Nobody was at the service desk so after 10 minutes went to garage to get help. I came there for a buy 1 Nexen tire get 1 free deal they had sent out. It was $106 tire. However after all their charges my total came out to $294 lol. I tried to argue why it was so much and ended up just getting the road hazard taken off to make it $261. So even at buy 1 get 1 free it's still that much with even road hazard 🙄🤦🏾‍♂️🤬👎🏾. When you bring in your coupon or whatever deal, be sure to get the total price after the crazy charges before agreeing to the work done. Likely the hidden charges will make up for whatever they said was going to be free lol

This group used to be great, but their customer service has declined significantly. In December 2024, I had a poor experience after a brake and rotor job—hardware was missing. Despite reaching out to the shop directly and to the corporate office through phone and email, I’ve received no response. Very disappointing.

Free Service Tire on Kingston Pike earned our trust in 2022, and we have no intentions of ever going anywhere else as long as Travis is the manager there.Seth was the manager in the beginning then he brought Travis on board to replace him ( he was promoted to regional) which proved to be a very valuable hire. Travis is always kind, willing to explain an issue or work needed in a way we understand and is willing to physically show us the issue, if needed. They regularly maintain our 2021 Tahoe, 2017 Audi A8L, 2 (2007) 4Runners on a regular basis and we have never had an issue with any maintenance, repair or pricing. Today being Christmas Eve we had new brakes put on 1 of the 4 Runners, they were a little slow so Travis put 2 guys on the brakes and he himself replaced both fog lights to help us get out early, then he swept the bay. They are great people! Be kind to your mechanics!

I wish I could give a review of their services. I called to get an estimate and book an appointment. The automated system told me there was a 1 minute wait. After about 4 minutes, a human picked up just long enough to say, "Please hold," and put me back on hold. 4 minutes later, they hung up on me.

On Friday evening at about 5 pm, my old Toyota Corolla broke down in Knoxville when I was visiting my adult son. I was going to take it to a place that told me that they would get around to it on MONDAY and rent a car to get back to Nashville (where I live). However, the tow driver recommended we take it to the Free Service Tire location at 5602 Kingston Pike. He took it there, they looked at it early Saturday morning and called me and told me that it needed a new alternator and battery. About an hour later the car was ready for me to take it, and for less money that they thought. These folks SAVED MY ASS, and I can't say enough good things about them.

This location is so nice. They put our tires on and we’re very pleased. They have great customer service and are very accommodating with the oil changes entire rotations as well.

Had UT student go in for brake work. Travis checked it out and advised she was fine and didn’t need anything for a few more thousand miles. He topped off her oil, replaced a bulb and sent her on her way. Very much appreciated the care and attention.

I was visiting my daughter while away at college and her car needed repair. I made an appointment online on Sunday evening for Monday morning. I was immediately greeted when I walked in to the store. The gentleman at the counter was very polite, professional and helpful. After checking out the issue he provided me with a very reasonable quote for the repair. The waiting area was clean and free wifi was provided while I waited. My car was repaired quickly and I was on my way. I highly recommend Free Service Tire and Auto Center in Knoxville. My experience was 5 stars!

We were visiting from out of town when the sidewall of our tire was punctured, we called the store and they got us in right away and made it so we could get home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Dip stick tip was broken off by mechanic and was in the oil pan. Had to return for new dipstick and oil change and tip was found. Also compromised 5-30 oil was used in lieu of the manufacturer indicated 5-20 weight. My time and gas money was wasted. Should have not happened.

I had a Groupon. They charged more shop fees on top of the Groupon fee. I had tire rotation, they said they rotated them when I watched the entire time and they never did. Then they said they topped off all fluids and they did not. I checked and made them come out and top off the fluids. I will not be back.

Travis is by far the best around. I wouldn't take any of our vehicles anywhere else. He is very professional and to the point. Super friendly as well. Everyone is the shop is awesome as they always get the job done right.

We had a screw in tire and leaking while passing through on I-40. Screw was completely in the tread and 1” from side wall. This place refused to plug or patch it. They would only sell me a $300 tire. We went just down the street to Affordable Tires and they patched it no problem for cheap.

Great service in a clean shop with a good waiting area. They have been servicing my vehicles for many years and whenever there has been an issue, usually warranty on tires, they are ready to assist me in resolving whatever issue I bring to them. Always accommodating in short notice, but better to have an appointment.

Weeks ago, I went in to have a fuel pump replaced on my 2006 Avalanche. Travis and his crew did their job and we paid them. However, I had to return again the next week when the engine light came on again and the code was the same. Travis and his crew looked at it again and replaced the gas cap. Then another week goes by and the engine light and code again return. Travis and his crew went to work again this time keeping the truck for a whole week and realizing that they accidently crushed/broke a fuel line when dropping the gas tank. Not only did they fix everything, he owned it! And not charging us anything for their mistake, I find this kind of integrity of work rare. Thanks Travis & Crew!
