Getting a vehicle inspected in the winter can be difficult. I had just bought a used pickup truck, and the roads were ice and snow covered. We had a break in the weather, and I called Firestone to see if I could get an inspection that day. The person who answered said that it generally takes two weeks advance for an appointment, but then he said, "Hold on and I will check with one of my inspectors." He returned and said that if I would leave the truck at the shop, one of the inspectors would work it into his schedule that day. I got the truck inspected that day, and another arctic blast of weather is in the forecast. Life is good.

Went to 5 other places looking for a battery installation before finally striking gold here. Matt and team had me in and out quickly and efficiently. Pricing was reasonable, clean and large waiting area.

I don't go to Firestone because of the horror stories I've heard. In an emergency I unfortunately had to. They lived up to the stories. In my initial call, I was told there was a diagnostic fee of $100, I told the guy what the issue was and there's no need for the diagnostic. He stated the system requires that to be input but it would come off the price. Got a call the car was done, a different guy told me a price that I was ok with, thinking the diagnostic had been removed. Picked up the car, only to be told my cost was $100 more than quoted. Conveniently they removed half of the fee. Seems there's no logic to their pricing and they charge what they want. Not a place I'll return to.

I get my state inspections done here. They are always backed up for days/weeks with inspections, but it seems that's how it is everywhere. Staff were professional and helpful on the phone. The waiting room is decent for a repair shop. Fair prices.

In the last month they've fixed two punctures for me. Reasonably priced and quick enough. Had to come back after a wheel weight fell off and they quickly rebalanced it for free. Positive experience

Google maps says they close at 7pm so I got there at 6:30pm in real need to fix a flat tire, that's good 30 minutes they had still open just for a simple task of fixing a flat tire, as I approach the guy he is locking the door and opens it when he sees me, I say I need a flat tire to be fixed and he says it will have to be tomorrow, I see the clock again and, like I said, it was 6:30pm so I ask don't you guys close at 7pm? He says yes but it's too late clearly meaning they weren't going to fix the tire, what a terrible service! They couldn't fix a simple tire in less than 30 minutes?! Of course they could but they just didn't want to so that means they are going to be there for 30 minutes doing nothing just waiting to leave at 7 o'clock being paid for not working. What kind of business kicks business away when they are still open and perfectly able to make a fix that they would have finished in 15-20 minutes! Again, what a terrible service.

The team at this Firestone is amazing and helped us a lot. We started our road trip when we noticed that our splash guard was scraping against the road. Other shops couldn’t squeeze us in but these guys did. After 20 minutes, it was all fixed and we were ready to resume our trip. We very much appreciate their help, especially since we had our 2 year old with us, who wouldn’t have wanted to wait for hours. Highly recommend their service

This location is incredible and came to my aid in a last minute situation. Josh, the manager, helped me out in a tough situation. He was professional, quick, and cares about his location and customers. Moreover, the location had tires in stock for a situation like mine. I had to leave town for a medical school interview, and needed my front tires replaced before I left. The night prior, I had an appt canceled at another firestone location with no help from the store in the morning. I was scrambling, and called this location at 7am when they first opened. Josh told me to bring in my car and they would work on it when his technician came in at 8am. I brought the car in and waited in the lobby. After giving my keys to Josh, he walked out to the parking lot, brought my car into the garage, and fixed the car himself in an hour before his technician came in that morning. I am truly astounded of his kindness, and am thankful for his services. I will be bringing my car back to this location if I need help with my tires again.

I had a 4pm appointment for an oil change. Shortly after I showed up around 3:50, I come to find out that they were way behind because they only had 1 mechanic working that day!! Needless to say, I didn't get home until 6:30 that night......... and the mechanic didn't even fill up my windshield wiper fluid which was totally empty. I will never come back. That's for sure.

I have been consistently impressed with the manager at this location. I had a flat tire that I needed replaced very quickly so that my vacation plans wouldn't be completely derailed today, and he went out of his way to sneak me in on a busy day and change out the tire so that I could get on the road. I'm so grateful!

The tire pressure light came on in my car. I took my car in and Matt put air in my tires. I notice the next day that the tire caps on the passenger side of my car had not been replaced. I went back to Firestone to get them. I spoke with Josh in Matt's absence he was awful. Josh was unhepful, negative, condescending. Josh insisted that the reason my Tire caps were missing was because a kid took them off.!? Yes, if that kid's name is Matt. If you are looking for poor service, this is definitely your spot.

Told them I need new breaks because the hear them grinding the guy at the front desk told me it would be a 10 dollar charge for a break inspection. I told them you don't need to inspect it you can hear the grinding. He said "It's just 10 dollars". Meanwhile there is a big sign next the the counter that says FREE break inspections for the month. I asked about it and was told there would still be a charge. He acted like I was bothering him so I left without getting any work done.

Dropped my car off at 7:00 a.m. . They didn't look at it till 2:00 p.m. then they said they're not going to do it because of bolt wasn't screwed in all the way. And some other bs. Don't waste your time going to them Go to anybody else. They even refused to tighten the lug bolts on my tire because they didn't want to go after somebody else's work. Like they're the first person that's ever worked on this car

Matt was great! He was able to work me in the same day to switch out a flat tire. I was surprised when I found out they did an alignment too. Matt and the all the guys at Chippewa Firestone are always helpful. I'll definitely use and recommend this location.
