I’m not completely satisfied with the service I received here. It seems as if they were trying to up sale me for no reason. A gentleman called me to notify me that I’d need an oil changed… when I received an oil change there in late November and completely under the mileage, once I told him this he complete moved on to the next service which leads me to believe these people have no real idea what my car actually needs, they’re just trying to sale. Then he wanted establish the expectation that the total cost for my repairs would be around 3015, when I picked up my vehicle the price was 3185. As well as the front desk really couldn’t explain why my O2 sensors had to be change along with my catalytic converter. Ive had it changed once before and the technician before said nothing about the O2 sensors. I don’t fully trust this staff anymore and kind of regret getting my repairs done here. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. Please make sure you guys listen carefully to what they’re saying and to write down who you spoke to and what expectation was established. I was so heated leaving this store. But of course my words didn’t mean anything because I had no proof.

Informative over the phone, answered all of my questions before I went to the location. When I got there the service was quick. The alignment came out perfect on my truck.

Horrible service to just get fluids checked for my radiator to see what was wrong with it quoted us 1500 and we decided to go with someone else so when we tell the front desk older man he seems to be upset. And informs my mother that it will be another 30 to 40 mins till we get our vehicle back after its been checked? Like make it make sense this is simply out of spite of us not going with the price after my vehicle has been here since 8am it is now 12:53 and still want us to wait 30 to 40 mins for a fluid check and diagnostic? Unbelievable very spiteful place and over priced crooked operations

Went to firestone on 10851 Bandera and it’s always excuses. Last time they (store manager)claimed they were not able to adjust alignment on drivers side because seized outer tie rod and needed to be replaced (I have the lifetime alignment so Firestone only touches my suspension ). I took my vehicle to a different Firestone (Babcock)and they were able to adjust it with no excuses. I think the bandera location needs more training or at least a direct line to the Babcock location on how to do alignments and help customers without trying to fool them into paying more. It’s concerning because a lot of your customers are elderly and it would be easy for them to be take advantage of. As I was waiting one elderly couple were discussing they had to repurchase tires because the last tech put the wrong size tires. Thanks again to Firestone on Babcock for ethical and knowledgeable service.

Took my truck in for an alignment and they did an awesome job. They diagnosed a problem I had been having with the front suspension. They saw me right away and everyone has been a pleasure dealing with. Highly recommend.

Was charged $90 for diagnostic after my radiator overheated. Was told I likely had a leaking head gasket that would potentially need to be replaced that could cost as much as 4k. I decided to take my car to get scrapped, as it’s quite old and not worth a repair that costly. I am NOT a mechanic, but took it upon myself to look for the problem seeing as how the car was done for anyway. Found the leak in less than 20 minutes, replaced the part for $50. Car is back to normal. Giving two stars because they were kind enough to refund part of the diagnostic. Part of it…. Again, i am not a mechanic, but if i was able to fix this with such ease, Firestone should have been able to as well.

At 9am called and set an appointment for 4:30. Blown tire the night before, took the day off. I was promised that they would have the tires I needed delivered. Got there and behold, they never delivered them. Not any brand to fit my car. It's not any sort of special tire. It's a tire shop without tires that can't follow through.

Took my car in to get fixed due to coolant overheating issues not even a day after they had “fixed it” issues started back up mind u i paid 1200 for this procedure and was told i had a 12 month guaranty yet when i called to let them know the problem they told me there would most likely be an additional charge don’t go to these scammers.

Had a great experience here when I got 2 tires replaced, the dudes I encountered were like my buds at work - professional and probably get down with the chicks they work with , the counter younger associate invited me to some a swinger’s night next weekend so hell yeah. My truck has been running perfect and I can blow off some steam, 5-star!

I went to the effort to make an appointment for an alignment in a hope that I would not have to spend hours waiting for my vehicle to be completed. I arrived at the appointed hour and was told that they would get to my truck as quickly as possible. However, after waiting for over 1.5 hours, I finally went back to the counter and asked when they planned to get to the appointment that was now over 1.5 hours old. They finally moved my truck in at about the 2 hour wait mark. Fortunately, it only took about 35-40 minutes for them to complete the alignment. However, the afternoon was completely wasted in my eyes since I spent three hours plus in waiting after going through the effort to make an appointment and having it confirmed,

This is based solely on the past and present. Giving a 7 rating is being generous. This location, employees seemed to exude unwillingness and unwelcoming attitude. I’ve noticed this not only through my personal interactions but with other patrons visiting. I will exclude the maintenance technicians, this is solely directed at the customer client service agents at the counter and management. My first (past) impression was not pleasant and my second (recent) just confirms my overall feeling about this establishment. Unfortunate, this location is beneficial and convenient to my residence. I will seek other locations that provide a more welcoming environment. If the experience is identical then the clear choice……..seek out competitors.

Visited the store on Sunday around 410pm. As I walked in to location I asked the Firestone Rep if they would please look at my tire and I let her know that I picked up a nail. I was immediately told, "well we close at 5pm we won't have time to do that". I was completely shocked and confused. I let her know that I had purchased tires from Firestone and have the road hazard warranty on the tires. She still came its already going to be 5pm. I then asked her if I could borrow some shade near one of the bays to change the tire? At the end I asked her well would it be to much to ask to at least put my spare on? She mentioned it to one of the Firestone service technicians and he gladly changed the tire. This is the second time that I have visited a Firestone location and have not had a good experience. I would not send a recommendation to anyone to visit this store in particular.
