Booked an appointment online to have a flat tire repaired. They recommended that I come in early. When they inspected my tires they said these tires are over 8 years old. Well, my mileage was low at 29,000 on an 8 year old car. They recommended that I buy four new tires and refused to fix my flat. They never intended to fix my flat from the start and were only trying to upsell me for a new set of tires. When I booked the appt they already knew my car was over 8 years old. They wasted my time! I took my car to another shop where they fixed my flat for $25. I won’t ever go here again.

I came in for an alignment and tire rotation. Left my car for 2+ hours, came back. Your team tells me that Carlos, the tech who worked on my car, says the car is done. I get in and drive away, but the alignment is worse than when I brought the car in (steering wheel cocked severely to the right, car tracking to the left). I returned the car, explain that it’s a mess in addition to noticing a giant scratch on my rim, a rim on the driver side rear of the car, which wouldn’t be in a position to be easily scratched, a fresh scratch, and greasy handprints on the inside and exterior of the vehicle (the wheel being one on the driver side, isn’t exposed to curbs when parking, also there are no other scratches on this wheel). An alignment is done once again, which is better than the first one, but still terrible. And this time the tech, Andy, left brake fluid all over my steering wheel and door.

I had 2 negative experiences with Firestone at 1501 Mission within 1 month. 12.4. 24 brought in my car for 4 new tires.with full warranty Appointment made in advance also provided tire sizes in advance. Took them 10 hrs to install 4 tires, didn’t complete wheel alignment assessment. Excuse was they only had 3 of the tires & had to order! Why if you had this information in advance? 31 days & 300 miles later one of my tires was not keeping air pressure started 2 weeks after install. Contacted Firestone scheduled appt. Arturo checks me in, I tell him the issue, show him my original paperwork & information is in the system. He immediately says oh patch & repair? Not for a brand new tire under warranty! He types in the computer then tells me I have to pay $212 for a new tire!WHAT? I angrily push back & refused to pay & asked for a manager.because tire is under warranty and only been on the car 31 days. He then types & says oh $21 for labor to put on new tire. I don’t know if he was trying to get over on me because he thought I was stupid & not understand what the warranty covers or because I was a woman & didn’t know any better. Once w/ the mechanic I noticed he was looking at the wrong tires, I had to tell him which tire was bad so that wasn’t even properly communicated to him. Nelson comes to me & asks me what the problem was.I explained everything that transpired & he tried to make more excuses. He was also on duty when it took 10 hrs to change my 4 tires in December. They also made me pay again for warranty even though I had paid for it the first time. They are getting over on customers. This place in understaffed, they overbook customers, by taking walk-ins over people who have appointments. If you’re a Woman who is not sure of what questions to ask or intimidated by questioning them if you are unsure, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. My horrible experiences was just with tires I can only imagine the sub-par service they will provide for car repairs & maintenance. Note- there was a homeless person sleeping there who clearly had dedicated & urinated at the entry to the office. We pointed it out to both workers & the did nothing . We had to step around it. It smelled horrible. It wasn’t until Nelson came in almost 45 min later that they made any effort to remove it..they didn’t wash the area down and we were forced to step around it. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE even if it means a longer drive to a different business. Poorly managed and poor, untrustworthy customer service. I also plan to report this to their Corporate Office

I had an appointment scheduled for 12:00pm. I arrived before my appointment time and was told that my car would be ready around 3:00pm. At 3:00pm I returned to the Firestone store and found that they had not even started working on my car yet. I waited at the Firestone store for 2 more hours until my car was ready at 5:00pm, just before closing time. The wait time for my car to get serviced was a total of 5 hours. Since I was told that my car would be ready by 3:00pm and it was not even started to be serviced until after 3:00pm, I am very disappointed with the customer service experienced with this Firestone store. I now feel like Firestone is an unreliable company that cannot be trusted and that they do not respect their customers' time. In addition, my car is not repaired to a satisfactory condition. The steering is now worse than it was before I took it in to be serviced by Firestone. I am very disappointed with this experience in dealing with Firestone.

Bait & Switch Scam. I called these guys the Sunday before Cyber Monday re: their $20 off coupon for Lifetime Alignments. The guy said their price is $89 (WOW!) so I made an appointment for the next day. When I brought my car in, he said it was $229. He tried to act like there was some miscommunication on the phone but I repeated the number several times and asked for a name and the guy paused in a weird way so I was obviously given a fake name. I showed the rep the phone number in my call log and he tried to say it was their answering service in FL even though it was a 415 area code. I looked up the shop on Google and showed him the same phone number as my call log. I said, "Ok, let's call the answering service and speak directly to Angel and ask why he's misquoting prices for your services during business hours." I called and put my phone on speaker and it connected directly to the store. I walked out and will never be back. There is a reason this place has terrible Yelp reviews. I believe it was the owner, Milton, who gave me the fake price and fake name because he is the one who confirmed my appointment while I was on the phone for the $89 price. Take your business elsewhere or don't blame anyone else for being taken for a ride by these people.

Advised them I had an issue with the brake pedal which was hard to depress.Granted the vehicle has high miles their first inclination is new brake pads, rotors, and fluid exchange. I agreed which was a mistake because after service I still had the issue and worse. Worse being the vehicle was stalling at stop signs meaning a brake booster or vacuum issue. I called and advised them and their first response was it sounds like a new problem. No, that was actually that was the original problem. So I got flim flamed into the easiest solution for them, and for the price it seemed a little high, and more importantly it didn't resolve my issue. These guys are good if you need tires or brakes that day in SF, but I won't return because I am still stuck with my original issue and I have lost faith in them that they are capable of repairing the problem.

All of the employees I have dealt with at this location are professional, informative, and pleasant to deal with. They worked hard at finding out why my car had a vapor leak that was preventing it from passing a smog test. This is my garage now since there's no reason to go anywhere else.

Nail want up to wheel I show up to his location for fixing it and he told me that you need the change the 4 wheel and all the wheel still in good condition and the behavior is very bad how dealing with costumer /I’m very disappointed from his location and his service

I didn’t have a great experience with Firestone. I do believe that they didn’t fix everything. They said they were fixing. And they made the car much much worse than it was before I brought it. I asked them to fix the stuff they recommended, but they did not fix the stuff that I asked him to fix. No, the car is not fixed. Would not recommend you going to Firestone on 11th and Mission.

The team did such a good job on my car! Super appreciate the work and the price. They were communicative and updated me on the status of the car throughout the time it was in the shop. Milton in particular was so wonderful and I felt blessed by his genuine support. I’d hands down take my car here over and over and over again. Can’t recommend this team enough!

So I brought my car for simple auto change. I was quoted to price which turned out to be wrong as it was more expensive when I was there in person and then I asked how long it would be in a couple hours. I came back to check on my car Had ordered erroneously an oil filter for different model car than my car didn’t have an oil filter for it holding things up and causing. I realize Mercedes-Benz 230 is not the same as CLK 320 these are supposed to know the difference and lack of my time isn’t this funny

I was helped by Milton. He was top tier in efficiency. Ive been extremely stressed about the state my vehicle was in but his professionalism and calm demeanor eased all of my anxiety. Although Firestone was unable to perform the repairs on my engine he gave me all the steps to find a place that could. Because he informed me that i was completely covered for repair cost, i was able to recognize when a shop was trying to get me to pay out of pocket. I truly appreciate Milton. He deserves a huge bonus. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to have any other necessities done. Thank you!!
