Absolutely the rudest lady working behind the counter at Firestone PQ, combative, rude and unprofessional. I took my mom's car in to check on a slow charging battery that was still under Firestone warranty. She immediately started accusing us of not properly maintaining the battery??? In addition, she was going to charge us to test the battery. Seriously? I was also going to have them look at one of the tire pressure sensors in one of the tires, as the TPM system had triggered a light on her dash. Her response was "don't worry about it, unless of course you were looking to replace your tires today". I asked her again to just give me a price to replace a tire sensor. Without even looking it up, she says, "those things are $150 for the sensor alone with a labor charge on top of that. I don't recommend it". Totally unprofessional, and probably a safety issue to be recommending to a customer to ignore the problem altogether. We decided to leave without any work being done. I took the car to Discount Tire, down the road for a second opinion. They ended up replacing the sensor for $83 including parts labor and taxes! I ended up swapping out the battery myself (even though it was still under Firestone warranty for another 3 months). Thank you AutoZone for the great price and great service. Bottom line, I'm glad I didn't let these jokers touch my mom's car! Discount Tire is just down the road with cheaper prices and a professionally trained staff. I'd start with them, before EVER returning to these guys.

Worst service ever had. I would give 0 if allowed. Had lifetime alignment but never had a single alignment service with them, because they always come up with an excuse of not doing it unless bundled with some other paid service. This time the excuse was my engine has sound. How is it related to alignment service? In fact, I don't think the engine has sound. --- Thanks for the response. We have been with you for years because you are close to home. We'd say many times in the past we are not very satisfied with your service as you tend to either upsell us services or replace tires/batteries we think were still good. We've been keeping quiet till today... We'd like to see your ratings going up before giving you a try again.

Firestone has a great asset in Amy Baker. I have never met a more personable, knowledgeable and experienced Store Manager whom takes the time to explain in detail the needs and future maintenance of my vehicle. I am so grateful 🙏 to have met Amy at the Firestone store in Rancho Penasquitos. She has provided exceptional service whom truly cares and wants you to take care of your vehicle to ensure it stays in top running shape. I made an appointment in advance at 10:00 at the checkout. They said I'd have to wait 2-3 hours until they checked the air conditioner. What's the point of making an appointment if they're putting me on hold.

The appointment time was very quick, but it was disappointing to learn balancing my Firestone tires is now an additional $60+... That aside the real "satisfaction survey subtracter" was shortly after leaving Firestone, hearing a grinding sound coming from underneath the vehicle (thinking did my CV shaft just drop) but being unable to pull over safely, continued a little bit. The grinding abruptly stopped and as I looked back I saw the large plumber's wrench which fell out from under my vehicle. Don't know what's more disappointing, finding tools left behind in precarious locations in vehicles or seeing plumber's wrenches used instead of appropriately sized sockets. Upcharge for wheel balancing + (wrong) tool left behind in steering components - not confidence or loyalty inspiring.

I cannot speak for all locations, but do not come here for anything to do with your tires. The lady that answered the phone started off the conversation making assumptions. I don’t know if it’s the same individual, but I did not appreciate the attitude coming from the lady at the front desk. I came in with a leaking tire and they were telling me that my tire might be too old to patch, and the nail was too close to the edge of the tire. They told me to go to another location for a tire replacement or to come in later that day after ordering a new tire that didn’t match the rest of my tires. I told her to order the tire and book me for a tire replacement. I left and called discount tire right down the road to see if they would be willing to patch the tire and they said to come on by. The gentleman that greeted me was a very nice individual and was very clear when asking and giving information about my car. Discount tire said my tire tread was at 5/32 While fire stone said it was only at 2/32. Discount tire said they could patch it no problem and got me out of there in 20 minutes. All fire stone does is try to upsell you and get more money out of you. DO NOT GO TO FIRESTONE IN RANCHO PEÑASQUITOS!

I have gone to Firestone in black mountain road a few times just for checking air in tires. Amy and the other guys were so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. They checked the air without any charge. Thank you Firestone your works are Rock!

I've used Firestone for the 25 years I've lived in San Diego. 20 years with the Mira Mesa store and then the PQ. The male manager used to be great, but now the female mgr isn't very friendly and isn't interested in helping customers. 3rd time she rubbed me wrong. Third strike. Moving my business elsewhere.

Unable to fix the dealer proprietary component issues with wheel lock for tire rotation and area covering the spark plugs but was thorough with the diagnostic and communication of the issues. Would go back for future auto service.
