Always tough to find great mechanics and mine had just retired. Jason was super responsive and super knowledgable about my car, right off the top of his head! Work was well priced, timely and they worked clean. Also seemed to have a great rapport with his team/seems to be a great working environment. Happy workers do better work. Bonus shop cat always helps.

This is going to be a weird review, as I am genuinely glad they did not work in my car. I own a 1976 Mercedes and tried bringing them to be checked up for some belt noise. They tried and they did not feel comfortable having to remove certain parts that would have been needed to adjust them. I had my inspection done, which was performed with no issue. Now, you might ask, why would you recommend a guy who said he could not work in your car? It certainly proved to me that they are about doing good work rather than just having a car with repairs in their pipeline to cover their bills. Obviously, I would not recommend you to bring a classic European car to them because you will likely have the same outcome, but if you have a traditional, modern car, they showed me they are serious about their work and comfort level. Honest mechanics are rare and I appreciate it when I find one, even if he can't work in my car.

My first time experience with Foreign fix was beyond what I expected from the time I walked in and leaving out with best services performed. Very few mechanics can fix BMW, the way they do. It there. I had my air intake hose replaced with a reasonable price with no any delays. Please if you are looking for any good place to repair your car this is the place. Not sure about the mechanic name who fixed my car but I believe it’s Zach very knowledgeable guy.

Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with the repair work performed on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma at Foreign Fix earlier this year, following a hit-and-run accident. I initially brought my vehicle to the shop for repairs, filed a claim through my insurance, and trusted that Foreign Fix would restore the truck to its proper condition, given all of the great reviews I saw online. However, upon picking up my truck after the supposed completion of repairs, I noticed that a portion of the left rear bumper bracket was hanging below the vehicle. On the right rear bumper bracket, a clip was holding it securely in place, while the left side was missing a similar clip. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the bumper bracket on the left side was, in fact, broken, leading me to believe that it was not replaced. I promptly brought this to the attention of the owner. Instead of properly replacing the damaged part, Foreign Fix opted to use a zip tie to secure the dangling flap to the broken bumper bracket. This solution is not acceptable. I expected the bumper bracket to be replaced correctly, as originally agreed upon (and paid for). Seeking a second opinion, I took my vehicle to another body shop, where I was informed that the bumper bracket is indeed broken and requires replacement. The cost of this repair is approximately $500. If I want my truck restored to its original condition, for which my insurance and I already paid in full, I am on the hook for an out-of-pocket expense due to the incomplete work performed by Foreign Fix. I would welcome a prompt resolution by the business.

I took my Subaru here multiple times for different issues and I’ve always had good experiences. As a woman I’ve had bad experiences with other mechanics in the city but not with Foreign Fix. Jason always quoted the price as soon as they figured out the issue and I never felt like I was getting ripped off. Once they put in a bad part (just bad luck) but they fixed it again no problem. Will use them in the future 100%.

My most recent experience here was not good at all. First, horrible communication. I left my car with foreign fix and after they told me what was up with my car, I did not hear from them again. I texted and called but no answer. It’s obvious I was being ignored bc the shop did not want to do the work on my car. It’s fine that they didn’t want to work on my car. What’s not fine is ignoring me and not being honest and telling me that. It was very inconsiderate bc I ended up wasting a few days when I could’ve just gone to another shop. Also, I work in New Jersey so I really needed my car. Second thing that really irked me was when I passed by my car after business hours and they left my car unlocked on the street. They lost me as a customer but I guess that doesn’t matter to Jason bc he gets a ton of business either way.

Jason is a Class Act. He is super honest which makes him easy to trust. In a time where everything is rising in cost, he remains reasonably priced. This is the only shop to use in ur looking to get quality work and have it done in a timely manner.

Came here for an inspection, very friendly, quick, and helpful ~ seemed expensive though ($108) which makes me a little hesitant to come back for any potential future service/maintenance

Been calling around multiple shops to get my bmw in as most won’t take my car, however most of them recommended me here! Got me in quick and was able to get me my car back the very next day. Super reasonable prices and honest. Thank u iason!

I will make it easy and short so it is easy to read: I took my car there because they said compressor was seized up. They changed me 1500, paid 500over Venmo right away other 1000 in cash when I picked up. The car was hit with huge scratch on it. They did not fix the body work, they did nothing. No compensation. This is how Jason does work! Great job Jason. Be proud of your work.

These guys are amazing! I reached to them regarding the coolant level and check engine light. They were able to accommodate my appointment request the very next day. Dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up by 4pm. Great service without having to break the bank. Would definitely be coming back for my next service.

When all other mechanics were estimating $2500-$3k to repair my car, Foreign Fix Auto completed the job for $700. 2 weeks later and there are no issues to report. I will be returning to them whenever I have future car trouble.

I moved up to fishtown but still take my car and my wife’s car here. Jason and his team are great. They make time to fit you in if you call ahead with an issue and their prices are really fair. Took my truck in with a couple different error codes recently when my check engine light came on. Without running up the bill for unnecessary work they did process of elimination and found the issue. $116 fix when I was preparing myself for much more. Nice honest work, good place to take your car.

I normally don’t comment reviews twice but this place is the real deal ! They always take care of me when I need my car fixed. Trustworthy is key and Jason is honest and willing to help. Price is also reasonable. I had plenty of vehicles and dealt with a lot of good mechanics but none of them was good as Foreign Fix Auto.

Jason and crew done good. Replaced the front shocks etc on my 2006 SAAB within a day and at a fair price. Went back and had the back struts replaced. They had to get some parts that took overnight but the next day done in the morning. Again fair price. I was expecting just a look at the issue etc due to them being busier than usual with the long 4th of July week end but they done gone do da job! Thanks.

Went with this shop based off of all of the suggestions I got from neighbors, glad I did! Fair inspection, reasonably priced, and great service. Definitely will be back
