Leonard is always so patient with me. Great service, fair pricing. Jason and Joe were super friendly. Most importantly, they don't try to take advantage of women! Most places she me alone and think "oh yeah, let's jack this bill up!"

Chris, Leonard and the others on location always have me taken care of. Debris from an accident on the st pete bridge took out one of my tires, they replaced it and took care of the alignment without issue. They're always on top of things when I drop my vehicle off, great staff at this location.

Quoted me a price for some new tires and an oil change. No problem. Said it would take three hours. Took exactly three hours. Good deal. I like when things play out the way they should, especially when I am taking time off of work to get this stuff done. Staff was easy to work with, and the waiting area is comfortable enough. All they need is a little arcade with some pinball machines and a Ms. Pac Man to help pass the time, and this place would be perfect!

Firestone is a clean organized looking facility. The man at the front desk, Leonard, had a smile on his face, reviewed what my appt was for and answered my questions. I do recommend Firestone and will be using them in the future.

3 reviews in one. (2022 review) One of my wheels started making a ton of noise and brought it in per my dad's recommendation. He has been going to a different Firestone for years and likes how they do business. They took the vehicle quick, found the issue and brought me back to explain and show me that one of the brake calipers locked up. Did NOT oversell me anything else aside from what was needed. Eric is who I worked with and he was as professional and transparent as could be. The technician who explained the issue in the garage was also great. Didn't catch his name. I see some mixed reviews here but I can say I'll be back. My experience was great. Before giving them the greenlight to service the vehicle after he explained the issue, I called 3 other places including the dealer to compare pricing since their diagnostic cost was so inexpensive (compared to most places of $100+ just to diagnose the issue) and all 3 places were more expensive. (May 2023 Review) - Another positive experience. I needed 4 new tires, new brakes and some other work. Dropped the vehicle off in the morning and it was complete by afternoon. Pricing was fair and work is quality again. We put it on their 6 month interest free card to pay it off slowly over 6 months. (June 2024) After a few more recent visits to this location for routine work and also steering wheel shake, they were unable to identify the root cause of my shaking. I had some more work done a few months ago here at this location (very expensive work) and they were positive this expensive work would fix the shaking issue. It did not. At this point, I felt oversold. Went to them one or two more times after with the shake and they still couldnt identify the issue. Brought it to another Firestone and they identified the issue in 30 minutes. They also identified that one of the axles installed just a few months ago at the other location had gone bad and they replaced for free under warranty. Sadly the original store on Dale Mabry didnt tell me about the bad axle that couldve been replaced under warranty either of the 2 times I brought it back in for shake. Lastly, I’ve experienced the man (I believe the manager) at the front desk talk down to potential customers because they were a little hard to understand or were not being clear enough. I get being frustrated when someone is not clear but no need to be rude or make someone feel like an idiot. The other Firestone I went to did the complete opposite. Bent over backwards to help those who weren’t being clear so that they really understood the issue. This went a long way with me. Soooo, I’ve had good and not so good experiences here.

If I could give minus 5 stars, both Firestone and this place deserve it, bought 4 very expensive Firestone tires, I included road hazard which should cover my tires for up to 70,000 miles, first of all the tires are such a bad quality that get punched so easily that I have to fix at least 2 tires every 6 months and this is a car used to take the kids to school because my wife works from home, the road hazard is a joke dessigned just to take your money, sometimes at this repair shop they don't even find the reason why the tire is loosing pressure, speaking about the location this is the last time I go there, they treat customers like if you were robbing the place, it seems that they try to intimidate you so you don't complain, don't spend your money in this place and don't buy Firestone tires

Went to get a tune-up, oil change, and mentioned a possible leak in coolant reservoir. They did the oil change and replaced 3/4 spark plugs. Said the spark plug was stuck and couldn’t get it out (that specific one was misfiring and causing check engine light). Did a pressure test for the coolant and said no possible leaks. Also tried to sell on other (what other people told me) unnecessary services. Few days later had my FIL replace the spark plug that was ‘stuck’, came out in a few seconds, without issue. There’s also a leak in the coolant reservoir, plain as day. I’m not sure how multiple mechanics couldn’t get a spark plug out and see a leak. Definitely won’t go back. Just learned how to do this myself.

