During a trip to Memphis to do some shopping for prom dresses for my daughter. I hit a pot hole getting off the exit and my tire went flat. After a good samaritan changed my tire. We went to this location Kent was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. They changed my tire as well as I have a lifetime alignment on my car and they aligned it as well. Due to the fact that I had hit a pothole he checked my alignment just in case. I am from Jackson Tn and when I got in the car to home the female tire technician had left me some inspirational words on a sticky note in my car. This truly made me smile as today was a rough day. They made sure we got back home tonight and not stuck in Memphis over night. Thank you all so much for providing service for my family and myself.

I have been taking my vehicles for my business to the Whitten Rd location for 12 years. The staff has always been helpful and they don't try to sell services that I don't need. We purchased a tire and they told us they would call us the next day before 11:00 to tell us when to come for them to install it. Past 11:00 the next day and no call. Called them, and they said we got late and we'll call you within the hour to confirm. 2 hours later, no call. We went there and had to wait for more than an hour again for them to just give us put it on the car. Despite all that waiting, they could not even secure the spare tire back in the trunk!

The gentleman in the front "Andrew" I believe, was world class. He is informative, has great customer service, and is all around an asset to this store and company. This store consistently has great service.

honestly, i can't complain about the repair work at this whitten road location but service is also important and i must comment on yesterday's unusually bad experience. dropped off around 8am. missed their call late afternnoon and no voice mail so i figured nothing critical and arrived about 5:30 to pick up. all i asked for was oil change, rotation and alignment check but car was still on lift with wheels off. usually the advisors are very polite but this particular guy was kinda gruff but no probs...he said they'd called to ask about brakes and i never responded. i did not think that should warrant leaving my car on the lift so i just asked that they get it ready asap. he said they'd get to it but no one really did. there were several guys walking around working on other stuff including the advisor who could've simply zipped the tires back on himself and got me out of there. keep in mind that no one else was waiting at the store like i was at this point. adding insult to injuiry, the advisor was indifferent when i express my concerns after about 20 mins of nothing. maybe 40 mins later they finally put my wheels on but then whipped it around to do the alignment check. OMG! that really hurt. he knew i was ready to go but still did the alignment without even asking me. finally about one hour later they were done after holding me hostage for at least 40 mins of that time. i'll give the technician credit, he put the wheels on and did the alignment in great time but this particular advisor (late afternoon tuesday jan 7) was not helpful, if not downright harmful to the normally good firestone image. the moral of the story is always put the customer first, especially a waiting customer. that advisor was not interested in my needs and i actually think he might have even made my wait longer on purpose - or at least he has no clue how to read customers which is a basic skill for his particular job. i will choose another location and hopefully avoid being subject to that advisor ever again.

I had a slow leak that left me almost flat and I was on my way to a LaterSkatersMemphis charity event. I pulled in, the pumped up the tire, no drama, no "hey buy this," and sent me on my way. I made it on time. This is the type of customer service that gets my attention and can earn my business.

We have two Maseratis, and Firestone is our go-to for anything we can do that does not require the dealership! That being said, sometimes a firestone employee goes above and beyond, and when that happens I always want everyone to know where to go to get the very best service, including customer service and attention - at Firestone Memphis/Raleigh LaGrange, that is Andrew!!

Needed an oil change and my engine cover was loose under my car, they fixed it quickly and the mechanic left me a nice handwritten note to thank me afterwards. Would recommend.

Firestone Complete car care on Whitten Rd. is our preferred location for auto maintenance and repairs. I was there yesterday for an oil chance and other maintenance. It’s so easy to make an appointment, and the staff is great. Excellent customer service, with the best techs and mechanics. The staff takes time to explain all details, and suggestions of what my vehicle needed. It is so worth the drive for this kind of service!

I was informed about the needs and critical situation my tires were in and instructed me what to do if I decided not to take their advice. That made me feel like they were genuinely concerned about my well being and I really appreciated their concern. The manager on duty was Andrew and the customer care guy was Kent. They deserve an applause 👏👏

I took my Toyota Highlander to Firestone located on 1921 Whitten Road in Memphis, TN on June 20, 2024 to have my brakes service and possibly to get new tires. The Technician determine that the vehicle needed new brake pads and rotors on all four wheels and two tires. The cost for the: Car Care Package, Front Brake Job, Rear Brake Job, Brake Fluid Exchange, Bridgestone Tire Package, and Alignment Service cost me $2,020.85 total; less the discounts. I asked the Service Advisor #1 about the pricing. He showed me pricing for new pads and rotors vs new pads and resurfacing the rotors. I choose new pads and rotors. I asked the Service Advisor #1 about what are the brand names of the pads and rotors. He did not know exactly. But he stated that they maybe a non-brand, Qualis, or Adaptive One. Of course, I asked about the pricing of all the parts and tires and made the decision to get what the Technician determine that was “Close to End Of Useful Life”. I also asked about the warranty. Service Advisor #1 stated that the pads are lifetime and will be replace for free. Along the way, I asked Service Advisor #2 what is the warranty on the rotors and he stated “one year”. I observed the Technician on and off while he was servicing my vehicle. The Technician was ready to move the vehicle out of the car stall for completion when the Technician realized that he forgot to place the metal V springs back on the front right brake pads. Of course, he corrected his mistake. I paid the price and drove off to complete other errands and then home. But as I was driving, I was hearing the left front brakes clunking each time I depressed and release the brake pedal. I decided to take the vehicle back to Firestone the next day to have this problem inspected. On June 21, 2024 at 0705 I spoke with Service Advisor #1 at the Firestone located on 1921 Whitten Road in Memphis, TN about the clunking sound that was coming from the left front wheel braking area. The Technician that initially did the brake work also did the “Quality Assurance Inspection”. I observed the Technician performing this inspection. The Technician, from my perspective, performed a thorough disassembly and re-assembly inspection of all the front brake parts. The Technician found no discrepancies on any of the brake parts. The brake was re-assembled and the tire was placed back on and the lug nuts were torque. The Technician then drove my vehicle for 7 minutes, came back and stated to me that “he didn’t hear any clunking sound” but it was determine by the Service Advisor #1 that the pads are faulty. The front left and right brake pads only was changed out to new pads, AKEBONO. The Technician installed the new pads, placed back the tires, torque the lug nuts and did a test drive for 5 minutes. Tasks completed. I drove off and at present, June 23, 2024, I have not heard nor felt any clunking sounds from the front two wheels braking areas. In my opinion, the cost of the front brake pads for $139.99, rear brake pads for $139.99, and the cost of the front brake rotor for $149.99 are overpriced by comparison. In addition, the total cost for labor, $578.13 doesn’t add up in-accordance to what is listed on the Final Invoice. I would like to be recompense if the pricing was in error.

They refused to work on my pickup. I had a coolant leak and had to refill it from a roadside puddle to get it to the shop. Some trash was transferred into the cooling system from the puddle and they would not drain the system, refill it with water, and test it to find the leak. I moved the truck to an independent shop just down the street to test, and they replaced the water pump.

I recently starting going back to this location after a hiatus (had a bad experience a long time ago) and this location is doing a great job and is constantly bustling. Everyone was busy working on something with a constant flow of vehicles the entire time I was waiting on my services to be completed. I have been here 3 times since I started coming back and it's been a very pleasant and relatively quick process each time.
