As a former Firestone member, I paid attention to the overall vibe of this shop. Matt is a great manager. He has a laid back personality and isn’t pushy with the bosses. He’s the type of manager every Firestone location should strive to have. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Firestone for any work but I especially like the pictures taken during the CVI so I can actually get a look at the recommendations for my vehicle without having to go out into the bays. Overall, great service and awesome experience!

Wheel alignment went well But it took longer than 2 hours to complete and I dropped my car 15 minutes earlier so they could have it earlier. I called them after an hour and they told me that they have not even started on my car yet?!?!? They need to reevaluate how they schedule appointments so customers are not wasting their time.

Had a wheel bearing go out and Firestone was right there,they took my truck right in and got the part replaced it in around 2 hours and back on the road,came back next day cause the front end was wobbly and was told needed a new tire,got it and then there was rubbing noise and fixed that all of this handled with professional ism and courtesy and friendliness

I would give one star, but the staff at the front counter were excellent and deserve 5 stars. However, some of the technicians in the back need more training. I went in to replace a flat tire and was told I also needed a new rim. They recommended I buy a rim at Discount Tire and then return to Firestone. I did that, came back to Firestone to have the new rim and tire installed, but the technician forgot to put the new rim on. I returned the same day, and after waiting an hour, they told me the rim I bought was the wrong size because the lug nuts wouldn't fit. I went back to Discount Tire, and they had no issue putting the rim on. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

I brought my car in for a simple battery replacement and when I left the a/c now blows hot air on the driver side. The manager and their technician says changing the battery has no effect on the a/c. But if you do a simple Google or YouTube search you can see that they are not correct. On top of that their computer system isn’t compatible with my cars system so they can’t even identify what is now wrong with it.

I thought they were reliable the first two times but it was pure coincidence. It's obvious they are more about profit than actually helping the customer. I needed to get inspected but instead they tried to upsell me and turn it into a massive repair. Replace every shock and my cv axle due to a pinhole leak which after speaking with the guy who does most my work it probably could be sealed with a small sealant maybe a fingertips worth, no need to spend 2k. Also they nearly scammed me into the credit card but after leaving I looked at the information which was an incomplete statement. Also my appointment was at 8am they didn't not move my car till 2pm

Unacceptable Customer Service and Poor Communication I had a terrible experience at Firestone West University Drive, Denton, 76201, TX today, and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered such poor service from the representative Michael. I had ordered front tires in the morning, and Michael assured me that my order would arrive by 5 PM. I was expecting a call to let me know when my order was ready so I could come in and get my tires fixed. However, I didn’t receive any updates. At 5:20 PM, I called to check on my order, only to be told arrogantly, “We don’t call customers—you should come by 5 PM. It’s past 5 PM, and we have other vehicles to handle.” I calmly explained that they should notify customers when their orders are ready, and I could be there in five minutes. I also mentioned that if it wasn’t possible today, I’d come back tomorrow. Michael reluctantly said, “Ok, come on, let’s see here.” I arrived at 5:30 PM, handed over my keys, and waited patiently for 1.5 hours. Just six minutes before closing time (at 6:54 PM), Michael approached me and asked if I had ordered tires in the morning. When I confirmed, he casually responded, “Oh, sorry, we didn’t get your order yet. Would you mind coming back tomorrow?” After waiting so long, this was infuriating and disrespectful. It shows a complete lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for customers’ time. This isn’t an isolated incident—I’ve experienced similar dismissive behavior from Michael in the past. I strongly urge Firestone to address this kind of service and ensure proper training for their representatives. Customer communication and respect are non-negotiable, and this level of negligence is unacceptable.

I had scheduled a thorough vehicle inspection at this site, but the staff neglected to perform the evaluation and incorrectly recorded on the paperwork that I declined required work, specifically engine and cabin air filter replacements, without seeking my approval. This experience exemplifies the difficulties inherent in locating reliable vehicle maintenance services, where financial incentives often supersede commitment to quality. In response, I will not revisit this facility and request a refund, coupled with an opportunity to confer with senior management regarding the incomplete inspection.

Worst experience ever, went and tried to get my battery replaced and they said they could do it and I waited over 2 hours and my car was still where I left it and they eventually went out and started it rolled down the windows and turned it back off , and then brought me outside and told me they couldn’t get the trunk unlocked and they couldn’t replace my battery because I have hybrid and when I tried to start my car it wouldn’t start so I asked if they could jumpstart it and they told me no because they can’t work on a hybrid and it then started pouring down rain and they still wouldn’t help me I was even willing to sign a waiver so I atleast could get my windows rolled up and head back home but they still said no , so now my car was flooded, and I had to pay a towing company 90 dollar for them to jump start it. They also had a major attitude with me and got frustrated didn’t know much about cars

Came home from college and needed to get a vehicle inspection fast for my car registration. Had great service, got in and out with very little wait time, and I even got to request the cowboy’s game be put on in the lobby. Great people and a really nice atmosphere - love the plants and the gorgeous fiddle-leaf fig tree!

