I came here on a Sunday because me check engine light was flashing. They immediately took care of me and figured out what the problem was. They were very transparent about what should be done and how much it costs. They also checked for other issues with my car that were not related to the problem which initially brought me there. In total I felt like they took care of me very well and the mechanic seemed very competent and reliable about what he was doing. The pricing was also very transparent and fair. An especial shout-out and thanks to Peggy who worked worked at the counter and was very nice and so helpful all around! She made the time I had to wait feel pleasant and enjoyable! Thanks!

We were driving from Louisville to Temple Texas on Sunday Jan 6th when our battery light went on 40 miles east of Memphis. Our car could stall if this wasn't addressed right away, and we called the Firestone on Madison Ave. Peggy understood the urgency of the situation and made an appointment for us the same day. It turns out we needed a new alternator. It was installed and we made it safely to Temple. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were able to bring our little dog into the waiting area. Many thanks to Peggy and the mechanics who installed the alternator!

The wait time was absolutely ridiculous. I made an appointment online for 2pm yesterday night for a wheel alignment after getting a wheel bearing put on . I waited for the confirmation email and I got the confirmation at 7:04am that my appointment would be at 2p. I drop my vehicle off around 1:15pm. I call the store at 3:36pm and check the status of my vehicle because I have to pick my babies up from school by 5:30pm and have to return back to work. When the call is answered by Gary, I'm told that they are down 2 technicians, and that it shouldn't be too long before my vehicle is serviced. Okay. So then I call again at 4:56pm because I haven't heard anything yet. I let the lady who answers know that it is getting dark and I would have to walk to get my vehicle and I need to know what time it would be ready. I was told to go ahead and start walking because she didn't want me walking in the dark. At this point, I have to make arrangements for someone else to pick my kids up. I get to the building around 5:33pm, my vehicle is still not serviced. They were just pulling it into the bay. My vehicle is finally ready at 6:03pm, after closing time. Now, I'm told that my wheel is still cocked to the right and I explain that before the work was done yesterday, it was not like that and the mechanic said that I would need a wheel alignment. I'm then told that sometimes the machine can be incorrect and offered to put my vehicle back in the air for another wheel alignment and for it to be checked again, absolutely not. I express my disappointment and how much this was an inconvenience to me, only to be talked over several times and told that even though I made an appointment online and it was confirmed, that doesn't mean that the appointment was guaranteed for that time. I tell her that if that was the case, my appointment should have never been confirmed and I should have been told hours ahead of time that my car would not be serviced until hours after my appointment. I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere or rescheduled because it makes absolutely no sense that my vehicle sat out for 3 1/2 hours for a 30 minute job and I was inconvenienced in the way that I was. This was an ridiculous experience that could have been completely avoided if there was better communication. I have went to other firestones and never received this type of service or lack of communication.

I highly recommend getting your car serviced here. We came in right before close with a flat tire and would’ve been stranded without their help, and Gary and Tim went above and beyond to be sure we were able to get back home safely. Thank you Firestone for your incredible customer service!

I scheduled an appointment for 7:30am. Dropped my car off and was told it would be done no later than 12. By 2 I received no call and was then told they were pulling my car into the garage. Went at 3:30 and my car was still sitting in the same spot I left it at 7:30.. they finally pulled it into the garage at 4 and I waited 45min for them to give me an oil change. Overall horrible experience!

I went in with what I thought was a tire puncture and was actually a broken rim. Gary and Tim went above and beyond to get me back on the road at the lowest possible price. I'll definitely go back.

I have been here for 5 hours now, for a flat tire. I was given an appointment of 9. Had someone come late and still was serviced before me. The manager is sitting on his tail talking about we only have one technician. If you are short the leader should jump in and assist. Took a whole day away for a 20 minute job. It was a tire under warranty.

I don't think the Firestone mechanic adjusted the front two-wheel alignment, and I appreciate they informed me that one tire was bald and needed to be replaced, but I already have another the whole tire and rim in the storage unit. They expect me to buy a tire from them. I didn't accept it. After I leave Firestone Auto Shop. My vehicle was still driving to the right, which indicated that they had not completed the job. They also did not send me an email with wheel alignment results. I will never go back to that location again. I knew they were doing the same thing they did before, which is why I avoided that location area.

The prices are too high and the wait time is too long. I sat in the lobby for 3 hours just to find out the tire I needed was not available and no other Firestone had the tire in stock. Then they tried to sell me a high dollar sport tire for $300. You need to pack your lunch and patience.

4 stars for the service I received, but 1 star for not making a phone call to start an extended warranty claim. I was told they don't deal with 3rd party companies. All they had to do was open the claim, I would cover the cost and submit the receipts myself to the warranty company. Is this too much to ask? Very disappointed....I'll have to go elsewhere for service.

