Wow, the service and the hospitality at this place is outstanding! The two gentlemen that were at the front desk were the friendliest people I’ve ever met at any service stations! I was able to get a name of one and his name is Jack! My tires were low and they were happy to help me and then I was on my way! If you need any auto service and you’re in Frisco, please check them out! I highly recommend them!

***Attention Veterans *** I CAN NOT recommend this company.. We are donating a Jeep to a disabled Veteran.. The manager said they can donate a few items needed to repair the owner told .. When we brought the Jeep in the manager said the owner changed his mind and they will do nothing due to construction...No apologies or nothing for wasting our time.. There are better options nearby

Richard and his team truly values each customer, or how he refers them, as his friends. Jack and Bill also dabble in stand up, as they will greet you with a smile and a friendly joke or two. Come check them out, their quality is second to none. Any serious repairs need Frisco Automotive.

Bill was *amazing* to work with - down to earth, transparent, and honest. The first time I took my car in (for an intermittent issue), they took it in, looked the car over, but couldn't find the issue - and DIDN'T CHARGE ME because "if I can't provide value for you, then I don't think it's appropriate to charge you". WOW. Later, that issue (wonky electrical wiring connections) did present again, and they were able to find it ... and unearth a cover up job by Christian Bros.... and fix it for good. 10/10 Would Highly Recommend!

Only place I will now go to when I need my car serviced or worked on. The staff were professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They were able to get me in on short notice and were quick and efficient for what I needed to ensure I got out in a timely manner since I was in a rush. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place for it's customer service, expert advice and quality service. Every vehicle service we have had has always been fairly priced and reasonable. I went in today for my car inspection for registration and my vehicle was serviced quickly. If you are looking for an honest place, come check these guys out!;

I called and was told they could get me right in if I showed up within half an hour. I did so and then waited over an hour for them to even start. I got charged a diagnostic fee for an issue they couldn't fix after wasting most of my day.

I have an old Honda and I was getting my oil changed at Valvoline when they told me that they thought something was leaking out of my car. I didn't have any dash lights on but I figured I'd go get it looked at. They suggested Frisco Automotive. They looked at my car (cost about $90) and then told me that I was leaking power steering fluid and they would have to do all of these things and it would cost about $2500. Mind you, my car is maybe worth about $3,000. Google told me that even if I did need all these things done, it wouldn't be near that cost. I decided against it and took it to a different shop. They looked at my car and told me that all their mechanics checked it out and there was absolutely nothing leaking from my car. They said it was so clean, given it's usage and age, that they were surprised at how good it looked. It's been months now and my car is still fine. Be careful if you don't know that much about cars if you go here, they may try something similar.

I haven't even picked up my car yet, but WITHOUT A DOUBT, this place is a GEM. I started out by speaking with Bill and he has been nothing but a COMPLETE PRO from A to Z. I had thought I had a pretty bad transmission problem, but that wasn't the case. They diagnosed it as an issue with the valve cover gaskets and oil leaking into the cylinders. These guys are LEGIT. If you want to deal with real pros, take your vehicle here! Great job, Frisco A&T.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Frisco Automotive and Transmission that I just have to share! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Bill and Jack went above and beyond to make my visit as smooth as possible. After bringing my car in at 8 AM due to it overheating, I had a tight schedule with an interview at 3 PM. Bill even gave me a ride home so I wouldn’t have to wait at the shop while my car was being worked on. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really showcased their commitment to customer service. Throughout the day, Bill and Jack made every effort to ensure my car was ready before my interview. Their kindness and dedication were evident, and it truly felt like a small-town shop where everyone is treated like friends/family—something that's hard to find in the DFW area. I’ve been a customer at Frisco Automotive for over five years, and today’s experience reminded me why I keep coming back. I had an issue with my vehicle’s timing chain tensioner, and they quickly diagnosed and fixed it without charging me a thing! The team is always professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly honest. They are really reasonable with repair. Got oil leakage fixed in around 700 when caliber was costing fortune for it.

Absolutely incredible experience start to finish. The 2 men running this place are amazing! They are honest, friendly and made me feel like they were taking care of everything the way a helpful Dad would look out for their kids. These guys did an awesome job. Came to them for a second opinion expecting a possible engine rebuild. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, only one part needed replacing and had me back in the vehicle the next day and it runs great!

Very good experience! They have done work for me before about 2 or 3 years ago. This time I had a good amount of maintenance work that needed to be done. I dropped off my vehicle just before lunch time and they told me my car was ready by 9:30 THE NEXT MORNING! I was told that with my being a first responder (911 Police Dispatcher), they wanted to fast-track me and get me back on my set of wheels! They are very first-responder friendly! When I tell you my car is a 2013 ford focus hatch with almost 200k miles on it, this is the SMOOTHEST my car has driven; and that’s not including the fact I bought my car used in 2016! This place literally had my car feeing brand new. My total cost was around $2,200 which was lower than I expected for the list of things my car needed. I am fully aware there may be some people here whose experience may have been less than stellar, (I read the reviews) but MY personal experience here, now twice, has been great. Their communication with me was clear and speedy, and for me, I did not have any other problems come up or have the price increase during repair. They told me what was wrong with my car, they gave me a CLEAR breakdown and the cost they gave me was the price I paid. I like that they are even able to communicate with you breaking down everything via text message which is great for people like me that may not be able to immediately answer phone calls at work. Will bring my car to them again in the future if needed!

Wow! Found my new go to mechanic. These guys are so sweet. I came in when my check engine light came on and they had it fixed in an afternoon. They were very thorough in their explanation of everything and treated me with respect throughout the situation. They even fixed the door on my car completely for free! (Something the dealership quoted me at $1,300.) Highly recommend Frisco Automotive & Transmission!

I called Frisco Automotive on 7/15 about putting a lightbulb in my daughters Acura RSX and Jack answered the phone, he was very enthusiastic and fun to speak with, he advised me to bring in the car tomorrow morning on 7/16 (today) and he would get it done. The process to change out the low beam bulb was more complex than we thought. Michael whom was the mechanic to do the job, was very knowledgeable, he had to take the front fender off in order to get to the bulb because of where the battery is located (right in front of the bulb). Michael took his time and did not rush the process with that being said, I am a happy customer. I will be back to let these guys do some work on both of my cars. Thanks Jack & Michael for great customer service, I will be glad to refer you all to my family and friends. Job well done! Thanks again! 😊

He was able to get my car in (no appointment), find the problem and provide me with the solution in an extremely timely manner. He provided me with frequent updates regarding the status of my car - I felt in great hands the entire process!

So I had taken my daughter’s car to Take 5 for an oil change. Won’t do that again. Noticed oil stains on the concrete. Took it in to Frisco Automotive and Bill came to our rescue. He found the mistakes the other place and made and fixed them all up (loose filter, poorly installed bolt) and topped off the oil and noticed some bad lug nuts on one tire and got them fixed as well. Thanks to Bill and all the folks at Frisco Automotive.

I had Frisco Automotive replace the clutch in my 2004 Mustang. The replacement clutch turned out to be defective. When I returned the car Warren immediately took the car in and within a day had replaced the clutch and got me back on the road. The service was great! I highly recommend them.

My transmission went out, and I couldn’t afford to make the repairs. The next day I got a phone call from Warren and he introduced me to a lady who is selling her car for a price I could afford. Warren didn’t have to do that, but he showed kindness and really helped me out. The business has good people working there and I will be a loyal customer going forward. I highly recommend this business, I believe the people working here are honest and have integrity and I know for sure they will help people even if there is no financial incentive, which is very rare for car shops. Thank you very much, I received help when I really needed it.
