Brian and his crew are absolutely the best. Sunday was a very hot day and working in a garage without air is really hard especially in Mesa Arizona. These guys really needed hazardous pay. Brian and Brett were the only 2 working on cars and they did such a great job for everyone. Jarin was doing a great job manning the phones. Hopefully the AC gets fixed soon. Brandon did a great job on my hubby car

Fantastic customer service, kind employees, quick turn around time, and great overall efficiency! After a poor experience with a nearby Discount Tire, I brought my car to Firestone for a tire repair (due to a nail). I would rather pay Firestone for tire repair than deal with Discount any day. Thank you Firestone!

By far the most frustrating and disappointing experience dealing with car service in my life≥ I had my oil changed and the day after there was a puddle of oil in my driveway. The oil filter was put on wrong. I returned to have it fixed and was not apologized to, no one took accountability, they seemed to brush it off as if it happens all the time and then blamed my car for having "strange seals on that year vehicle". Not sure if you know what happens to a car if you start it and there's no oil....but it's a bit more than "oops". So their negligence could've destroyed my engine but stuff happens and I moved on. The recent experience was getting new tires. First, I was quoted on the phone for a much cheaper price but when I got to the store he said those tires actually wouldn't fit my car, so we would have to go another route. Fine, I just wanted new tires so whatever works. Later that day I called to ask the status of the car and the person on the phone was like "oh yeah, your car is ready". Absolutely no professionalism to even call and let me know when it was done. A few days later when I happen to be driving with my windows down I hear this weird wobbling/scratching sound. One of the tires was installed improperly and rubbed the brake caliper and I also noticed they did not put valve caps on the new tires. I called ahead and took it in to have them fix THEIR mistake, my car was there from 3pm-6:55pm and they never called. I called them because I couldn't afford to have them keep my car overnight and was told they "couldn't get to it". When I got to the store to pick up the car, I said I'm here for the Chevy Cruze, the guy behind the counter didn't say a word, went to their envelopes and slid the key on the counter. Regardless of the situation or me calling ahead, I think verifying WHO is picking up a car is kind of the absolute baseline of customer service when we're handing over someones car... So the next day I called AGAIN and was told to bring it back, this time they blamed the wheels on my car and said they had to use a different type of weight. Again took zero accountability, no apology, and no acknowledgement of now 5 separate trips to fix what they messed up. I also want to add that we have a firestone credit card and live less than 2 miles from this location. But there is ZERO CHANCE I will ever return to this place. As far as businesses go, having auto "CARE" in the name is a joke. No respect for me as a person, for my time, and no accountability from any employee. I hate writing negative reviews but I hope people read this and stay far away from this place.

I needed a new battery on the work Truck and I stopped at Firestone on 1239 W Guadalupe rd Mesa Az 85202 and Brian Bilger The Service Manager was awesome. He knew I was in my lunch break and didn’t have much time so he hopped on it right away and got me back on the Road in no Time. Thank you Brian and your Crew for The Great Service and Good Customer Service. If anyone looking for a new battery or any car services I Highly recommend Firestone on AlmaSchool And Guadalupe. They have great service and good customer service and will Help you out in anything your Vehicle needs. No place should take an hour for an oil change than ignore the fact your car is done and parked in front while you pace waiting to be checked out. Then have to request a check out. The customer service huy up front doesn't care about customers time. I wasn't the only one waiting to long for an oil change eigther

The guys at Firestone were knowledgeable, and friendly and they did the job right. I will be using their services in the future and I recommend them to anyone who needs work or maintenance done on their car and wants it done right.

This place use to be great and trust worthy. After today, not sure I will be back. After dropping off my car, I was sent an email saying my control arm bushing were bad and needed to be replaced. Then my boyfriend goes in to pick up my car and asks about it and he is told oh ya they aren’t that bad. Definitely a place I will think twice about going to since females are treated so differently.

Had to have a week of work done in my car, Brian and Austin were super helpful and transparent throughout the entire process. Made it a lot less stressful. I would drive an hour to come to this Firestone over going to the one by my house!

This location is absolutely disappointing. I worked for Firestone in Michigan, and I am shocked by the difference in how this store is operated. 1. Management is practically non-existent. 2. Employees often sit around and chat while work orders pile up. 3. Several employees were listening to offensive rap music during lunch in the customer waiting area, when lunches should’ve been staggered to keep up with the claimed backlog. 4. My appointment was set for 2:00 pm, but my vehicle wasn’t brought into a bay until 20 minutes later, despite there being at least 3-4 empty bays available. I came in for a simple flat repair, which should have taken 30 minutes at most, but I didn’t leave until 3:30 pm—a full 1.5 hours after my appointment—only to find out it was just a valve replacement. This location feels unprofessional, the employees appear lazy, and management seems ineffective.

