I was referred to this place by a friend of mine. I was told their work is great but more importantly they are honest. As a woman it’s intimidating to walk into a mechanic, but they explained everything to me step-by-step and they were very transparent with their pricing. I went to pick up my car and there were no surprises with the work or the price. I highly recommend them.

So me and my wife went to look at a 2014 Honda cr-v that we were potentially interested in buying. Which looked amazing from the outside. We went to family auto service to do a pre-purchase inspection before buying the car. They were able to find enough problems that made the car not worth buying. It probably would have been 6+ grand to get the car into good condition. They were really honest and straightforward. Also just a shout out to Tate and Taylor. They were the ones that helped us out. I plan on bringing all my cars there for future repairs. Also this is the first review I’ve ever left a company online (if it matters) but their service saved me thousands of dollars. So they deserve 10 out of 5 stars from my point of view.

Tate and the team at Family Auto Service were able to diagnose my car's issue within a couple hours of me having it towed to them. I was essentially a walk in as the dealership wouldn't look at my car for almost a week, and I'm glad that was the case. There were 2 cars ahead of me and they still made sure to get back to me quickly. Tate was very straight forward with the cost of the repair as it was higher than I initially expected and gave me a few options to chose from. Though the repair was a bit costly, it aligned with everything that I found online, and I got a higher quality part than the OEM one (I looked into that as well). Tate even gave me a free oil change because of the repair cost. Family Auto Service has definitely gained a new regular customer!! I'll be heading back there in a couple months for the new tires I already knew that I needed and going forward for my standard maintenance.

Tate was absolutely amazing and got my car fixed in record time. He kept me up to date on what was happening and even showed me what was wrong so I could see the reason for the recommended repairs. By far the best experience I have had with a mechanic.

The crew here is always great. Anyone who has a problem is probably being disrespectful and unkind. Being kind to people goes a long way. The crew here is never pushy, they just give information and recommendations. We have been bringing our 4 vehicles here for years now. The prices are always reasonable and much less expensive than others in the area.

This is my first time leaving a review for any place, but I had to share my experience. I was in the area looking to buy a car and needed a repair shop for a pre-purchase inspection. After calling about 10 shops, I kept getting turned down because their schedules were full or they were closing soon. As a last hope, I called this shop, and even though they were about to close, they told me to bring the car in. The shop officially closes at 6 PM, and I arrived at 5:20 PM. Despite the late hour, three team members inspected the car thoroughly. They found major issues that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise, saving me from making a costly mistake. Their honesty and dedication saved me thousands of dollars. I highly, highly recommend this shop for their exceptional service and integrity. They truly go above and beyond for their customers!

Family Auto helped us out in a very stressful situation. We had a blow out tire and a destroyed rim. Tate and his team helped us fix it completely within hours and at a reasonable price. You can trust them and they definitely made that clear throughout the whole transaction.

I went in to get a pre purchase inspection, I got two good perspectives from the tech and front desk both seemed knowledgeable. Appreciate you guys. Super good costumer service. Very nice front desk. Price was reasonable, they were very thorough , even had an email sent with a pdf with pictures and what not. Very happy with the service I paid for thank you.

I’m active duty Military from about an hour up north… when my car was stranded in San Diego. I called multiple shops around for help and none really even gave me the time of day until I rang family auto service. Not only did they recommend me an extremely cheap and fair price tow truck to get my car in the shop, which was about 30 minutes away, they completed all the work in a single day. My car was in pretty bad shape, and the price to fix it was currently more than I could afford when they compromised on a lesser price for all premium parts to earn my business. I received an awesome military discount. Totally owe it to their crew of helping me out and getting back to my appointed place of duty on time. Thank you Tate!

Hi my name is Shawn Barton I just moved here from Texas. I drive around 70,000 miles a year my my vehicle has been in many different shops in my lifetime From mom and Pop shops to high-end name shops. I have never had this great of experience with a mechanic shop. They truly care about the customer and what they’re working on.. with out Doubt I know they went above and beyond for me and will do the same for you. If I ever have trouble out of one of my vehicles, it will definitely be going to this shop my kids have also seen the great Service and appreciation they have done. If I can give this place less than one star I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Warranty work not completed, I was left with a broken car, my gas tank GUSHING GASOLINE and after three times they still left my car with a major gas leak. I pray you don't ever use this shop under any circumstances. Such a bad experience i filed a report with the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

first of all, I want to give this auto shop 10 more stars for the review. secondly, I want to say that as a young woman in an emergency vehicle situation, the gentlemen that helped me at Family Auto Service could not have been better. Omar was the first person to assist me as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. he took a look at my van, gave me a quick idea of what might be wrong, and got me seen right away. Taylor was who worked on my van and was extremely patient, kind, and detailed when he described what was going on. Tate was not only an exceptional communicator with other clients, but was very kind, friendly, and attentive to me during my visit. I know this is not the experience of everyone in these situations, so I'm hoping to spread the news that these men are exceptionally professional and competent at what they do. This was an ideal experience in so many ways - I can't thank them enough :)

i had a great experience with family auto! they were graciously able to fit me in at the end of the day for a pre purchase inspection. they were quick, thorough, and completely unbiased. great price and great people, i would definitely go back!
