diagnosed my 06 Pilot with a bad PCM, then days later they said the new PCM wasn’t working properly. they sent away for another one, which ended up being problematic as well. they finally got it running but i discovered my pgmfi relay had been swapped with my intermittent wiper relay. 2+2= they misdiagnosed my problem, charged me for the new pcm anyway, and charged me for a new relay even though they didn’t put a new one in. oh and their communication is terrible. i had to call them for updates repeatedly over a few weeks. not only do i not recommend, but ill go out of my way to dissuade people from coming here. do better.

I have been taking my Hondas and Acura to Far East Motor Works since about 1982 or so. I trust Gordon Gray, and I feel he always gives me an honest account of my car maintenance issues. He has told me I have some many more miles on my brakes and rotors, and bring it back then. Most car dealers would not do that. I only have an Acura now that Far East Services, but I am about to break 284000 miles, on the original engine and transmission and clutch.. Far East is a big part of this car lasting so long. Gordon Gray has told me I can drive it past 300,000 K and I believe him. My Acura drives as good as when it was new. Took it on North Georgia roads last week and had a blast. It’s as tight as when it was new also. Thanks

Nice little shop. Staff are very knowledgeable. The prices seemed very fair to me. They changed our spark plugs, some valves, rotated the tires all in a couple of hours. Same day drop off and delivery. Kinda fun hallway waiting room/ reception area. Very tight, but there is complimentary Kcup coffee! Definitely recommend.

Far East has had my car for nearly 4 weeks. It was supposed to be done two weeks ago. When I call for an update, I am told the person who originally helped me has been out sick for a week. Okay, sorry to hear that. But I am on 4th week paying for a rental car, so what is the status of my car? It has not been started, no one knows if the parts come in, the estimate I was given is apparently incorrect. A week ago, I asked for an updated estimate, and was promised a return call, which I am still waiting for. Meanwhile, my car rental is at $1500 and counting, so it will be returned tomorrow. Really disappointed in the communication and seems they will not honor the estimate I agreed to.

I was there the beginning of June, They had no appointments available until July! There's a reason for this. They are honest and do great work. That's what we all want in a mechanic! They still took the time to read the code in my car and gave me advice as to what to do even though they couldn't look at my car.

So it's been awhile since I have had to visit Far East Motorworks for issues with my 2011 Honda CR-Z but as usual problem solved. I would like to Thank Gordon and the shop crew for figuring out the electrical issues that I had going on with my car. I would highly recommend going here if you want courteous and professional service at a very fair price. I can't say Thank you enough!

Far East diagnosed a transmission system problem code on my 2017 Pilot and pointed me back to the dealership to take advantage of a factory extended warranty to replace a defective torque converter. They would not even let me pay for their diagnostic work. I have used them before and will continue to use them in the future. They are always professional and competent.

I have not picked up my car yet but I can say working with Gordon has been a pleasure. They make sure you understand what is going on with your car. They give you options and save you money. The only thing is they are not open on the weekend. Their service is in such high demand that you are not given an appointment a week or two in the future. If you want affordable and experienced service this is your spot.

Great job gentlemen !! Some years ago I got lucky and found out about Far East Motorworks from an owner of a classic 1960’s BMW. He said that he had also owned a Honda Accord and recommended Far East Motorworks very highly. Gordon and all the guys take great care of our Honda Accord Hybrid. If you own a Honda or Acura this business is the best in Atlanta!

Recently purchased 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Made appointment to inspect and bring all maintenance up to spec. Now good as new! Very happy with service and cost so will be back again even though I live in Monroe.
