I think I've posted a review before, but I can't say enough great things about this business! I dropped my car off this morning with no appointment and knew that it might take a few days. Shawn even told me it might be a few days, fully transparent, but it was fine. I got a text SAME DAY that my car was ready (just needed an oil change). I worked late, it was after 5pm when I knew they closed, so my husband picked me up from work. On our way home, closer to 5:30pm, Shawn and Rebecca called asking if I was going to pick up my car. They literally WAITED for me (yeah I'm a jerk) because they truly knew I need my car. I will never take our vehicles anywhere else, simply based upon their incredible service and genuine care. They are so honest and caring, they deserve Tucson's business. I even wear a shirt they gave me to support the business and I wear it proudly! Reading the bad reviews of this business make me laugh, there are just unhappy people out there and misery loves company. Been coming here for well over 10 years and they continue to exceed my expectations!

The staff was great! they kept a good eye on my car. They noticed the radiator cap was deteriorated and got it fixed. They knew what they were doing.

Edit:// Shawn, presumable, the owner of Express Tune Up & lube @ 777 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85713, has replied to the original message claiming I must not be reviewing the correct place. I am 100% sure I am reviewing the correct place, and I am 100% certain they treated my vehicle like $HIT. "nick" is my nickname. They seem like nice enough people, just not a place I would ever take a vehicle again ✌️ /// I had them rebuild my engine which took about 8 months to complete (Not entirely their fault due to supply chain issues etc.) However, during this entire time they left the hood of my truck open, letting the engine bay get unnecessarily rained on, brutal sun exposure, debris everywhere....all the rubber hoses & fluid reservoirs were in MUCH worse condition when I finally got it back. They returned my vehicle with a severe vacuum leak which I realized after my truck was struggling to climb up a pathetic 10 degree slope. The hoses were brittle & needed to be replaced. If they were paying attention this is something that they could have at least warned me about. & honestly, all that I could have forgiven. But the thing that really screamed incompetence and utter disregard was when I discovered they had forced the wrong size bolts into the valve cover, stripping it out. Lots of other little discoveries illustrating lack of craftsmanship.... I'm just glad they outsourced the engine rebuild & I *pray* that whoever their rebuilder takes more pride in their work than the mechanics at Express T&L. They clearly did not care about my vehicle even a little bit. Based off the work I've seen them do, I wouldn't trust them to screw in a light bulb, much less take care of a vehicle. I'm sure they're good at other things, this just ain't one of em.

First time here, and now the only place we will go! Be aware that this great family-run business is VERY busy, (which tells you better than any review how good they are), so be sure to make an appointment. They were informative, totally up front and clear about the cost, accomodating with the drop off and pick up, and even helped educate us about a truck we've owned for 17 of it's 19 years. Now running beautifully, and vehicle #2 is next. Thank you Express Team!

First time going to Express Tune Up & Lube. The service was excellent. The waiting area had various magazines to pass the time away while waiting. They even provide things to occupy children. Very clean and exceptional customer service. I will definitely be back!

We literally broke down in this guys parking lot. 109 degrees outside with 4 young children. This guy was rude and did not help us. He told my husband he was too busy even though we were willing to pay. My husband walked to the Oriellys down the street and got help there. I would never do business with these guys.

Wow! If you haven't found this hidden gem, you have now. A family owned and managed local business, the service from start to finish was outstanding. Mom, Dad and son all had a hand in changing my oil while traveling from Utah to California. When I return to Tucson 6 months from now, I will make it a point to have this service repeated at Express Tune Up & Lube. Never hesitate to trust this jewel!

They did a good job with giving me some gas milage back. I would not let the area or the construction in the area stop you from getting quality service from a family establishment. Plus they were so reasonably priced in comparison to places 2 miles from home (they are 15 miles away). I definitely will take my vehicle, a 2001 Ford F-150, there in the future.
