I always feel like I get a fair deal. No upselling or nitpicky inspections. I told I needed new brakes, front and back. They told me I only needed front brakes. Anybody else would’ve replaced them all. Saved me $600.

Staff always super friendly and they don't try to up sell or over charge. Switched to them after my last mechanic started charging outrageous prices.

Everyone at Forest Hill Garage was incredibly friendly. I was in a bind needing an inspection before a funeral, and they did as they said they would....knocked it out quick while providing friendly chatter during my wait, including a magic trick! Even wished my family condolences on the way out the door. Little things like that go a long way. Thank you!

I originally gave this garage 5 stars but just found out that something they did was not properly installed which caused my brakes to almost go out. I guess that could happen to anybody but your brakes are crucially important!!!!!

I love this garage. They are knowledgeable and honest. Like any great mechanic, they stay pretty busy. It's worth calling before you come in to see what their workload looks like for the day.

This might be the first time I have ever gotten my car inspected where “something“ wasn’t wrong that required service. This garage is so honest, that they didn’t even try and charge me for windshield wiper replacements, which is the default for every other garage in the city. They were done in less than an hour, even with a few cars ahead of me. The best part is, you can walk down to the Starbucks and treat yourself to a delicious drink while you wait for your car. I hope I only need to see them once a year, but I will absolutely be back!

I am very thankful for these people! I had a very troublesome issue in my vehicle but they kept me updated on the situation and made me feel comfortable. Feeling like I could trust them made a stressful time all that easier to deal with. I have my car back and I’m very thankful!! Edit - went back again after hearing some troubling noises and they did an excellent job again! Ten stars :-)

I took my car here rather than my regular mechanic since I was worried my car wouldn't make it to my normal spot. It took two days and $450+ to "fix" a front wheel bearing and the problem remained once I picked my car up. They told me they fixed the front right wheel bearing but now the front left wheel bearing needed repair. This sounded extremely suspect to me, so I took the car back to my trusted mechanic and they confirmed that the problem was still the front right wheel bearing and that the front left was fine. Either they don't know what they are doing, or they pulled a fast one on me.

Forest Hill Garage. Honest. Trustworthy. Great mechanics! I have several cars that are not new and they keep them running for me. The Forest Hill mechanics tell me what I need and what I could possibly need repaired soon. They do not recommend unnecessary repairs. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend. Forest Hill is a great, old-school garage! There’s no barista or fancy waiting room — just friendly guys who take great care of their customers with humor and a smile. While I was getting my truck inspected I watched them accommodate a scheduled appointment, a walk-in emergency, and a repeat customer pickup, all with the same efficiency, professionalism, and welcoming attitude. Chris and the crew made my day, and I think I found my new auto care place!

Joseph Henderson, the owner is a real nice guy, as well as the gentleman with a beard. We had some good conversation passing the time in the office. Joseph squeezed me in last minute to take a look at my car , see what was going on. He found the problem quickly and gave me a fair price. Great honest mechanics here. Definitely recommend this shop.
