Firestone is a brand I'd recommend for anyone who needs quality repairs done quickly. However, at this particular location, I've experienced serious issues with the quality of repairs as well as how the repairs are documented. If you complete repairs at this Firestone, verify the repairs are documented correctly. A few months ago, another mechanic diagnosed my car with a bad wheel bearing. Having known Firestone for quick and quality repairs, I decided to go with them instead. Firestone confirmed that the wheel bearing was bad, needed to be replaced, and that it could be replaced the same day. In the process of repairing the wheel bearing, the hub assembly broke as well, resulting in it needing to be replaced and the car being in the shop for 3 days instead of 1. A few months after the repair, the same wheel bearing began failing again. When I took it to my local Firestone in the Woodlands, I learned that the location I initially had the repairs done at, documented that I requested a new hub, not a new bearing. This meant the repairs on the bearing weren't covered under warranty, and I'd have to pay out of pocket again for work I'd had done just a few months ago. Once I told them what happened, they replaced the wheel bearing at no expense to me. However, this situation could have been completed avoided had the repairs been documented correctly the first time. If you get work done at the Huntsville Firestone location, verify that the work you requested is documented properly to avoid trouble down the road.

Horrible customer service. I pulled in with a bad break on my truck with horses on my trailer and they wouldn't even attempt to help or look at it. Very dangerous situation and they just told me where else to go across town with no breaking capability. No concern or consideration for somebody from out of town with live animals or others on the road in a dangerous situation. Strangers on the street were more willing to help then the actual business meant to do the job.

Well, I have been dealing with Firestone in Huntsville, Texas for a few years now and every time I go there they have great customer service. The people are very warming welcoming and try to help you with your issues. I really enjoy doing business with Firestone.

David and Ronny helped me out while I was moving af friend back to Houston! They got me set up with tires and back on the road. They even went the extra mile by putting my full size spare back underneath my car and holding the old tires so I can keep/warranty them! Thank you so much to you guys!

I tell people all the time when I am asked why I use Firestone...it's because I have learned that I can trust Firestone to fix my car issues and if there is a problem afterwards, I know I can count on them to make it right. I have been using Firestone for vehicle maintenance, mishaps, tires etc since 2002. My only complaint is that sometimes they really do take a long time to come out with an update.

I do not recommend this Firestone location at all. I have been doing business with Firestone for 20 years and I have tried to use the same manager as I follow him as he changes locations because his customer service is the best I have found. That manager is in Conroe and recently I needed repairs on two trucks and did not have time to take them down to Conroe so I came to the Huntsville location. One truck had been damaged when they broke the bed cover trying to put the old tires in the bed. I was told by the manager that he could not control an act of god. My other truck was damaged a lot worse though. I asked them to change my thermostat which is a $20 part because I seen higher temperatures than I liked when pulling my trailer. They said it was fine and changed the coolant. My next trip out of town I was stranded and my truck over heated due to a bad thermostat. The old one was sticking and then failed completely which took out my water pump and all my hoses once it ran hot. The worst part is when I called to let them know so they could improve their services the next time someone had this issue, I was told they did not have time to talk about it by the service manager. I have been waiting on a credit for some of the fluids that had to be replaced after this happened assured by the regional manager and he apologized for the way I was treated. He also seen this horrible customer service when he visited the store. I just returned to town so I decided to go up there today to see if they could credit me for my losses directly since I have been waiting for two months for the credit. What a mistake, the new Service Manager Jason who had previously been the assistant manager and I felt we had got along with in the past decided to immediately give me an attitude and have a smirk on his face saying that he told me to go to a dealer and he could not do anything after I went over his head. I only went over his head as he says because he told me that “he was nobody and could not get anything done” previously. I still had no real issue with him but I calmly just wanted to talk to them about my truck and the reimbursement. He also said that I have been to many other locations and gad issues. I don’t know where he got that from. I use other locations by choice and have only lived here for 3 years and I travel a lot but he was aware I don’t use his location much even though I have spent over $5000 there in the past year or so. I have never been treated so poorly by any business in my lifetime. I only shared this because I have to now keep a truck that has more than likely long term damage and I’m out almost $2000 from repairs that could have been avoided if they would have just replaced the $20 part I requested. Sorry for the book but this had to be shared in my opinion.

I have known Mr. Wood for almost 20 years. So even if I am not satisfied with a visit at the desk, I can come back when he is there and get excellent service. He knows I have personally recommended, even driven friends and strangers alike to get tires there.

I recently bought new tires and needed a front end alignment I took it to my mechanic so he could pre-check ball joints, etc. Firestone said they could not align my truck gave me a $4000 estimate to rebuild my entire front end. I took it back to my mechanic, he said they were absolutely not truthful with me. I will not go back and I don’t recommend them.

This star doesn’t not matter at all because in the end they’re still gonna be a business but I hope my review helps someone in the long run. So about a month in a half ago my husband decided to take our car to get fixed, before taking the car to this place I’ll admit my car wasn’t running smooth but at least it was running. After allowing these so call mechanics to take a look at what was going on they informed my husband a price & he paid it no hesitation because it’s our only transportation, instead of them educating my husband on the thing that he needed the most they tried to haggle for more money after fixing something that only got worse. After my husband return who knew that would be the last time that we would be able to crack up the car, what a pitty for Firestone to take advantage of someone the way that they did. Me being the person that I am knowing that my father works on cars I know for a fact that it should’ve gotten this bad, so I give Firestone a call & ask to speak to the mechanic that assist my husband but I never was allowed to do so instead I talk to another gentleman not sure if he was a manager or not but as we’re talking I hear the man in the background confirming everything that man was saying. So I go to call my husband & he explains the situation & what he was told, by this point I’m like okay I’ll call in a few days to see if this story would change & it did. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in this area the manager is rude they screwed us out of more than $300 only to have to buy new spark plus plus more parts & pay someone else to fix what they messed up, they also unhooked stuff & never hooked it back up. It’s a shame that people will cheat you out of your money the way that this place has don’t I won’t be going back if they were the last place on earth. They informed me that they didn’t care if I wrote a review because they have our money & they weren’t going to help assist I was cursed out & amongst other nasty rude things were said over the phone.

Very clean facility. The employees were very respectful and professional. I Arrived earlier than my appointment and they got me right in. They rotated my tires and checked out my car for the road trip. I’m taking next week and I am very pleased. I will definitely go back when I need tires.

Ive been to 2 firestones. I live in Rapid City, South Dakota and I went there first. I needed an alignment. They said that the alignment can’t be done because a part needed to be replaced. I knew it didnt. They quoted me ~$500 and I declined. I came down to Huntsville, TX to visit family and friends. I took my truck to the Firestone here and had an appointment for an alignment. I drop my truck off, 10-15 minutes later, he calls and says the alignment cannot be completed because I need ball joints, and a part was seized and needed replaced. My ball joints were just replaced 3,000 miles ago. The part was not seized, and I knew that because prior to taking my truck to the alignment shop, I verified that the “seized” part the first Firestone told me needed replaced, was able to move and was not seized. I picked my truck up, and drove home, irritated of course. Once I got home, I performed my alignment myself, and never ran into any issues. I will never, ever, take my truck to a firestone.

The Huntsville, TX Firestone location has knowledgeable technicians. They listen to the customer. I have bought two sets of tires, had two alignments done, and now two rotations and balance. All done in a timely manner.

What a complete waste of my time. The staff lacked professionalism and literally lied to my face and over the phone. I now see why the competition was so backed up. I've never been more surprised at an office staff so in need of a good firing!
