Don't go to this place. The people who works here do not have any uniform response about price for the service. Each one of them are saying different amount and that's just wrong. I can smell rip off.

I recently visited Fairfax Circle Liberty Auto Service for a safety inspection. While the service was fast, I was disappointed by the rude staff and found their pricing to be much higher compared to other nearby locations. Overall, I expected a more customer-friendly experience for the price they charge.

Fairfax Circle Liberty Auto Service is one of the best auto repair shops in Fairfax. I had my car serviced in the shop over decades. It is trustworthy and commendable. They had replaced sparks, ignition coils, and miscellaneous parts of my Honda Civic EX 2005 with high quality works. It’s highly recommended for repair and maintenance services in the area.

I came by on New Year's Eve for an emissions inspection, which they were able to accommodate in less than 30 minutes, after which they pointed out my safety inspection was also expired, and they updated my sticker also in just an additional five minutes. I don't know how they are for mechanical stuff generally, but they definitely did right by me.

Website states safety inspections begin at 9 AM. I drove there and there is a handwritten note that they don’t start until 11:30 AM. The hours online should be updated so customers do not waste their time driving to your location.

Called last week to see how early they could do a state inspection and was told 7 am. Everything also says they open at 7 am! I show up at 7 and No one is there! A man shows up at 730 and tells me they start inspections at 9. And when I try to explain I was told they would do inspection at 7 , he is super cold and rude. Obviously they don’t open at 7 or do what they tell you when you call ahead!! And the place is filthy. Never bother yo use them again, waste of time

I asked for an emissions check and they gave me an inspection, then tried to say that's what I wanted. There was another customer who asked for an inspection and the clerk misheard me and got our orders confused. Instead of admiting his mistake, he gaslit me and then laughed under his breathe at the cash register about it. I will never go here again.

Shop may not look like much from the outside, but these gentlemrn are all competent, knowledgeable heart. They are honest, straightforward, and no BS - and are good to their female customers (not an ounce of slick wheeling and dealing). They've earned their loyal stripes with me. A+++

Totally saved our weekend. My husband and I were stranded on a massive road trip with four misfiring cylinders on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. No shops were open, and we were told the best we could hope for was service the following day. Luckily, Liberty Auto Service was not only open, but immediately took us (despite an impressive backload of cars in the parking lot waiting for repairs) and even discounted the service by a significant amount. After visiting and calling numerous auto repair shops, they gave us the fastest and cheapest repairs around. I highly recommend, as the mechanic there strikes me as honest and friendly. We were on our way again in a few hours!