Juan and all the others here are LITERAL ANGELS! They really helped me out after a very sudden flat right before I had to drive three hours to pick my son up, I was a mess and they were so compassionate and helpful, they made a bad much better, thank you guys so much!

Tried over and over to scam me into purchasing things that were not needed for my car. Every person I spoke to on the phone was needlessly condescending and very rude. Two stars only because they did diagnose and fix my car in the end, and whenever we came into the store they were mostly polite.

I am so thankful to Leonard, Eric, and any at the Dale Mabry location who worked on my car to make today a success. They squeezed me in to replace a faulty alternator under warranty (at no charge) from only a month ago at the Florida Ave Firestone (just south of Busch Blvd). Recent issues with my power steering and battery seem to have been negatively affected by the expensive work done previously at Florida Ave.

I have used this location a few times while on a job assignment and driving a rental vehicle(for work). No appointment either time appreciated Leonard getting service. Pretty straight forward guy. The crew all always working not slacking.

I was sent here by the Firestone on Florida avenue to program my tire pressure sensors I had bought and had installed at the location on Florida avenue the day before. Leonard said he would take care of me and he 10 minutes. I then get a call from the Florida avenue location that advised that Leonard called him and advised he didn’t have time to look at it. Why would you have me come, if you don’t have time to look at it? Why tell me 10 minutes when you had no intention to look at it? Very unprofessional. Then i asked for an appointment to come back, and he says you have to leave it and it’s walkin only. I won’t ever return here. They love to waste your time.

Second update: Took car to dealer, their inspection shows the axles are fine, and the tires are incorrectly balanced. They offered to rebalance the tires for free, AFTER the dealership did their inspection and found nothing wrong with the axles. Firestone was simply trying to get another service that wasn’t needed, to fix a problem THEY caused. I will get my free balance and will never go back to another Firestone again. Steer clear of these places, they are scamming people! UPDATE: Called their citrus park location and was treated with respect, so I am purchasing from there. I wools suggest if anyone else is considering getting tires from Firestone to take the drive and go to the citrus park location Tried to go in to get two tires and was immediately treated like I wasn’t welcome. When asked what I needed I said I would like to get 2 tires installed, the advisor said with attitude “what tires? Are you gonna GET tires and want them installed?” Then was told that he had a long list of people he had to take care of and was rudely told I was going to have to wait until he “tied up loose ends” and was that it would be at least 3-4 hours. I don’t mind the wait, and I understand that there are people in front of me, but I don’t appreciate being treated like an annoyance. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I don’t spend money at a business that doesn’t treat the customer with respect

Stay away from this location. After years of putting up with bringing our cars here for tire rotations, oil changes, brakes, etc. and spending thousands of dollars, we're done. I had a flat tire that had a nail in it, and they wouldn't fix it. I took my car to Tire Choice, and they had it fixed in an hour. Every time I would ask for a tire rotation at this location, they would charge me and not do it. All they want to do is sell you tires. I think they see me as an easy touch. Sorry, this 66 year old woman knows her way around cars and their maintenance. Getting your car worked on is such torture nowadays.

The customer service is amazing. I brought in my own tires to be mounted and the tires were completely wrong (totally my fault). They bent over backwards to help me get it straightened out and mounted the new tires. Castille helped me and his level of customer service and communication was 5 stars!

My light went on indicating low pressure, it happened after work so I stopped here at Firestone because it was on my way home and when I pulled in I was so impressed with how I was greeted! They were so polite and knowledgeable. They seemed to bend backwards to please the customer! They, of course, put air in my tire and I was on my way! My tire kept the air and was never so impressed with these people; I'm coming back here from now on, even if it's just putting air in my tire! These people are knowledgeable, competent and accommodating!
