I had recently gone into the store and told them i needed to get my check engine light checked. I even told them i knew what the codes were - EVAP issue. He said he would have to run diagnostics to point me to the exact location for the EVAP leak. After 3 hours of leaving my car with them, i got a call saying that there was a problem with the EVAP system( which i had already mentioned to them while dropping the car off). The representative called me and told me that according to their diagnosis they will have to replace the Solenoid and gas cap. As if both were the issues and if that didn't solve the problem they would have to dig deeper. That third part replacement was $930+ labor. I got my car back from firestone to get another opinion since the mechanic who worked on my car literally made it sound like the whole EVAP system was the issue. They charged me $130 for this “out of the world” diagnosis which could have literally been copied from google as well. At my second garage location, the mechanic told me that he had seen the same codes and run a smoke test which is one if the main ways to point you towards where the leak is. He saw that the only part that needs to be replaced was the gas cap( something that hardly costs $20 - 30) that too firestone would charge me $43. In total i could have paid $140 to get my car repaired but due to thieving corporates like you i had to pay the diagnosis fee at firestone as well. Utterly DISAPPOINTED at the service provided by you guys. Also wait time is pathetic. The representative has no sense of speaking to people and explaining any issues. And the diagnosis that was supposed to be free was later told to me was $130 for that as well!!

Not going back. I’m in Cbus and have used the local Firestone for decades. No complaints. Daughter is in Cincy and needs a battery. So sent her there. She dropped it off noon on Saturday. Heard nothing on Saturday. I reached out early Sunday afternoon to check and they said the assigned tech does not work on Sunday. That would have been good to know when it was dropped off. Picked it up and went somewhere else. Thanks for nothing.

I took my vehicle due to the check engine light being on and with a statement, “Reduce Power.” I was told the fuel pump went out. My warranty company paid for the repairs. In less than two weeks, the light was back on with the same statement as above. I brought the vehicle back in and was told it was the fuel sensor, which wasn’t covered by my warranty. At the same time, there was a noise that wasn’t there initially. I requested they check out the noise along with the ongoing problem. I was told by one person that it was the aftermarket parts installed. I was asked to wait, while he get his master mechanic. After waiting 10-15 minutes, I had to go in the store to get help. At which time I was told he got busy. He called someone and came back unsure of the noise and really didn’t hear. I was told bring the car back on a Thursday, which I did after work. I did and spoke with a young manager that referred me to the store manager because he knew the noises better. After speaking with him, he told me it was the exhaust. Yet, he told I never washed him to check out the noise. Aha! Now it’s my motor mount that’s causing the noise or the resonator, but the motor mount is bad. After fixing the motor mount the noise didn’t go away. This wasn’t covered by warranty. A day or two later. My car is down again with a failed fuel pump and sensor. There seems to be a failure here that resulted in a lot of money spent and misdiagnosis.

Long time Firestone customer, this location is horrible. Had three new tires put on the rims by this Firestone. 9 days ago. What was suppose to be 90 mins of work had to wait almost 4 hours. When I got home with the new tires on the truck one of them went flat overnight the first night. Kept putting air in and until I was back down by that location again (9 days later) walked in and asked for them to look at it. Was told I had to remove the tire from the truck myself, and leave the tire with them since they could not "put me ahead of other customers" I guess a poor install from 9 days ago puts me to the back of the line, where it would take all of 15 mins to swap a valve stem.... Not only was the problem not addressed here, the person behind the desk had no real customer service mindset. Firestone sells good tires, most of my other experience with Firestone has been positive. But this location and its employees should be avoided. It's a bad representation of a good company.

This place is the worst! It's now 5:54, and I haven’t gotten an update on my car. I've been stuck here since 4 PM waiting for my car after getting rescheduled twice. I just came in for a tire repair and vehicle inspection. It's ridiculous, and I really wish I had the company's phone number because I'm so frustrated. While I was waiting, I saw several other customers come in, only to be told they had to reschedule for tomorrow due to being understaffed. It's wild since my appointment was at 4 PM, and there were two others with the same time. I get that things can take a while, but having to ask for updates and after being rescheduled is just a terrible customer experience. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE !!!

Was in a bind with a tire losing air due to a likely nail puncture. From out of town with no choice but to wait, with no appointment the team got me in quickly, had the tire repaired and I was on my way. That's five star service! Thank you!!

Will scam you, took my car in because there was a leak that I couldn’t find, claimed they couldn’t find anything and they put sealant around the rim and to come back of it leaked again, decided to take it to a mechanic I trust, he found the hole and said they didn’t even do the sealant lol, they just wanna sell you a tire and will not help with your tires

We were heading home from a evening in Cincinnati when my Prius started to give several warning messages. This was a Saturday, with very few places would have even attempted. The techs took a look but did say they would need to do a little research to make sure they could complete the service. Within a few hours the water pump was delivered and installed and we were back on the road. Thank you to your team.

