I had a sudden problem with my car while out and about. I stopped into First Automotive on Highland Knolls. They were very kind. (This was about 11:00 am). They were able to check it out right away, keeping me posted by phone along the way, then fixed it. They sent an Uber to bring me back to the shop and I drove my car home by 3:40. There is no way that I could be more pleased with their service. Everyone in the shop was kind, helpful, and understanding!

Nick was fantastic! He listened to me took my suggestions and advised me that they would only know for sure how much it would be after they got everything apart. It was a 4 wheel disc brake job and the front rotors were deeply worn so it wasn’t cheap but Nick didn’t overcharge me for parts like so many other places love to. They treated me fairly gave me a heads up on some needed items and fluid change getting close to needing done. I’ll be going back to take care of a few needed items soon. Brought the vehicle back for those other items 1) Blend Door actuator failure and 2) Steering Wheel telescope motor which required the dash to come completely out of the vehicle. They ran into some parts availability issues on day 2 but were able to get all that resolved and the truck done, looking as if it had never been worked on. Again the techs and Nick were great to work with! They stayed on budget and communicated with us all along the way. I highly recommend First Automotive for your repair needs.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday at First Tire in Katy. I went in initially for an oil change but also requested the 38 point inspection. It was then that it was determined that my front brakes were in the yellow zone. I could drive my car longer but risked eventually causing damage to my rotors. So their technicians were able to fix the brakes as well rotating my tires. Very good customer service.

As a single mom it's hard to find honest people to work on your vehicle and do a great job without being taken advantage of. I was not only able to get what I needed fixed, they went above and beyond for me while being fully honest with what was needed on my vehicle, in which I already knew the problem. They fixed the problem and advised recommendations without harassing or breaking other things on purpose. They gained my loyalty and I will be a returning customer. Thank you Tire & Auto for your professional service, booking me speedily during my emergency, and for keeping amazing communication during my car's overnight stay. The whole team did an amazing job from the mechanic to the front desk. Thank you again.

Came in for a tire pressure and battery check. Battery was low and they suggested that I call AAA since the battery appeared to have a year left on the warranty. AAA denied that the battery was still under warranty and would not replace it. I would have to buy a new battery. I decided to have First Tire replace it because they were cheaper and also they filed a claim with AAA on my behalf. They are very professional and polite. They are my new "go to" place for car care.

EDIT: I rated this repair shop Five stars because the manager James and staff were very friendly and helpful with some significant issues I needed to be completed on my Honda CR-V. When all was said and done, they were able to save me money on the total bill. If I need any future auto repairs, I definitely will be returning to this location. I would strongly recommend anyone else needing auto repair work to do the same.

Exceptionally honest, they couldn’t fix my car, they told me why. Charged me zero. Even though they spent time. No upsell, no nonsense. If you are looking for a straightforward experience that is about as honest as it can get in the industry, this is the place to go.

I needed a repair that I thought would be an allinement issue, but ended being more involved. They worked hard to source all the items my old car required and gave me a quote along with a multi-point inspection. The cost was reasonable, the staff friendly, and the work done quickly. They kept me updated on the progress throughout the repairs. I would have no problem using them again for my auto repair needs.

Needed tires badly. James and Nick made some calls and were able to get the specialty sized tires that day. Appreciate the Uber service to drop me off and pick me up. Also, I'm happy that my Synchrony account can be used here. Lastly, they honor veterans with a discount. With all that said, I'm very happy with the care and services received. They were able to order the tire size I needed, service was pretty quick, they were good with communication, had polite staff, they did a full assessment of my car which I wasn’t expecting, and sent a link listing all things I needed to take care of. All around great experience.

WOW, GREAT service and clearly a bunch of "good guys". While sitting waiting as my breaks were checked and worked on this morning, a woman had come in with a sweet young girl. I don't know all the details and I wouldn't share everything if I did, but let me just say, she was in a bad place. The guys saw this and did everything they could to make things better for her. The tech got her a battery and it looked like they were just charging for parts for the work she needed done. She was in tears hugging them and I won't lie, I had some tears in my eyes hearing it. I'll definitely be going back to them in the future.

I went in for an oil change, brake check, and multi-point inspection, and I'm so glad I chose this place. They were prompt and offered me a complimentary shuttle ride home and back to the shop, which made the whole process so much easier. Fair pricing and they did a great job with my car. bought a car with a salvage title and got four very necessary and expensive things fixed with them and they had it done in a day and a half and it drives sooo much better ! they’re very transparent w what’s going on with your car. will always come back.
