I recently had $2,800 worth of work done that took over a month, so I had to rent a vehicle while my vehicle was being serviced. When I finally picked it up before I can get home my warning light was on. I took it back up to Firestone Mentor and after having my vehicle for two more weeks they told me I now need to get more work done and it will cost me $464.00 before tax. This happens every time! I ask for brakes all the way around, they do the front or back! It’s next to impossible to get quality work done here and I always feel cheated. A lot of ppl get work done here only because of the location convince. Avoid this place it’s not worth the hassle!

We asked if Roadside assistance was added to our tire purchase and we're told by Chris no, when asked if it would be added at 6:15, Matt just kept saying, "I don't know.". We asked him if we could get it added later he kept saying "I don't know." We asked if we should wait to pick up the vehicle the next day or what we should do, again with the "I don't know", he just kept answering with the same "I don't know" phrase even when we asked him to check the previous purchase the code wasn't there or what we should do about picking up our van. In frustration we asked for Bob or Nate and we're told they weren't there. We asked him to call another store or someone to ask for an answer. He finally called us back to say he figured it out. The final reason for the poor rating is that he stated when we picked up the van that he didn't appreciate our asking for Bob or Nate, that it was an "ignorant" response. I paid almost $700 on a piece that I didn't even need replacing, and the issue was still persisting. I now have my vehicle in willoughby, and i'm having the same issue three days in the shop and they still haven't fixed it yet. If I could give them 0 I would. Please be careful out there customers ...times are tough and they like to charge for things and keep your vehicle hostage

Friendly staff, got a nail in tire on way home, they got it patched and made sure all 4 tires were filled in less than 45 minutes even though they were closing within the hour. Will be back

They were efficient, friendly and professional. I had just brought in for a pile change and asked if I could schedule a day next week for tire rotation? I was told if I wanted why bring it back? If you want we can do today? I was told I’d be out in an hour - exactly 1 hour later I was driving g away. I will have my brakes replaced there in the spring g - my new place for oil change and tire rotation - all things for my car.

I wouldn’t recommend this place! They messed up twice and after giving them the benefit of the doubt they still messed up. They have you make an appointment but don’t take your car in until 8 hours later. Then for them to tell me they don’t even have my tires. Why don’t they check inventory before accepting the car!!!! Don’t waste your time!!

This location is absolutely amazing!!! Anytime I have ever needed a repair done they go above and beyond!! I can’t thank Nate, Chris, Kelsie enough for their help!!! I appreciate everyone at Firestone and trust them wholeheartedly with my car!!! Thank you all!!!!

I've been to Firestone just a few times and each time everyone is kind and friendly and does a superior job. I also have never felt taken advantage of. Prices and workmanship are great. I highly recommend Firestone and this location in Mentor, Ohio. Thank you!

This is the 4th set of tires i’ve had mounted at this location. They’ve done a great job each time and the alignment they did on my XC90 was better than what the Volvo dealer did for me last time i had it done. Highly recommend them.

I had an oil change and tire rotation today…. When I got the car and went back happily, I doubted whether they had swapped the tires for me. I called the staff to confirm whether they had done so. His answer was yes.. Because I scraped the road two days ago... the mark was on the rear wheel... if it was switched, the mark would be on the front wheel... so I know they might have forgotten.. I drove back and rotated the tires…My small complaint today is not about anything else... it's about your attitude... you didn't even say sorry…Making mistakes is not scary...but the attitude towards making mistakes…Hope you are getting better and better... I will never get ties through my dealer again. These guys are top-notch. One year after getting tires, they provided a pressure sensor fix for free. Even though I waited a year (procrastinator issues) to bring it in, they honored the issue. I also highly recommend their warranty package when you get new tires. I ran over a roofing nail, and the fix was free. They are my new place for regular maintenance on my vehicle. Kudos to the expert techs and the expert customer service.

This place was close to my hotel when I was in out of town. I have a fleet vehicle that I took there for a simple oil change and a rotation if they thought it needed it. I also asked them a couple times to secure or remove something that was hanging down in the front while it was on the lift. Do you think they removed/secured that piece? Nope. Do you think they reset my oil light? Nope. Do you think they used a floor mat so they didn't get their greasy feet all over my light grey interior? Not at all. Could they manage to push the upsell upsell upsell? Of course they did, like good little robots. When I asked the service manager(?) why they didn't use a floor mat, his response was "there's no firestones that use floor mats". What??? What??? How stupid of an answer seriously. I can buy floor mats for $20 for a 100 pack off Amazon!!! Wtf..?. Don't waste your time here.

