I went to Firestone because it was very close to my home and I wanted to make them quickly .I arrived there at 7:40 AM for a flat tire. The hole on the tires was marked with a chalk already From previous day. My tires repairs takes over one hour, and I start waiting to get my car which already repaired and part in front of the fire stone. That was one person working at front desk and he was giving service to another customer I need to so long. They also called me to inform my car is ready when I was waiting at front desk. When I said I’m waiting for my car already repaired they said I need to wait because the service people didn’t handover the keys yet. After they completed giving service to other customers, they bring my keys and get the payment. So I spent one hours and 45 minutes totally, Tire repair cost is $31. It is almost 3 times of Costco price. no restoroom as well.

I brought my vehicle into this location 45 minutes ahead of time. It's a simple ac recharge covered by warranty program. They claimed they sent in the claim and I would have to wait till 3-330 from before ten am. I called the warranty company and was advised no one made a claim. She kept me on hold called the location and received information. Some people are lazy and ignorant. Won't be coming here again. Absolutely a circus wat to go Firestone. Do Better

One of the employees stated the store would be open at 7 AM. I went there at 7:20 AM to get my car before work, and no one was there. There was even another customer waiting outside. Also, just as an update... I tired them out again, and their customer service just sucks. They treat you like you dont know anything. Just go to one of the many other firestones. El Cajon's is great! The people there are so kind and work with you! Same with the one off of Lake Murry.

My sister went in to get an oil change and they absolutely ruined her tires backing the car off the lift. There is extremely visible damage and they claim there is no damage to the tire. Immediately after leaving the tires went flat and their claim was the valve cores were loose? Not only did they not fix the tires they ruined but they ruined the warranty on the tire "fixing" it. This store needs to be investigated by the better Business bureau for whatever else they're scamming or stealing from customers. Outrageous to say this tire isn't damaged at all when the entire sidewall has been compromised. Outright lying and refusing to fix their mistake. Update: management was contacted and they said they'd do an "investigation" and only asked the manager if he did it. Manager said no and no further investigation was done. Even corporate management has no care for damage they do to your vehicle I will be contacting OSHA along with several other organizations like better Business bureau for their scamming and unethical business practices at this specific location

Absolutely horrible and negligent. Prior to driving on a cross country trip, they replaced the battery yet neglected to reconnect the water pump. The engine overheated and left me stranded. No accountability, won't return calls.

I have had good experience with Firestore at Convoy Location but terrible experience (not once but twice) at the linda vista location . After my second service, I noticed the leather on driver seat has a sharp cut (I did not bother wasting my time telling them but when I was picking up my car there was another gentleman who was picking up his car and had walked up to me and asked me to make sure to check my car since this location is notorious for leaving scuff marks on your car). This place has also lost any credibility - among the list of services they had recommended I do, one of them was to replace the cabin air filter (filter cost of $30 and labor cost for it of $29). Unfortunately for them, they didn't know I had already replaced the cabin air filter merely a month before. Once i noticed that, I just refused any of their other recommended services.

Did the auto inspection for 9.99 and learned a lot about what needs to be done. Took a while since there was a lot to do....But very useful to decide next repairs.

Not ideal. Long waits and mediocre work for premium prices. Took in my 1999 Dodge Dakota in for a Spark Plug Misfire because this place is right next door. I was given a time estimate of 2 hours. 4 hours later, I was told they couldn't find the misfire. They only checked 'Some' of the spark plugs, because the others are hard to get to and they don't really 'Do' engines, despite it being advertised. They did give me a discount for not following through. But I ended up taking my business to Morena Automotive and have been ever since.

We had our GMC Denali serviced by Fernando and his team. They really did a great job helping us out after it unfortunately broke down. They stayed open late to diagnose the issue and then explained what we needed. William drove us to our hotel so we didn’t have to call an Uber. Both employees friendly and knowledgeable about our SUVs electrical equipment. Everything was fixed the next day by 1pm and communication was great.

Fernando provided below acceptable service from the time my car was dropped off. I called Tuesday morning, October 8th. I arranged to have my battery replaced when my 2012 Dodge Journey was towed in, eta 9 am. I asked if he needed anything else from me or would the begin work when my car arrived. He assured me that I did not need to call back and that my car would be ready by noon that day. I called at noon - no answer. I called at 1 pm - no answer. I called at 1:15 pm no answer. I called at 1:30 pm - no answer. At 1:45, I finally got Fernando on the phone again. He assured my that my car would be ready at 2 pm. I arrived precisely at 2 pm and paid for my service. Then, I did not receive my car for another 45 MINUTES!!!!!! This caused me to miss my next appointment, which was an expensive loss for me. I learned from the other guy working that Fernando didn't tell anyone what to do when my car was dropped off and they didn't begin working on it until 1:45 pm. Unacceptable!

Sorry but my experience was frustrating. I dropped my car off around 11AM. They told they'll probably have it fixed around 3PM. They don't call me, so I finally call at 5PM (1 hour before close) and they tell me that the problem I'm having with my car is something they cannot fix. So they knowingly held onto my car all day without telling me it won't be touched. Now I have to find somewhere to tow it to but everything is closed and now it's the weekend. They also told me the car is stuttering when braking, which is not something that was a problem. I trust them, however, and I have it towed since that seems like it isn't safe to drive. The next shop tests it and finds absolutely nothing wrong with the braking. The new shop I took my car to showed me the paperwork pointing out that on the last page it says I "denied an oil change" which isn't true, as no one asked me for an oil change nor pointed out that the oil needed changing. There was zero discussion about an oil change. I won't be going back here. Holding onto a car they know they can't fix is problematic enough, along with the mystery issues other shops disagree with, claiming I denied services I didn't deny... All one can think is that on some level they may have mixed me up with another customer?