The people in this place does not keep their words. They said would call me in the morning about the car, they didn't. When I called in the morning, said " we havn't get your car inside to take a closer look, will call you back in the afternoon", then in the afternoon, no call back. Then when I call them, they said " can you hold?" then no one ever answers the call. Just do not go there, they promise well, but no good in keeping promises.

Being a us marine I look for military discounts and remember how Firestone was the place to go but I am a very disappointed in the service I received in the last week at this Norwood shop from 19.99 A/C Check turned into a 165 dollar bill which was done without my consent and 7 hours later the A/C blows hot air again then having a recheck next day I had a new condenser which lasted only a day and a half which cost 1,122 dollars and have to take it back again now they tell me it needs another part they miss but it a sign posted that if no fixed they fix it free what kind of service is this which is guaranteed and unhappy service member

I took my car in here last summer when my car was making a strange noise when breaking. They told me nothing was wrong with my car and sent me on my way. However, after now having been to a different Firestone who treated me with way more respect and care, there was a major issue with my calipers and the caliper boot causing uneven wear on my break pads and rotors. There was also major corrosion on each part. It is astounding that this issue was not noticed by this location. There are a few good employees here, but since management changed a few years ago it has not been the same.

The gentleman who helped me was so kind and patient with me in explaining what was going on with my car. He was very honest and helpful. I left there raving about their customer service and a few of my friends have already mentioned that they now want to try them out. They weren’t even able to fix my car but their honesty and knowledge on the matter was enough to make me a customer for life. They could have taken my service and repaired the issue but they were honest about how my car fell under a warranty recall with my dealer and recommended I get serviced there. SUCH GOOD PEOPLE!

I had car looked at after I had an issue with my brakes vibrating when braking. They told me all of my brakes needed to be done. After charging me a crazy amount, they forgot to call me and tell me my car was done. On top of that the vibration didn’t stop. They then looked at the car again and said it was the ABS sensor causing the issue. I had to take my car back and then was charged even more money to fix the issue. I had a test drive with the manager who gave me an attitude the entire drive and was mad at me for complaining about the issue that wasn’t resolved. I am happy because the terrible service here resulted in me finding a great local mechanic just down the street. I’ll be staying away from all Firestone’s especially the Norwood one.

I took my 2010 Toyota Yaris here for an alignment on 11/11/22. My regular mechanic doesn't do alignments, so I figured I might as well just get a cheap one at Firestone. I was aware of the chain's bad reputation, but figured that since I knew exactly what I needed, they couldn't upsell me. Well, they told me my car was "not alignable" and that I would need to get $1,000 of repairs done. So I paid for the alignment check and took my car home. Later, I took it to a different mechanic, and lo and behold, my wheels were perfectly aligned a couple hours later. No other repairs needed. I called Firestone in Norwood, told them what had happened, and asked for a refund of the money I had paid for the alignment check. I was told there was "no way" they would do that, and they reiterated that I needed $1000 worth of repairs. Do not be fooled by their low advertised prices. I got ripped off. Edit: The manager reached out and tried to convince me that the mechanic was being totally honest and I still need all those repairs. No surprise, I guess?

I am always able to call in the morning, and have an answer by the end of the day. They work with me on my kids schedule, when they need to keep my car, and are just all around good people. This last visit they even saved me money! Their service is fantastic and I recommend them to everyone around Norwood.

Not sure what has happened here but it's gone a little downhill compared to before. recently took in my car to have two tires checked. I specifically told them which two tires and what my issues were. took in my car late on a weekday afternoon so was expecting to not be serviced for a little bit but it was another two full days before the car was looked at and then another day for the service to be completed and for me to pick up the vehicle. they fixed one tire and told me that the second tire I was concerned about was fine. lo and behold literally the next day after I pick up my car, that same tire is still experiencing issues and upon closer inspection, realize it's honestly really funny that they tried to tell me that my tire with hardly any tread, clearly dry rotting away, was "fine and not a concern."

Scheduled an appointment online for an oil change and tire replacement, when i got there they told me I had no appointment scheduled. The manager asked me what the problems were and i told him that the front left tire had a hole in it, but made it clear that i didn't want it repaired and would much rather have it replaced (the treads are extremely worn, dry rot, etc.). he told me they could get me in before the end of the day. I was okay with that and left my car there. kept waiting for an update call telling me it was ready, but got nothing. called the next day and they told me it was ready. I went in and picked my car up, i was very upset and disappointed to find when i got home that they didn't replace the tire but rather patched the hole. I will not be going back.
