Franklin is a great automotive service establishment. They are honest and the pricing is reasonable. I had rear brakes serviced and they told me what was, and what wasn't needed. Brad is super nice and helpful. I trust these folks, I've used them before, and I will go to them for all my automotive servicing needs.

Absolutely top tier experience here every time. Wonderful people who really know their stuff, appreciate cool cars and are fun to talk to, very informative and detailed on the important stuff as well. As a sports car guy, let alone a subaru guy, iykyk, this is the only place outside of a reputable subaru specialist that I have felt comfortable leaving her with. Very fair labor pricing, straight shooters on part pricing. No ridiculous fees out the rear or any lack of transparency and explanation will be found here. Will absolutely be back for any big jobs or checkups I need done. Also had a great experience purchasing tires my first time there.

The folks at franklin were extremely nice and diagnosed the problem immediately. I had a hybrid indicator light that came on that I couldn’t figure out. They diagnosed the problem and were able to fix a misplaced wire within just a few hours. Great communication and the shuttle service was extremely convenient. They only charged me the diagnostic fee. I will definitely return!

Excellent service and Great Work! The dealer couldn't get my engine light to turn off. But Franklin figured it out. They also fixed some other issues. All for less than what the dealer was going to charge to fix the one engine light issue. My Subaru is running great!

I have been a customer of Franklin Automotive since they first opened in Homewood over 20 years serving Volvos only. They have taken care of all my cars throughout the years and I now currently have two Audis that I take there. They do superior work, very accommodating in emergent situations, are always very professional and friendly, and most of all, trustworthy. I have never had a concern that they may be doing unneccesary work or overcharging me. I buy my cars based on being able to bring them to Franklin for service and I highly recommend them.

The guys at Franklin Automotive go above and beyond for their customers. I had a transmission issue but a transmission shop couldn't diagnose the problem. Franklin had it diagnosed before 8am on the first day it was in their shop. Through their research and knowledge, it led to my vehicle being part of a recall and having a new transmission installed by the dealer due to a mass recall. I highly recommend the guys at Franklin Automotive.

Before going to Franklin, I had been going to the Subaru dealer in Hoover and just felt like they charged way too much and didn't have the experience and knowledge I would expect from a dealership. They quoted me between 2k to 4k to fix a wiring issue by replacing the entire wiring harness. I took the car to Franklin and Brad said they would troubleshoot the wiring/electrical issue and were able to solve for less than 1k. They also fixed other issues (some big, some small) that I had been putting off (it's an '07). All for less than what the dealer was going to charge! I just got my Legacy back and it feels as good as when I bought it. No more noises, no more engine codes, A/C running great and it runs smooth. Brad did an excellent job with explaining me the "why" of each repair. They mostly use OE parts, but in one case he offered to reduce the cost by using an aftermarket part where it made sense. I really appreciate the fact that he took into account the value of the vehicle vs. the cost of repairs. I didn't want to spend more on repairs than the cost of the car. He called that out before I even brought it up myself! What a relief to have a solid Subaru mechanic in the area that I trust!
