Was in the middle of an Uber delivery and my bumper fell off and the wheel well was rubbing. Randomly pulled over and this was the first shop and they helped me fix it for free. Thank you guys very much.

I don’t like writing reviews but I had to. It’s insane 2 hour wait with appointment just for an oil change . Just because a couple was in a rush to leave so they stop working on our vehicle to start working on there’s . Never coming here again . Not satisfied at all .

As it has been in the past visits to other Firestone, my expectations remain high for my unexpected visit to this store due to flat tire issue. From the initial check in by Adrian at the counter up to final delivery of my ready vehicle, service was EXCEPTIONAL - once again, as expected from a Firestone store.

My partner took the car in for an oil change and they convinced him to change the wiper blades even though the wiper blades were brand new as of 2 weeks ago. Why would you convince someone to change a car part if it is not worn or old? Then they charged $51 per wiper blade on a Jetta. This is robbery. They did fix the issue when I called about it and questioned the decisions made. (Don’t blame my partner, he just learned how to drive a car. I’m teaching him to supervise the work that mechanics do). Next time, the employee needs to explain why this part should be changed. The employee told my partner when we went back “but you agreed to this.” He agreed to what???? Why did you feel the need to replace brand new wiper blades. Not okay. Talk to this employee on his decision making. Thanks for the oil change.

I had an appointment at 11AM for an alignment. They told me it was gonna take an hour or 90 minutes (which still sounds excessive for an alignment WITH an appointment) Called at 1:30PM because I didn’t have any news and they were still not working on the car. It was ready over 4 hours after the appointment. Since I called and complained about the delay, when I came to pick up the car they didn’t really explain what was wrong with it other than just giving me the piece of paper showing the alignment results. Could have been SO much better if the appointment made any sense and if the crew actually wanted to help (providing guidance or feedback about the car’s condition) instead of just doing “what I paid for”. 3 days later I’m back because the alignment wasn’t done properly. Asked to talk to the manager and he didn’t show up because “he was doing inventory”. It’s been 2,5 hours and I’m still waiting for them to fix the car. There’s a customer that’s been sitting here for the same time waiting for his truck to get admitted for brakes, just ridiculous. Definitely NOT coming back.

I use this location often because they are as prompt as business will allow and always work with me on scheduling. Francis was especially helpful this go round, getting two new tires on with all four tire balanced and alignment done within the time frame I needed, plus my state inspection. Great visit!

If I could put 0 stars I would, team full of liars, brought my car into their shop in August for a new radiator which they replaced however recently it still had overheating issues, so I brought it back and it took them a whole week to tell me anything at all, then I got it back after they “fixed it” but the items they told me they replaced are still the same old stuff that was in there previously, (first lie) which I attempted to drive home after they told me it was fixed and not overheating or misfiring anymore which was a blatant lie, I didn’t make it 15 minutes away from the shop before it started to overheat, then I had them tow it back free of charge and it took them an additional week to “fix” it again, what did they fix? Who knows, I get it today (oct 30th) and I wasn’t even able to drive a mile before it began to overheat AGAIN, and before I drove it off the shop the front bumper was broken, how? No idea, it wasn’t like that when I dropped i had it dropped off, and my radio wasn’t working for some reason, was working perfectly fine beforehand, however they said they “test drove it” and said it wasn’t overheating nor misfiring but again, a blatant lie to my face, DO NOT GO TO THIS FIRESTONE THEY WILL LIE AND STEAL MONEY FROM YOU.

Make an appointment ahead of time, and they will get you taken care of! Easy location to get to in South Austin. Coffee station, and Water bottles available for you while you wait, as well as a TV! I've always taken my car here and the guy's here are really friendly. If I don't want something done to my car, they don't do it end of story. Great place to go!

I will not be coming back to this location. While I had a pleasant interaction with the staff -- I had been to the location about 4 months prior with concerns about the way my vehicle was handling/shaking on the road, and had been told that the problem was resolved based on the work done at the time. When I came in last week for a tire replacement, I was told that I had bushel damage that needed urgent repair, which I'm pretty sure should have been caught at the previous visit, as I have not been doing significant driving during the months in between. When I asked about it, I was not given any direct answer as to why the issue had been missed. I am concerned that this oversight may have caused my safety to be at risk and has caused a serious financial burden :/

Took my car in for a wheel alignment and oil change. They told me I needed new steering and suspension ($3k+). When I finally brought it in to have it taken care of they said nothing was wrong with it. Ive been experiencing popping noises when turning, squeeking, and creaking noises especially over bumps and shaking when at a stop, but they insisted nothing was wrong with my car. Bottom line, I don't trust them.