My car broke down driving through Mentor, and long story short I was in a real pickle. However, upon visiting this place I received a really honest and straight up help and advice from two gentleman named Chris, and Eric. Sometimes honesty is what’s most important in an establishment like this, and especially a big shoutout to Chris for really trying his hardest to help me out.

"Complete Auto Care" but only dependant on your vehicle apparently. I booked an appointment online to have a tire internally patched yesterday and received a confirmation email that my appointment was approved. I then received a phone call from someone at the Mentor location a few minutes later stating that they "couldn't work on my car" and that I should just take it to the Porsche dealership... for a tire patch... on a base model Macan with factory wheels and normal tires. I ended up calling NTB down the street and they were able to do it no questions asked in about 30 minutes, saved me a few hundred dollars at the dealership that Firestone suggested.

Customers should be aware of how poorly operated this firestone is. My boyfriends van was towed there, and remained for several days before they looked at it. They had every excuse in the book. Finally after seven days they gave him an estimate of $3200. He was already disgusted, and had it towed to a place in Newbury. They had it for one day, and found a sensor had become disconnected. It was a $200 repair, and the van is fine. Little Joe in Newbury figured it out, but a name like firestone couldn't. I would not recommend them to anyone, and their communication was horrible. He had to call almost everyday to see if they even looked at it.

I arrived at my appointment at 9:00 for an oil change that was scheduled. I finally left when I told them that I had to leave an hour and a half later. I have been going to Firestone for years and I am still highly satisfied.

Originally, I would have given only a 1 star because I was turned away 3 times after having an appointment to get a tire fixed. But I am giving 3 stars because the temporary manager from another store made it right by fixing my tire after I filed a complaint with corporate. He told me that they did not have a store manager for this location. You know the saying, "when the cat is away, the mice will play".

Avoid the his store Wife took our 2022 Honda in for oil change and tire rotation. They gave her an estimate for a brake job for $515 indicated roters grooved rear pads down to four, front pads at 6. Stated they could do the job immediately, she declined. Work order#073461. Next day I took the vehicle to an independent repair shop for a brake inspection with a copy of the Firestone estimate. Four techs, two being master techs inspected the brakes they found and gave me a report with photos, rotors in excellent condition, back pads at 8, front pads at 9. This shop does brake work and would have had the job if needed, they stated no brake work needed or even close. After reading other reviews it appears this is an ongoing problem. Our experience was nothing more that an attempted rip off. Will never go back to this Firestone again. Will report to their corporate office and Better Business Bureau.

Prices are crazy high, staff is always courteous amd they do good work. Probably will look elsewhere for oil changes not paying 150 dollars again .

I arrived at this location yesterday at 6:59 am, they open at 7am. The day before, I rode over glass and blew a tire. After I had the tire replaced by the donut from my vehicle warranty road service,  I went directly to the firestone I passed on the way home but this locations technicians had all left for the day so the next morning I came to the Mentor Ave location since its only 3 miles from where I live.  Though I arrived 1 minute before opening it was 7:13 am and I was forced to sit and watch some man with a greasy ponytail puff clouds of smoke around him with his e cigarette through the glass windows. At 7:15 am, I called the store and was told by a female voice they are running late? The guy with the ponytail then came to unlock the door and immediately disappeared back inside the other part where the cars are repaired.  I quietly waited some more inside the store. When another male customer who looked like him walked in, the guy with the ponytail finally came to the front of the store to assist, saying there were issues with the power which is understable regarding the late opening. So since I was already there, I went first and told him about the tire.  Without asking a single question, he immediately and incredulously says, "So you just want one tire instead of replacing all 4??" And heads out to look at my vehicle.  He comes back in to proceed to tell me I should just replace all 4 since I could mess up the transmission if I don't.  If he had asked, I would have told him that the two front low profile tires had been replaced with brand new tires less than 7000 miles ago and do NOT need replacing! That's why they look pristine.  He could've talked me into replacing both rear tires, but with his attitude, he just talked me out the door after claiming he would order the tire and call me that afternoon when it arrived.  That never happened, btw. He followed me out to my car, and I asked why on earth did you just try and sell me 4 tires?  "it's our store policy",  he snorted.  I got into my vehicle and closed the door preparing leave, but he was still looking at the tire. He then came to my driver door and just snatched it open without so much as a word and wrote down information from my vehicle,  then slammed my car door back and went inside the store, I left. Sir, with the greasy ponytail, you were borderline hostile and rude with your assumptions. I am a repeat customer of firestone, and your service and attitude were awful.