I took my car to this Firestone on 8/27/2024 because my check engine light was flashing, and my car was rumbling very heavily. The store hours are 7 a.m. - 6 p.m., however there was no one there when I arrived at 7. There were even mechanics parked outside who couldn't get into the store. I left at 7:45, but someone was eventually there when I called back at 8. This was the guy who I'd be dealing with throughout this whole process. He recommended replacing the ignition coils and spark plug, among other things. I told him just to do the coils and plugs. He told me my car would be ready around 4, but it wasn't. When I called at 4:30, he told me my car would be ready at 6, when they close. When I still hadn't gotten a call back even after 6 had passed, I called and he said my car was ready. When I went to pick my car up, the front door was locked, and they had shut everything down for the day. The guy I'd been talking to earlier had me walk through the garage to get into the front office, which probably opened Firestone up to all kinds of liability if I had gotten injured. The door to the office from the garage was also locked, and another employee had to let me in and get me checked out. She was the only person during this whole thing who had any sense of customer service. God bless her. I paid the $1100 they charged me to fix it, and everything seemed to be working aright when I drove my car home. This morning, however, the check oil light came on after I had driven about 500 feet from my house, and it was making a noise it wasn't making prior to bringing it in. I called Firestone back and talked to the same guy I was dealing with yesterday. I told him the issue I was having, and he said "Oh that's okay, bring it on in for an oil change." Because he recommended an oil change but didn't say it was urgent, I asked if I was going to be charged for this since I wasn't having this issue before I brought it in and I believed that it was happening because of something Firestone either did or didn't do. He said "Oh, most definitely. It wasn't doing that when you left." I told him not to worry about it, then hung up. As I started to drive my car back home, the oil light went off and everything felt normal again. I called Firestone back, and the same guy picked up. I told him that the oil problem fixed itself, that I wasn't happy with the service I had received yesterday and this morning, and that I'd like to speak to the store manager. Turns out, he was the store manager. I asked him if he was the one who was an hour late opening the store yesterday, and he said "Oh I got here on my scheduled time. The person who was supposed to open the store didn't show up." What kind of store manager passes the buck like that and lets customers sit around his store for a whole hour? He should have stepped up, but I get the impression that this guy doesn't like to work that hard. After that call, I start to drive to work. As soon as I hit my highway on ramp, my check engine light started flashing again, and my car started having the exact same issues it was having yesterday when I brought it in! I decided not to call the Madison Ave. Firestone back because Mr. Manager clearly has no idea what he's doing. Instead, I called Firestone corporate and had a very productive conversation with a representative. Hopefully, the area manager will call me back sometime between now and Friday and we can get this settled. As far as I'm concerned, Firestone ether owes me $1127.73 or a second attempt at fixing my vehicle free of charge. And on top of all that, about an hour after I got my car home the first time, the store manager called me to ask if I had seen a set of keys in my car. This guy lost someone's keys! I am never, ever, ever taking a car back to this Firestone again. I won't go to any Firestone again if they don't make this right. Do not come here. Seriously. Save your money and sanity. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Negative stars, even.

Timothy, the Service Manager, and his team were so helpful- I pulled in with a flat and he felt so bad his technicians were all slammed and couldn’t help. He let me wait in the AC while a tow truck came; then after maybe 15min said he was having one of the technicians pull my car around to fix it! I so appreciate their team making the time to help- what lifesavers. Thank you!

Made an appointment online for a tire rotation at 10 am and indicated I was going to wait. Arrived at the store and got told that it would be a 5 hour wait time and I shouldn't wait at the store....ok....wasn't planning that so I called a ride and paid to go home. At 2:30 called and asked what time i would be done, got told that it would be done before 6 pm when they close and they would call me. I called back at 5:45 and was told to come on down to the store they were just about to put the car up and they would be done by the time I got there. Arrived at the store right before closing to get told that actually they hadn't pulled the car because they were short staff. This puzzled me and i mentioned the only reason I came down because someone (it was the guy I was speaking too I found out) told me to come down and they were about to put it up. He explained they were short staffed, which is fine but you knew that when you told me to come down less than 15 minutes ago. The constantly setting expectations only to not meet them is probably what annoyed me the most. I get that you have staffing shortages but don't set multiple expectations of when the vehicle will be done only to not have it done. I ended up wasting the entire day having the car sitting there. They told me to bring the car by tomorrow and they would be able to do it, but I don't think I will be doing that. Reading the reviews this seems like a re-occuring problem that corporate apparently doesn't want to fix or simply doesn't care enough to fix. If you put any sort of value on your time I wouldn't bother coming here. On a note to corporate who apparently responds to one star reviews. I'm not interested in contacting you with the details you got dozens of reviews basically saying the same thing, if you haven't done anything about it yet i doubt my complaint will motivate you to do anything.
