I’m very disappointed with Express Auto Repair. After a previous visit for an oil change, I returned for a more serious issue—I had run over something that caused significant damage to my car’s undercarriage. I knew it was misaligned but had no idea of the full extent of the damage. Instead of properly assessing the situation, they proceeded with an alignment, replaced a tire pressure sensor, and advised me to visit the dealership for a transmission leak evaluation—charging me $400 in the process. When I took my car to the dealership, I was shocked to learn that the undercarriage damage was so severe that my car was totaled. I would expect a shop like Express Auto to have the expertise to recognize major structural damage and inform their customers accordingly. Instead, they continued with unnecessary repairs and took my money, knowing that the vehicle was severely damaged. They should have stopped all work and directed me to the dealership immediately, rather than profiting from a situation that was already bad enough. As a result, I’ve wasted $400 on a car I can no longer drive, and now I have to buy a new one. I feel taken advantage of, and I will not be returning. This is not a great way to treat someone—especially a military service member.

The team at the Express Auto Montebello location are quick and thorough! Garrett was informing me every step of the way from timeframe on when they would be able to look at my car, the breakdown of their inspections, his recommendations and when I would have my car back. I especially love the itemized list of repairs with photos included. I ask a lot of questions about everything so being able to look through this list and narrow down those questions helped me understand the repairs and charges. I had my car back quicker than I anticipated and running better than when I purchased it!

Went in for an estimate, their price was outrageous so I went elsewhere. Since then I've been bombarded with texts, emails, flyers, the whole nine yards. That's not marketing that's harassment.

I am so happy to have Express Auto Care as my mechanic! The customer service is great and they are always able to get my vehicle in promptly (especially when it needs attention right away)! They also check in with me to see how my vehicle is doing after repairs have been made, which shows they actually care about their work! I highly recommend them for all your car needs!

Unfortunately, I have to change my review for a second visit Got charged $300 for a brake inspection. 2 hours labor for a job that literally takes 15 minutes per tire. [Remove wheel, capiler, and rotor]?? Most shops provide a brake inspection free for 4 wheels. This $300 charge was for 2 wheels Though this was a great shop, I was wrong, and I won't be back *********************** Excellent service, rides provided, great value

Wow. Talk about fast diamond level service. Brought my car and my moms car here on multiple occasions. Every time Garrett takes amazing care of us ! After each visit my car runs smooth like I just bought it off the lot. I take my car across state lines from the here to FL and my car runs amazing! One occasion I busted a tire, since my previous visit I replaced all four tires I received a warranty with NAPA. The tire was replaced at no cost! I originally heard of Express ARS from my extended warranty I placed on my vehicle. Each visit my car did have to stay overnight, however Express ARS got me a Lyft home and another to come pick up my vehicle at no cost to me. That was extremely nice of them. I usually go to Firestone to get work done on my car but that has changed fast. I could go to other companies with my extended warranty. I have pages of options however no one has paid for a ride for me while getting my car worked on ! The prices are fair with or without the warranty. Express ARS is a great place and trusted by me ! 10/5 stars !
