I would 100% recommend this place! I am usually pretty clueless about issues with my car, and the staff here were so helpful and explained everything to me and made sure I understood what was going on with my car. One of the guys showed me how to fill my coolant (I had no idea how to do). They answered all of my questions and were just SO kind. I will definitely take my cars here from now on!

I woke up to a punctured tire and needed to go on a trip that morning. Where I was turned away by another place, this one worked me in quickly went over my options and was 100% transparent about the cost and the breakdown. I only got the 1 tire but I'll be coming back for the rest when it's time

Danny and Kurt did a great job I recommend this place to anyone we call 10 minutes before closing time they assured us they had a tire and would be happy to assist us after calling multiple other tire companies that could not help us or wanted to over overcharge we appreciate your hard work and honesty I will definitely be using them in the future

I was on my way to an appointment when I had a flat. I was able to pull into Free Service Tire. I explained my desperate situation and although they didn't have the tire that I needed in stock, they were kind enough to install my temporary tire on so I was able to get to my appointment on time. Very kind, very honest guys. If you need tires, they are awesome.

First off.. I got a groupon. I told them ahead of time i was doing that. Nothing was said about it costing the same thing without it. I walked in and first thing out their mouth was. This is not going to cover it. My car needed 5.3 quarts of oil. They charged 17$ for .3 of oil. Then a bunch of added in charges. Almost 100.00. My groupon was 60 something . Why do groupons and piss off customers. I certainly had lesser estimates with everything included. It's just a trick to get you in there.

Bought a Groupon full synthetic oil change thinking that I am saving a few bucks. Booked an oil change appointment online for 9:30 am and drop the car on time. The technician told me it will take a few hours until they get to my car and that the oil change should be done in 3 to 4 hours. Got disappointed that they the booking did not mean anything. To add to my disappointment the technician told me that i need to pay an additional $30 on top of the $70 i had already paid through Groupon for extra fees and taxes. Ended up getting an uber and going home to wait for my car. Now that I am writing this review it is 3 (almost 6 hours since drop off) and I have not heard back from them. Just called them and was told that they still haven't got to my car. This is outrageous. Absolutely unbelievable. 100 bucks (plus two uber rides to and from home) for a "discounted" oil change that takes a whole day or two while i had a reservation! I cannot emphasize on how much I do not recommend this place!

Called the number and got a call center in the Philippines. They scheduled me for an appointment to get an alignment. I walk in 10 minutes early to drop keys and they tell me there's no way they can get me until the following week. There's absolutely ZERO reason a call center in manilla should be scheduling appointments for a shop in West Knoxville.... despicable business practices. The people at the front were nice though. It seems like this isn't their first run in with this problem.

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her tire repaired. Unfortunately the appointment was at a different location. This location got her right in and repaired her tire very quickly. Unfortunately, I don't recall the name of the person who I spoke to and did the repair, but he was great to work with. Great service. Thank you!!!

I sent my daughter there to get an oil change. She presented her coupon then was shocked that the bill was $50 higher due to a “labor fee.” Glad they hadn’t started and she was able to go down to Precision. That saved us $68. Steer clear of this place.

Absolute garbage. I wouldn’t trust these guys to work on my lawnmower. When you try to call you’re connected with a call center. All they are concerned about is trying to set you an appointment. After I was connected with someone at the location I was quoted almost $400 for front brake pads and to get my rotors resurfaced. Ended up going right down the road to Fisher tire and had the exact same work done for $260 tax and all. No wonder the parking lot is always empty and they always have appointments available.

We purchased 4 tires for my son that is in college. One of the tires leaked from the start. We took the car in 3 times. Finally the manager says come in buy new tire and I will cover mounting and balance. So I did. He charged me for everything. When I asked him about this he walked away. So disrespectful. He left me standing there. Do not shop at Free Tire Service in Knoxville.

100% absolutely not. the worst mechanic shop I’ve ever been to, and the worst experience. I was lied to because plans were not followed through with and it didn’t seem like they cared about my car or fixing it at all. It was there for a week because they kept postponing care and the entire time all I received was the curtesy inspection. never again.

DO NOT go to Free Service Tire Store on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN! I bought four new tires on Monday and had what felt like flat tires on Thursday. I pulled over to see if the tires were flat, called this shop, and they told me it sounded like the weights had been thrown. The closest place I had to pull over was luckily at a dealership. They found that all the weights on all four tires had been improperly installed. I, of course, had to pay for this service because I was nowhere near a Free Service Tire Store. I was told I would be reimbursed by the Kingston Pike location for the new tire services I received after their bad install. When I went to the “free service” tire center they told me I would have to get take up the matter with corporate and that they couldn’t help me after all. In other words…..too bad that they did such a terrible job on installing these new $1100 tires. They said corporate might refund me $72. I reiterate DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR ANY REASON

EDIT: As shown in the business response, still no effort has been made to even try and slightly resolve the situation. Saying you care is one thing, but actually showing it is another. Absolutely Horrible. We went in with the issue of oil spewing everywhere, we were there for maybe a good 5 hours. Sometime after we left we noticed the oil was still spewing everywhere and the engine was still smoking. We tried to communicate this with them, and they have been uncooperative and unresponsive. We were supposed to receive a call from the Manager/Owner and we never received anything. Nothing has been done to even remotely help this issue, as previously stated they have been uncooperative and unresponsive. I could not recommend this place less.

I got a nail in my tire, waited for AAA for an hour and a half to get a 3rd call saying it’s going to be another 45 min. I left the parking lot frustrated, with low air in my back tire and 3 kids in the car, looking for the nearest open tire repair stop. Danny Powers was just about to lock up and close the shop for the night but still helped me! Thank you so very much!!!!! I am so grateful for your kindness! And I apologize for making you stay later to help me. God bless!!

VERY misled by a 4.9 star rating on here. Went here on my lunch break to get a standard oil change and tire rotation as well as have them add some freon to my AC. One guy ahead of me who had been there since 11 that morning and I arrived around 3. Took them 2 hours to do this. Then I found out they didn't even add the freon after I wanted to verify they did what I asked. I will NEVER be back here. Ever.

I originally went in for an inspection on my vehicle to diagnose an issue. But with how easy and fast the staff communicated with me and my warranty company. My cooling fan was replaced all in one day and ready to pick up by end of day. I had an amazing experience with Free Service &Auto Centers I will continue to use this company for my car needs due to the amazing customer service and the experienced technicians.

Picked up a nail on the road and needed a patch right away. They got me in immediately and when I gave them my tax exempt form for the children’s home vehicle they said No! We’ll patch it for FREE! So I know where I’m coming for my next set of tires and possibly setting up a fleet account. Thank you Danny and the guys for taking such good care of me when I was in a jam!