I had an excellent experience at Firestone on 8/10/24 and then again on 8/14/24. Setting up the appointment was easy online and the associates helping me in the store were very attentive and listened to my needs. My car had an oil change, engine air filter change, cabin air filter change, and I went ahead and got my vehicle inspection. They were done with my car in less than an hour and half. I was very satisfied with the work done on my vehicle in a timely manner. A few days later I found a screw in my tire and I called them at 4:30 in the afternoon and they were able to get me in right away. My tire was fixed in like 30 minutes. Very fast and excellent customer service. I always get my vehicle maintenance done at this Firestone.

I went here August 23,2024 for my tires and wheel alignment. However, the wheel alignment and tires were $200 more expensive than my original quote. I denied to get the wheel alignment for this reason. When I got my car back they told me the battery needed to be replaced. I informed them how can that be when I just bought battery from Walmart on 06/23/24. They told me they can only inform me on what the system reads. The next morning my service shift light came. So August 24,2024 I took car to Walmart. I had to wait 3-4 hours at Walmart to get it looked at. Walmart stated they can’t take Firestone word for it. They have to run their own test. When they did it came back all good. I brought this to Firestone attention in person and requested the director get back to me. Firestone has been dishonest in their service to me. Too much proof to show this. But I will avoid this at all costs especially if you are a woman

The WORST Firestone I've ever been to in my life! I sat in this store for 3 hours for a state inspection just for them to tell me I wouldn't pass without two new tires. The Store manager was very rude to every female that he had contact with, but when it came to a man he helped them. He did not try to offer me what two tires I needed for my car so I grabbed my keys and went to another Firestone that showed me much respect and treated me like a person. I will NEVER go to this place again in life! If I could get it 0 stars I would!

They don't honor appointments. I showed up at 5 and they had not started on my car by closing time at 7. Mind you I only needed one tire changed. While I waited, we saw another customer's car started leaking oil as soon as they had finished working on it.

They were very nice, helpful and professional. Unfortunately the rims that we brought them were not the right size but they did not charge us for all the labor to determine that.👍👍

My husband took our car to have a tire sensor changed and they charged him $128 to do it. The guy at Firestone told him that he needed two more and it would be $300, in addition to the $128. My husband went to another shop and they only charged him $48 to get the additional sensor installed . There were not two that were bad. We only needed one more. We will never come back here again!

Came in today for a simple oil change and battery check. Almost 3 hours later, get the vehicle back and they forgot to do the battery check. Now they want to charge me an addition $50 to go back under and check the battery, which they forgot to do in the first place. Very frustrated, would not recommend this shop in the future.

I only needed a tire repair, and I was in and out in just 40 minutes. The pricing was competitive, and there was no pressure to upsell. Overall, it was a great experience!

The staff here is knowledgeable. I use to take my vehicles here for maintenance, I trust their technicians to get the job done. I've come upon an impasse recently at this location. I have a I.I.D. installed on my vehicle, so to service it we needed to submit a mechanic affidavit to the servicer of the device. This is to confirm a legitimate problem needs addressing and the I.I.D. needs to be bypassed. I did the leg work of getting in contact and providing information to my servicer, which is fine. Although, no one answered the phone calls from the servicer. I should have tried somewhere else sooner. I ended up retrying the process 5 times. The manager made some progress the last time. They just weren't going to get it done. Went to Sun Auto and was astounded by their service. It was done in 3 days... Don't come here to service a vehicle equipped with a breathalyzer, it's not worth their time and effort.

In good conscience and for future car owners do not come here or if that any of these Firestone businesses- with shotty mechanics and shady mechanical practices - they will con you if not leave you no choice into purchasing more products because of their shady practices- I went in for a oil pan gasket replacement- did the dye test- knowing and confirming with Al the customers service manager and the tech, that it was my oil pan gasket that needed to be replaced and there was no issue with my drain plug- only to be called later that day and told that my my oil pan needed to be replaced- because the threading is stripped on the drain plug- after receiving pictures you could see that it was tampered with- my only option was to buy a new oil pan from them or they would tow it as is to a location specified. I reached out to Firestone’s customer service - which Seth Byrd responded with absolutely no help- with a sorry response. all I can say is do not go to this location or any other because they’ve clearly done this before to other customers. I hope this helps any future car owners reading this to be weary of this business to shop else where.
