Scare tactics to get me to authorize more work. Scratches my truck and never had before pictures. Dropped truck off at 0700 and was told it would be ready around lunch but it wasn’t actually ready until 540pm. Bad experience all the way around. Will not go back or recommend. Store was filthy. Sway bar linkage installed this day have fallen off. This store does sub par work. Will never use Firestone again. Good help is hard to find apparently. Sheesh

The first words out of the service man’s mouth were, “ It’s going to be a 2 1/2 hour wait.“ There was literally no one in line in front of me. There were no cars waiting to be serviced. There was literally no reason that my tire could not have been patched immediately. It did seem that the person at the counter was the only employee who was there at that time. However, that doesn’t justify poor service. If you need more employees, hire them. This makes Firestone look extremely bad. The NTB down the road, took care of me in mirror minutes, and they got a five star Google review out of the deal. I figured I would return to Google and give this Firestone the review that it earned, as well.

I made an appointment time but I was late due to leaving my job late. I called to let them know that I was on my way and was told to let whoever help know that I am late but I called. They were very busy as I expected because it was nearing the Thanksgiving holiday. Even though they was very busy they still managed to have my oil changed and inspect my vehicle in reasonable timing. And they were all very kind to me and everyone that came in the store.

Made an appt for 10am to change a few tires. Quoted about 1.5 hr wait, went home. After 2 hours, I call to check on my car and they say it’s ready. I get here and turns out they changed the wrong tires. They then proceed to say they’ll change the correct one and so I’m stuck waiting another hour. I don’t understand why this couldn’t have been communicated over the phone so I didn’t have to waste time waiting in store. Other customers after me were being quoted 3-4 hour waits. That’s crazyyyyy. Def don’t recommend.

Every time I go to this Fireston, there is a problem. I went in to get an alignment. Dropped my vehicle off and Uber’s home. The guy that checked me in told me it was 2 other cars in front of me and they would call when done. I ended up calling because I received an email with a laundry list of things they wanted or said I needed for my vehicle. When I called, guy went over everything, he gave me a price, I said can this be completed today? He assured me it would be. After 4 plus hours, he called me back to say they would not be able to complete my work and could then keep it and finish tomorrow? That is a problem for me! I could have taken my car somewhere else and had the work completed my car setting there all that time and nothing was done! This is not the first bad encounter I have had at this Firestone, I will not be returning to this one or another one for that matter again!

I brought my vehicle here to have my check engine light serviced and left with other problems after paying a deposit to have my vehicle repaired on today. I spent 4 1/2 hours there just to get the diagnostic and I paid my deposit for services before leaving. I drove a couple of miles to the HEB around the corner and immediately started having an issue with my vehicle. I did not have any issues prior to coming to Firestone. My vehicle was drivable and didn't have issues besides the check engine light being on. My vehicle was hesitant to accelerate and was also jerking. I called the store and spoke to Sabrina and she asked me to come back up to take another look at it. I came back to the store and it was checked out. After 20 minutes of waiting they said they didn't find an issue. After leaving the store I picked up my children from school a couple blocks away from the store and still had issues. When I got into the vehicle this morning, I reversed out of my driveway and pushed button to put the car in drive, however it was in neutral and would not switch to drive. Again, I did not have this issue prior to coming in to Firestone. I called the store and spoke with Alex whom did not care to hear me. He only wanted to talk over me saying that they did not service my car for transmission issues. Mind you, my car has not been serviced yet as my appointment is at 1pm today. I just cannot understand why I am having issues that I did not have prior to coming to this business. Alex claimed they only plugged in the device to read the codes for my check engine light. NONE of which were transmission related. I knew about one code prior to coming as I've had it read at other places of business several times. Alex really made me upset because he kept talking around my issue instead of listening. I do understand that a lot of people today commit fraud and do a lot of dishonest things, but I am not that type of person. I am a single mother/teacher who lives on a very tight budget and it's unfortunate that places like this sometimes take advantage of people like me. I am now skeptical to have my car serviced at 1pm today because I have new issues with my vehicle that will be costly for me to fix because this place of business is not taking my word that I did not have issues with my transmission and gears shifting prior to coming here. I have drove my car for one year with the check engine light on and never once had any issue! I trusted this place of business and now I have to figure out how to pay for an issue that Firestone has brought along. There is no way possible that the device that reads codes cause my car to not want to switch gears. I was also questioning the fact that it took 4 hours for a diagnostic. This is unfair and I will not recommend anyone coming to this location for services. It's not right to take advantage of women who you may feel don't know anything about cars or car services. I am not an expert, but I pay attention and I listen very well. I don't know if I can even get my $300 deposit back that I put down for services today. Alex tried to get me to pay for the service in full, but this issue that came about that I did not have is the exact reason why I did not pay the $748 up front. I will definitely be addressing this matter legally as I don't have money to throw away nor do I accept being jerked around. Update: As of yesterday about 4:30pm, my vehicle would not start, was stuck in reverse, and not drivable. These people have ruined car, my life, and livelihood!

I scheduled an appointment and asked them if they could fix a problem about my tire. They called me and informed me that the problem was fixed. I went to pick up my car and inspected it before I drove away. They did not fix it and completely removed a part and kept it. They didn’t inform me that it couldn’t be fixed nor did they inform me that they removed a part and kept it. I had to go back and ask why the part was removed and ask for it back.

We were on the way to the beach with our kids, when we got a flat tire, so we stop by this location, it was a busy Saturday. All staff was so friendly and helpful. We thought we had to wait for hours and had to cancel our plan, but they worked so fast and within an hour, it was fixed. Thank you so much for a great service!

I am so so upset make appointment online on monday and they system give the time they available I pick 8am being that I have a meeting on the side came her the gentlemen to me they can’t do my oil change because they are book up that not fault when he gave me an 8 o’clock appointment and then he can tell me there was trying to get in contact with me after I drive from the other side of town to get this way because I have a meeting on this side and this what you gonna tell me I always go to Firestone On Voss never have a problem with those On Voss .but since I say ok i have a meeting not to far from it will work out but it did not I and so upset because I could have still be in my bed until my meeting .

I've been going to this location for many years first I was bringing my Mazda they took care of me every step of the way now I have a different vehicle and they continue the excellent service not only towards my vehicle to myself as well even going the extra mile telling me of pointing out things that need attention that are not on my original reason for visit so thank you Firestone you guys are amazing!

This location has such amazing service. Alex and his team have helped my father, my daughter and me. My dad always tells me to go to this location above all else, and have recently learned the hard way that I should listen lol. These guys are amazing! They were very knowledgeable, very courteous and had me taken care of in no time! I will always recommend Alex, the store manager, to any of my friends and family. He's gone above and beyond to take care of our 3 vehicles for tires, oil changes and other needed services! I couldn't imagine ever going to another location again.

I have been long standing Firestone customer fotr a considerable long time and my mindset regarding their service has been: good to excellent due to manpower turnover as is the case with a number of service providers regardless of the product and/or service! I have always had utilized apple as the "yardstick" for comparison - you pay for the hardware once and performance improves the product lifecycle via software updates! What I have experienced at the Firestone located at Houston TX Almeda Mall has been consistently "Excellent". Experienced techs, sales associates & store manager are critical to be successful in implenting a resolution to a customer's vehicle. Alex the manager has been with the company for a number of years and has a tremendous support team that includes: s super tech by name of Tommy R & at the front is a super knowledgeable sales associate by the name of Sabrina R. Overall, highly recommend this specific store for an Excellent experience for your vehicle.
