the throughout the whole process and answered any questions. Not only did he offer to do it for me for less than half the price of the dealership, but he also got me in only three days later and had it done in a few hours. They also did a full inspection for me and informed me on any upcoming services as well as quotes for those services. I would recommend G and D and I will be bringing my truck here for any future services.

We brought our 2008 Saturn Vue in to take care of an oil leak that was noticed by a local quick oil change service center. They were great at explaining what they found and what was necessary to fix the problem. They also took the car out for a test drive, just to make sure that the car was in good operating shape. In addition to fixing the oil leak, they noticed that another issue had developed that we all never expected. The oil pressure sensor also needed to be replaced. We absolutely loved their attention to detail and their expertise in all things related to making sure that the car was well maintained. We are very grateful for their service and for their pride and commitment to making sure that the car is properly serviced. G&D Automotive will certainly be our go-to place for all our automotive needs. We highly recommend them to anyone that needs their vehicle serviced. Thank you so very much! I had transmission problem with my F-150 and wish i took it to Aamco, he doesn’t want to warranty the work and shouldn’t be allowed to work on automobiles. I can’t figure out why there’s silicone onn the transfer case

I was referred by my FIL, a previous client. They worked on my Honda CRV 2008 when the engine was overheating while in idle back in August. At that point, I thought the car was done for. After diagnosing and repair my car lives on! They were professional, communication was great and proactive in their recommendations. I would recommend them based on customer service and pricing! I started having misfires on my truck and then took it to Northwest Jeep Chrysler and Dodge dealership. As they always had done, I paid for diagnosis and I got a call later and the person said: "let's start with your spark plugs, I think they are not that great". With spark plugs, they are either good or bad and I assumed they checked them. Not too long, I was told that the spark plugs have been replaced and the problem still exists. Now I am into it about $1300.00. Then he said he thinks it's the camshaft and I need to pay $300.00 for them to diagnose it. I gave the go ahead and within a considerable short amount of time, I was told it's been confirmed that the problem is the camshaft and that will cost close to $5000.00 to replace. I then was further advised that if the camshaft is replaced, there may be other problems and they believe that the ultimate fix may be to replace the whole engine which may cost upwards of $15,000.00. I did my research and decided that I will replace the engine but I would buy my own engine which they said they will not install my engine, and that I will have to buy an engine from them which will cost between $10,000.00 and $12,000.00. I then started looking for a place that will install my engine if I buy one, but didn't have good fortune in that. Then one day, whilst talking to my best friend about it, he suggested talking to his mechanic about it. His mechanic then referred him to D&G Automotive. I spoke to Alex from D&G Automotive over the phone, but he was skeptical. After showing him the website I was buying the engine from and letting him know the warranty it comes with, plus the additional warranty I was purchasing, he decided to tackle the job. I bought the engine and the engine got delivered. I have to say that, I was very skeptical having someone work on my vehicle I didn't know. So, as if in a discussion, I asked Alex stupid questions and he respectfully answered my questions whilst correcting me. I had a little bit of relief there whilst being still skeptical after my experience with the dealership. Then the engine got delivered and they went to work. After they were done, it was great driving my truck again with a peace of mind. In addition, the price for buying the engine and workmanship is also great. The engine costs $3999.00 and the additional warranty was just under $500.00 which is less than half of the cost of an engine through the dealership. In all, I am grateful I had all that bad luck, just to fall in the arms of G&D Automotive. I will always take my vehicles to them from now on and I will think them first before the dealership. There is a slim chance of going wrong if you bring your vehicle to them. Just give them a try. And lastly, they are honest.

Dropped my truck off to get a knocking noise diagnosed, they called me a week and half later and said I needed all six of my injectors replaced and it will cost $4300. I agreed thinking that’s what was causing the knock, they call me and say my trucks ready but say oh by the way we don’t accept debit or credit cards they also send me the invoice for $4600 $300 more than what was said. Had to go all around trying to figure out how to get the payment they accept which is cash, cashiers check, money order or business check. So finally get the payment and go to the shop, pay and get my keys I go out to my truck and instantly it starts knocking as soon as I start it. I go back in and tell them it’s still doing it so they come out and try to tell me I told them just to replace the injectors. Only reason I agreed to replace the injectors is they told me they were bad, so I try and explain to them when I brought my truck in I talked to one of the guys about the knocking and he told me it might be fuel knock and they’d get it fixed. Didn’t fix it, charged me $4600, and offered no solution to it not being fixed. Absolute terrible experience I wouldn’t recommend these guys to anyone. I’m out $4600 and a truck so that was a complete waste of time and money.

I took my 2001 bmw 325i for an issue with the back suspension because i hit a massive pot hole. the person working up front was very helpful and communicative, the turn around time took a while because some of the parts were coming from out of state but the guys in the back did a great job and its been working great for the last 6 months

Alex & David are exceptional . As a woman most mechanics will take advantage and tell you you need to do so much more to your vehicle than needed. They are honest and reliable . Had a grinding/squeaking coming from my belt and they diagnosed quickly and got back to me. Needed a new timing belt and water pump. Got the car repaired and back to me 4 days sooner than initially quoted!

Dropped my truck off to have my transfer case and front and rear diffs serviced, my spark plugs replaced and an induction and fuel system cleaning. And I called the next day and it was already done!