Got my battery changed, which took all of 30 minutes and was charged $292. Seems like a gross overcharge. Left me feeling very scammed.

I tried different Firestone shops, this is by far the best. Always resolved my car issues fast and Mike and Jason customer service is great.

I was at the mall and ran over a screw and our spare was low on air on top of that. We luckily were parked right across the street from here, ran over and told them what was going on, and they were able to patch our tire super quickly on last notice. I believe it was Mike and Jason that helped us, but overall great experience and thank you so much for the last minute help!!

My First visit to the Firestone store , My front tires on the Right front worn down on outer edges there was 3/32 tire tread left at wear bar My left front tire had 4/32 tire tread left with a little bit wear starting on the outer edges, Discount tire suggested that I get my alignment repair done,I took my truck to Firestone and they said that my front left suspension was off but the right side was perfect, So I had them do the front alignment and also replaced the front tires with new 245/75/16 Surefire tires , When all the work was done. I drove home, I looked at the dot date which showed mfg Date the tire was made , And it had last years date 2023 ,I called there office and explained to them that I paid for new tires , I expect to have brand New tires installed, The Man said to come back Monday, I told him I couldn't come Monday but I could come Tuesday, So on Tuesday I drove to the Firestone (2nd Trip) on friars road mission valley and I explained to man behind the counter I wanted brand new tires With 2024 date stamped on the Dot date oval imprint on the side wall by the steel rim , The counter person Shop Manager asked if I was okay with tire's that where manufactured early 2024 ,I said yes that I would be happy with those , He said I needed to come back Wednesday and speak to the General manager, about replacing my front tires with newer dated 2024 245/75/16 Tires Surefires I spoke to the General manager and we made the appointment on Friday at 10:00 am , Friday morning I drove there again my third trip I was early to my appointment at Firestone 8:30 am , I Spoke with the General manager at desk and added another Tire repair and added road hazard to my ticket, I was the 2nd or third person there waiting to get my truck fixed. Around 10:30 I went for awalk around the shop looking for my truck if they started to work on it , It's still parked in the same spot, So I went for another short walk around, I came back to there shop to find my truck had been moved into the bay , So I was under the impression it was going to get done soon, So around 11:30 I walked back to my truck to see if its done , Nope !!!! I approached the service manager desk , I explained to him that I had been waiting for 3 hours , That I have some other appointments that I need to get done today and he asked if I would want to take my truck and go get my things done . I said no I would rather get the tires done, Then he said that his mechanic is going to get started on replacing the front tires and the add on tire, rim swap . Within a hour it was all done, They sent me message saying it was finished, I paid the tire technician $20 and paid my bill and drove away thinking I had my front tires replaced with 2024 newer tires, At my home I looked at the front tires to find that they didn't put on the 2024 tires that they told me that they would put on my truck, The General Manager, Gave me some B. S story about the warranty on the tires , I told him him I wanted my old tires put back on my truck and return the tires that where not brand new and return my money back so I can go to Discount tire where there's no scandalous talk and action speaks loudly going on, Customer gets 2024 tires installed when you buy new tires from them, Verse Firestone

While visiting San Diego I needed a repair done that couldn’t wait until I got home. The guys at Firestone were awesome. They were up front with what was needed, gave a fair price and did a great job. It’s nice to find a mechanic when you need one.

Made an appointment for 5:30 got there earlier and said they don't take cars anymore they said we need the car before 4 I'm like why have online appointments from 4:30 and up and they so no when we get there , glad I found a different company to go to

I rarely write reviews. This place takes a literal lifetime to change a tire god knows how long it takes for anything else. Came in at 7a for a flat. Was told 3.5 hrs later it can't be plugged and needs replacement, they could have literally told me that ages ago. Over 1 hr to change a friggin tire because I contacted them first for a follow up. Won't ever return, the laziness and sheer speed they move out makes a snail look amazingly fast. Prior reviews are accurate. Avoid.

I'd give them zero stars if possible! got there 15 minutes early for my appointment for an oil change and inspection. After an hour and 15 minutes I looked and my car was still sitting where I parked it! it never even made it to the back!!! I was so upset I got my keys to leave and the guy couldn't care LESS!!! 4 other customers were saying they had the same problem, and they were there BEFORE me! and 1 of them said they really don't care... NEVER going there again. Now I have to drive further to get my car done, but at least itll get done!.

Jason and the Firestone crew were unbelievable. I had an issue on a Saturday close to their closing time, they were able to help me and let me drop my car and create a plan to get it fixed. I received a ton of communication and updates. The car was fixed shortly after and I'm so grateful, will come back for any other issues.

Visited the store yesterday and got 4 new tires put on my vehicle. They did a good job! Prices are fair and took about 2 hours with my appointment (booked online -- I recommend). Knowledgeable and respectful staff members.

Went in to get a single tire replaced, scheduled an appointment, and after 40 minutes of waiting I look in the service bay to see my cars hood up. 'Courtesy check' was their explanation. I didn't request this and I wasn't told about it. Don't waste my time to try and upsell me. Now I'm late to my appointment.
