I took vehicle to firestone for an inspection; and didn't think twice about it since I'd been there before. I got a call from them saying that they were inspecting the vehicle and found a faulty hose and sensor. She said before they could complete the inspection that sensor and hose had to be fixed; and it would cost me about $950. I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER EVER go back there again. Pure BS, they could have atleast completed the inspection, but instead wanted to con me into spending almost a thousand dollars. Nothing but a CON Shop!

Don't go. Tired to get me to replace parts that did not need replacing costing well over 2k. Went to get a second and third opinion and both said literally nothing is wrong. I went in for a simple $20 grease job by the way.

This shop can't do anything besides light work such as fuild changes, sensors, other then that they will tell you to go somewhere else.

Came in to get new tires and ran into quite a few roadblocks with my vehicle before it even got into the bay. Matthew at the front counter went above and beyond to help me out without charging me anything extra. Even after dealing with an unruly customer, he had a positive attitude and it didn’t diminish his ability to provide great customer service. This Firestone has more than earned my business.

I called ahead of time to confirm if this location could service my vehicle on a busy Saturday. The guy who answered my call took my information and details of my request and asked if he could do the research and call me back. He kept his word and called back. I dropped my car off and they were finished in a few hours.

This location is terrible. The manager is unprofessional in the way he speaks to clients and also defended his new team member because it was his “first day” so that validated his excuse for also being as unprofessional. There’s always the excuse of mechanic not being at location so expect to wait several days. Disgusting Roach traps in plain view. I called corporate and was supposed to get a call from the regional manager, months later I’m still waiting.

I purchased the lifetime front and alignment from a Store located in California and had a terrible experience. upon returning home, I made an appointment with the Mandeville location and was told that it would be a three hour wait. If they pick the time and the date, they should not be a wait. after calling customer service. They reached out to the Slidell location and I was very pleased with how fast I was in and out.

EDITED-- i recently returned to this location for more services to my vehicle, and the interaction i had with their new manager Matt was much better. Alex was also there and was great as well. they're very nice and the work environment seemed to improve very much now that the previous manager ronald has moved from that location. ronald was not friendly to be around. i felt welcomed and comfortable being there waiting for my car. thank you Matt for taking over that store. back up to 5 stars for you. ORIGINAL-- i was there a few days ago getting my car serviced by my husband that works there. i was waiting in the lobby, and overheard the store manager Ronald, and another employee talking bad about my husband. talking bad about someone's husband in front of them is disrespectful by itself, but talking that loudly and poorly about one of your employees infront of guests is extremely unprofessional. i'm still leaving 4 stars as my vehicle is working as it should and had no other issues. but the environment between employees and management does not seem respectful at all.

This past Sunday 08/04/2024 has to be my WORST experience with this Firestone history to date and will NEVER be going to this location, I guess giving multiple chances and I’m a gluten for punishment since I kept going back. However this last time was IT! Started with a flat tire Saturday evening so I went online to make an appointment for Sunday morning at 8am. Knowing it wasn’t confirmed if I just showed up and wait that I would at least some point be seen or just leave my car with them. We arrive at 7:45 Sunday morning my husband gets out the car and there was employee was helping another lady at the time he started getting loud with my husband without even saying anything starts to yell at him that his computers are not working and not sure if he’ll be able to take any cars in and not sure if he would be able to at all. I know times and situations get stressful and stuff happens, I’m very understanding stuff happens but when you at me first thing in the am, you will get something in return. So we waited outside till about 8:15 to actually walk in and I ask the guy, your computers up and running now? He said yes while rolling his eyes at me. So we checked in and he processed to tell me he wasn’t sure again when he would get to the car, I said that was fine we will leave it. He said it might be a few days if I needed tires, I said you haven’t even looked at the car yet, how to you know I need all new tires, so I told him depends on how his attitude continued if I was going to purchase tires here again or not, so he still proceeded to roll his eyes while my husband was trying to tell him the issue with our tire. I told him just to call me and we would make arrangements, and we left. I still had an irritated feeling from what had happened before that we sat in the truck for a moment, my friend looked up and said oh, there’s another tire place over there. If this one doesn’t want to help them go see over there. So that is what we did, we were presented by a sweet lady over there, I walked in, asked a question and gave me a quote for all 4 news tires and within my range of the higher end tires I wanted to get they had them in stock so I told her I would be back. We left and went back to Firestone where my car was, walked back in and told him we were no longer staying since the way we were treated. I would rather give money to another shop with better customer service in a frustrating situation as it is with tires anyhow. If anything I’ll go to Gulfport location next time. ✌🏻 out Slidell Firestone. You keep your employee Alex with his attitude you might be loosing more than you know.

I had my truck dropped off before my appointment at noon, and they still hadn’t finished by 7:00. Waited in the lobby for 2 hours, and was never spoken too. An alignment and tire rotation should never take this long, and it is a waste of time. Why schedule an appointment if my truck won’t be looked at for hours?

We were passing through Louisiana on vacation with our 2 kids and dog. Our car started making an odd noise, we called at least half a dozen other shops and no one could fit us in the same day. We called Firestone and I talked to Matt. I explained the problem and our situation of being on vacation. He told us to bring it right in and they'd get it looked at. Sure enough, we got there, they fixed our issue and got us back on the road within an hour. Great customer service!!!

AVOID AT ALL COST ⚠️ if you care about your time. Only go here if you have absolutely nothing else to do with your day. Currently waiting here going on 4 hours 📍 for a simple oil change after being told it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. 4 HOURS… for an OIL CHANGE?! I highly recommend a Take 5 or literally anywhere else. I got here at exactly 9:45 am , it is now 1 pm?!?!

Excellent shop. Had my truck in for an alignment after some front end work and a set of tires. They got it done in great time. The alignment is not perfect, the steering wheel is still cocked to the left slightly, but the truck needs more front end work, so there could be a bit of play here and there. It drives straight and smooth, so Im pleased with that for a nearly 20 year old truck with 170k on the clock. The staff I spoke to was awesome and not pushy about needed repairs. They emailed an inspection report. I'll be back for more work soon no doubt. You cannot beat Firestone's lifetime alignment service! Thanks yall

Got a flat tire on a roadtrip and they were able to see us right away (an hour before closing!) It only took about 20 minutes total and $30 to get the tire inspected, patched, and filled, which was great because we were on a time crunch to get to a tour we had reserved, and we did end up making it just in time! We also had them do a brake inspection the next morning, which they did for free in about an hour. Thanks to the Slidell Firestone team for quick and thorough auto care to get us back on the road with minimal delay.

They sold me tires a couple years ago, but could not do a front end alignment. They don't have a rack that can do a truck with a 172" wheelbase. They should remove complete from their "Complete Autocare Center" sign.

Outstanding customer service! We picked up a screw in our tire leaving New Orleans and stopped in to get it plugged. Unfortunately the damage was too severe and the tire had to be replaced. Alex was very accommodating understanding of our situation and had us fixed up and back on the road quickly! Highly recommended!

they were terrible. we had an appointment set up for a tire rotation at 1pm. my car was there for 2 hours and it never got touched. the service person said first come first serve. so why in the world is there appointments. so we called the one in Mandeville, Louisiana and they said appointments come first walk ins will have to wait. so go to Mandeville and not Slidell because they are terrible and you will have to wait till midnight 🙄