Brian told me my car would be done in 2-3 hrs. This was at 10:00am on Sunday 9/29/24. I said, “really?!” He said yes, it should about 12:00 or around that time. I called at 1:00pm and they said it was going to be at least another two hours. At 3:15 they called me as they were starting to work on my car because I have them the wrong key fob. I came right over and gave them the right one. The vehicle was not ready until 5:40pm, 5+ hrs after the estimated time. It would have been professional to tell me up front that it could much longer since I was a walk in, rather than be dishonest about the time frame. And a phone could have been made to me at some point indicating that the time frame had changed. Staff needs to improve on customer communication and honesty.

We were passing through Mesa a couple of days ago when the alternator went out on our 2006 Sprinter RV. It was Saturday afternoon, and 114 degrees, and we thought we'd be stuck for days. These guys said "no problem," found us a new alternator, and had us back on the road in a few hours. They were courteous, professional, and reassuring. They went above and beyond to get us back on the road, especially considering that the first alternator they received was defective, and they had to pull it out and do the job twice! The mechanic said "I'll take on anything" and they had us back on the road faster than we could have hoped. These guys are excellent. I don't live in the area, but if I did, they'd be my go-to shop.

Unlike the 5 star first time I visited here, this time needed improvement. When I arrived for appointment the person at the counter was on a personal phone not business phone. Didn't acknowledge me for several minutes. It was after he got off his call. I would been more understanding had this been or appeared to be customer related. Secondly, after the repairs were done same person said once test drive was completed I would be on my way. The technician and another technician were talking to the counter person about another customer where there had been an issue. The technician had my keys in his hand. They even left the counter area to go to a corner and continue their conversation. For more than 5 minutes this went on without returning my keys. As an Uber driver, customer service, safety and timeliness are paramount to them and myself. I would have preferred to have done it on the weekend but sometimes business can be busy. This is why I made an appointment.

CRASHED MY VEHICLE AND TRIED TO CHALLENGE A PHYSICAL ALTERCATION. I visited the Firestone location on Alma School for a simple oil change, with an appointment set for 1 PM. Unfortunately, we didn’t get our vehicle back until 5 PM due to an employee accidentally crashing into a shelving unit exploding one of the tires. Despite waiting several hours, we received no update on the status of our vehicle. When I finally called about 330pm I was met with an unapologetic employee who informed me of the damage and stated they would replace the tire with a Firestone brand. I insisted that both front tires should match and requested a Goodyear tire, as originally fitted. The employee claimed he had no authority to make that decision and suggested I return the next day to speak with the manager. This delay was particularly problematic as my family and I were preparing for a trip to San Diego, and I was concerned about driving with mismatched tires. When we arrived to pick up the car at 4:30 PM, the vehicle was still not ready. The staff member, who claimed to be the manager, displayed a condescending attitude, suggesting we should be "grateful" for receiving a supposedly superior Firestone tire. Despite our objections, they refused to replace the tire with a Goodyear, as it needed to be ordered. Throughout this ordeal, there was no apology from any staff members. The supposed manager acted aggressively, trying to provoke a physical altercation with my husband. He denied responsibility for the damage and insisted we pay for the service. I refused to pay until our vehicle was restored to its original condition. This “manager” strutted around behind the counter with a smirk on his face, and acted like dumb teenager dealing with overactive hormones or a steroid raged mindless fool. His pompous attitude and unprofessional attitude must have been very embarrassing for the store and displaying this behavior in front of other patrons was even more disturbing. Finally, my husband checked the vehicle before we left and overheard the manager using obscene language about us when he thought I wasn’t around. We left with the mismatched Firestone tire and were told to return later for a proper replacement. The actual store manager scheduled a tire change, but it couldn't be done for a week as we were leaving town. During our trip, the replacement tire had to be refilled three times, and our SUV pulled to one side the entire time, causing us to worry about further damage. The employee we dealt with was unprofessional, and his behavior was unacceptable. Firestone used to have a good reputation, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. I would get better service from my 14-year-old neighbor working on my vehicle. I hope the employee in question was held accountable for his actions. This experience has left me embarrassed for this store and disappointed in the level of service provided.

I have been going here at this location for several years, they have always been upfront and honest with me and not tried to sell me something I did not need, like my dealership has done I trust them and Bryan, Austin and others have always been helpful and worked with me.

These guys are terrible. I needed a specific part changed to clear a check engine light. They insisted on running their diagnostic. They refused to change my part and charged me for the diagnostic. A mobile repair guy changed the part I needed and cleared the light for the same price Firestone charged to do nothing.
