Forgot to write a review got my oil change done here maybe a year ago I know for sure it was ladies day Wednesday, waited an hour and a half I already knew it was going to be busy with the discount day. Only thing I’m upset about is after the oil change and they showed me where my car was they didn’t fill me till after the fact that they “hammered my hood down because it wouldn’t close properly”. They could’ve just asked before hammering MY CAR and I wouldn’t be as upset. But doing without permission is foul.

I took my Ford escape in for oil and filter change. It was taken care of quickly. The manager, Steve, and the mechanic checked the tires and told me they aging out and needed to be replaced. My 8 yr old car had less than 25K miles but the original tires were not in good shape even though the tread was good. I checked priced for 4 new tires and decided Famous auto was similar price to other auto shops. Famous did a wonderful job and just in time as the tires were falling apart. They have worked on my car for years and I highly recommend them. Thank you Steve. I am happy to trust you and appreciate your honesty and help.

It sucks to have car issues...but I'm glad I am able to take it to this location for repairs. They take pride in their work while making the unfortunate situations feel not as bad. Thank you for fixing my car (hundreds of dollars less than the dealership) and making it safe to drive for my upcoming road trip.

I came in famous to get my car diagnosed and Keri,the young lady working,was very kind and listened to me explain the problems I was having. I was extremely happy with her service. Wow, where do I began. So, I took my car into the shop bc I had service there b4. Today, I went in with my Windshield Wipers freezing while on low mode on the switch. Tech diagnosed that switch needs to be replaced. After he attempted to replace the switch he says that did not fix the issue so referred me to a Electric Auto Repair. After receiving my car back, there was no charge but now the AC and Power Seats are not working, while I'm driving on the way home. This is not no damn coincidence. I called Kerri at the front desk and she tries to defend the reputation of the company instead of giving me District Manager info to file a complaint. I already know what they will say when I take my car back in. " The new issues are not related to the Wiper Switch. I am filing a complaint with BBB and Florida Consumer Protection Bureau.

1 star only because it would not let me enter a review without it. Went in at 1130 for an alignment, was told wait and service time total would be 2 hours. Long story short. 3 hours later waiting at the shop, my car did not even make it inside the shop due to ‘someone else’s problem taking precedent’ Took back my keys and went somewhere else.

I have a code finder so I knew what the code was and the general problem. I used to take all my vehicles to Famous Automotive on San Jose but I moved. I was having trouble getting in to shops because of the waiting time, so I took a chance here and dropped the car off. They pulled the diagnostic test for free and told me what I already knew, but that there were some additional issues. I didn't trust them at first because they were new to me. I checked with other shops for the diagnosis and the price and they were almost $200 cheaper with the same repair! My car is running better than it ever has! They got me in and out in less than 3 hours on a Saturday......again, Famous Automotive has never done me wrong and I highly recommend this location. They were very nice and very understanding.....take your car in today!

I recently brought in my 14 Impala for a second opinion on why my A/C was not working another shop wanted to replace my compressor and quoted me thousands of dollars to replace the compressor and recharge the system so I brought it in to Famous for a second opinion and spoke to Keri she had her Tech Jordan look into it. Jordan found the issue and it was a simple recharging of freon. I gladly paid them for the recharge service and I am a happy customer. I will be back for other services when they arise as it's hard to find an honest shop.

These guys were easy to work with and they took care of my car problem . I arranged to have the front end problem fixed and they took care of and even told me of another up coming problem I will need to have fixed. Will use again when my car has a problem

We called Famous Automotive after discovering a construction staple stuck into our tire. They were able to get us in within an hour and patched the tire all free of charge! I was very impressed with their speed and professionalism. They also clearly care about customer service. Will happily be bringing our cars back to them!

Very impressed with service I received. I brought my Chev Tahoe in to replace turn signal and running light. They had me fixed in minutes. I will be back. I have recommended to friends and family. Excellent Service!!

I had been to 12 shops that morning looking for someone to help me take a look at a sensor under my car. They were all rude, busy, and turned me away. I was about to give up when I saw Famous Automotive and figured I'd give one more shop a try. They were happy to chat with me, friendly, and treated me like family as they immediately got my car up on the lift and helped me diagnose my issue for FREE! I've never felt so thankful for such an amazing experience, it was like a dream come true! I'm so thankful, would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you!

I wish I could give MORE stars. They fixed just what I needed for a decent price and didn't try and sell me on things I didn't need. I will be back again if anything happens.

Had them replace a spark plug for a misfire on cylinder number three. Drove the car 44 miles and it started overheating. Took the car back to them and they said it was the same error code they had supposedly fixed two weeks prior. Was told that I now need a new engine but would not tell me how they come to that conclusion. Had taken my car there for over two years without problems and the manager has changed twice in the last half year and it is horrible. Have now taken my car to a ASE certified JEEP dealership and will definitely submitting results to the !!! And my attorney