I tried to set an appointment this past Saturday, September 28, 2024, for a check engine light. I received a call 15 minutes before my appointment informing me that the mechanic was leaving at 5:00 p.m. I completely understood, and the person on the phone and I agreed that Monday at 8:00 a.m. would be a better option. I received an email confirmation for Tuesday, October 1. When I called back to inform him of the incorrect date, he agreed and said, "You're good." However, I never received an email confirmation for the correct date and time. On Monday, I arrived for my appointment only to discover that he had never changed the date. After discussing the appointment times and the estimated duration of the service, I agreed to leave my car. I informed him that the check engine light had turned off, and he responded, "Oh, it fixed itself," and stated that he could not diagnose a vehicle without the check engine light being illuminated. Honestly, I'm glad my vehicle "fixed itself" because I think he would have made it worse.

I went in an hour before close for a 10 minute inspection and the mechanic told me he wanted to go home and for me to come back the next day. I completely understand but I was a bit flabbergasted.

Told my customer their engine was “locked up” on a 2012 Accord. Simply a new positive battery cable terminal and a radiator later and their car was magically fixed. Morons, lazy…not sure but avoid, literally at any cost. Their response to reviews is typical corporate bullshit, they apologize without having any context or specific details to help you out. They want you to contact them so you can wait on the phone talking to multiple other agents…who I guess are as incompetent as their mechanics. Shame of a shop.

I brought my car in for an alignment and they were so nice and helpful and were able to get me in quickly. I sat in the waiting room while they worked on it and the staff came by often to chat and talk about what care my car may need. The waiting area was very clean and set up really cute with lots of plants and a coffee bar.

I would highly recommend you go anywhere else. They always seem understaffed or poorly managed to do anything. They never answer the phone ever. And each time I've stopped by in person l, I can't even ask about having them do a service for me because they say they're too busy and to come back tomorrow. Poor establishment. I think they maybe have one guy in the whole building actually doing anything. Today was my 3rd attempt using them because of their convenient location. I'm positive that ease of access is the only thing keeping them alive.

The girl at the front desk was so nice and made the whole experience not suck so bad. No one likes a hole in their tire and when one new tire goes to 4 it can ruin a day but she made it ok. Super professional. Very kind. Found me the best tire option for the best price.

This place SUCKS, WORST place I’ve ever been! I was traveling from Galveston to Amarillo stranded with a flat tire. After waiting 1 hour they told me my tire was not fixable. Drove 2 miles down the road to Wal-Mart and was back on the road again in 15 minutes! Guess it was fixable, THANK YOU WAL-MART AUTO CENTER!

Update: I wish I could leave 2 bad reviews, I made the mistake of trying these guys again because of how close to my house they are. They quoted me 2-3 hours for a service so I made an appointment for 7 am, right at open, and left the car with them 4 hours before I needed it for work. I call at 11 when I should be clocking into work and they HAVEN'T EVEN TAKEN IT INTO THE BAY. "We only have one master tech today sir" Never go here, it deserves to fail and let an actually good business open in its wake. These guys are useless. We just needed a patch on a tire that was less than 6 months old, and they wouldn’t do it because the tread was “too low.” We agreed to replace the tire because either way it was spewing air, and they take it into the garage and replace the WRONG TIRE. We take it back to make it right and suddenly, like magic, they can patch the tire! :D And they’ll even do it for “free.” Enjoy my other perfectly good tire I guess. If you need tires, don’t get them in Denton.

Special thanks to Michael, who went above and beyond for me, including stayed past close to get me out after a mechanic didn't do part of service. The mechanic thought it was ok to bring my keys and the paperwork to check me out to the front, immediately leave, then not pick up his phone when the service tech tried to call him because he skipped the curtesy check on my vehicle and their system wouldn't let me be checked out until it was done. Apparently it wasn't the first time he'd done it that day. So thank you Michael, for helping me out. You're awesome and I appreciate you.

I went to the Denton location for a second opinion. I had done a brake inspection somewhere else and they told me I needed to replace my suspension. Called Firestone and the lady on the phone (can’t remember her name) was so kind to me and recommended getting it looked at there. Jommel was very professional, showed me my car and said nothing was wrong with my suspension. They saved me $4200 and I HIGHLY recommend to anyone. This Firestone location is honest, treats their customers with respect, and very professional! I will be returning!

Seemed a bit under staffed and took quite a while to get my car into the bay. Waiting room was far too cold. Staff was quite pleasant and friendly. Noticed a few people calling in about their vehicles that could not get finished today but mechanics left for the day without calling them. The remaining staff were handling the calls very well, but should not have had to do that.
