Great service. Ran diagnostics on my car and when i was told that my issue was caused by a known bad part that was covered under a recall, I was told that there would be no charge since they weren’t able to take care of it in house. Then they got me info for the nearest dealership and helped me get an appointment

I have been very pleased so far with the services performed at Express Auto! The team does great work - I have had routine maintenance (for my previous vehicle, as well as my new one) completed as well as vehicle issue troubleshooting and subsequent repairs, and the prices are fair for the services rendered. Shoutout to Byler for being a fantastic point of contact and communicator!

Pros: Gave me an Uber to home and back to the shop Friendly service Same day service Cons: Outrageously overpriced? I went in after my check engine light came on and car is now driving very well. This, to their credit was in the span of approximately 5 hours. When I went in I paid a $139 diagnostic fee. That already raised a red flag in my head as many other places I'd been previously the diagnostic was often free or at least priced much lower. When I was sent the estimate this raised another few flags. As they mentioned they thought my oil needed changing, but I already got the oil changed 900 miles ago. As well as the air filter which I was pretty sure I had changed at my last oil change. I won't say the total amount I paid but it was approximately half the cost I had already paid for the car (2016 Toyota corolla). Another red flag but I was desperate and needed a car asap. I spoke with friends about the amount I paid and they both believed I'd been ripped off. I mentioned to the man I spoke to today I wasn't mechanically inclined and feel like he mightve taken advantage of that. Get a second opinion before you decide here. Edit (response to owner): and give you another chance to charge me for services I don't need? No thanks.

Update: Byler is great. He's the reason I keep returning. He explains complex car things to me in a way that an idiot could understand, and that resonated with me, for some reason. He's quite trustworthy and can offer discounts when applicable! They were able to squeeze me in, and I knew how much I'd pay before they even started working. No weird extra charges or added delays. Thanks for taking care of me!

Fantastic service all the way through. I was well past due on maintenance for my 2016 Nissan Rogue and not sure exactly what would need to be done, but Byler and his team gave me a thorough inspection (complete with pictures and notes) and talked me through my options with pricing estimates for each -- The total bill actually came out about $100 less than what they had quoted me. They even covered my Uber ride home from the shop (and offered to cover a ride back, but I already had someone available to drop me off) so that I could get back to work while they took care of my car. Byler was very transparent the whole time and never once tried to sell me on additional services. I'll definitely come back to these guys if I need work done on my car in the future.

I appreciate this shop a lot, as they genuinely go above and beyond for their customers, they make something potentially very stressful a lot less stressful and they’re reliable. They treat people respectfully and don’t talk down to people at all, I don’t have to worry about them hiding things or leaving out information, they do their research. I’ve never been happier with a shop for how they conduct business and I wish way more auto shops would be like this one

I took my car in for an alignment and much to my surprise they didn't give a detailed list of things I needed to get fixed unlike other places I have been to. They had my car serviced in the time that was scheduled..they have restored my faith in auto shops. A thumbs up to Lance who answered all my questions and just being friendly. Thanks Lance. I would definitely recommend this shop if you need work done on your vehicle! 🙂

I've taken my car to Express Auto Repair for a brake job and oil service on 2 different occasions and have been so pleased with the service. My car even ran out of gas in their shop and they went the extra mile (literally) to put gas in it and get me going at no extra charge. Great, knowledgeable people!

I had my 2016 ram 2500 towed to the galley location with a blown motor. Byler and his team quickly discerned the cause of the failure and offered a “good, better, or best” solution. This is a company vehicle so getting approval to do the engine replacement was taking a long time. They kept my truck safe for me until I decided to have it towed to our site rather than sit in their lot taking up space. They coordinated with the tow truck company and even processed my payment over the phone which kept me from having to take time off of work to handle. I will be bringing our fleet vehicles as well as my personal vehicles to them in the future .

Oct 2024 This is a review of Express Auto Service. They have two shops, this review is for the shop on Galley. My husband and I are new customers to this shop. I took my van in to have the A/C compressor replaced and the oil changed. My husband a former mechanic, liked their work and put our van back in their shop 2 weeks later to have the motor mounts and CV Joints replaced. While great work is worthy of a great review, to me great people behind the work are also worthy of a 5 star review. Seth my mechanic did and awesome job in a safe and timely manner. Byler the shop manager stayed in constant contact with me. This is my only vehicle. Byler arranged my transportation (Uber) back and forth from the shop to my home. There is no cost for this. There is a wonderful lady that works in the office ( I can’t remember her name) she answers the phone when Byler is with a customer or on the phone. No answering machines during shop hours. She is a friendly as can be and you makes you feel like you are the only customer they have. Very attentive staff no matter how busy they are. Pricing is up front you know before you turn your keys over what the price will be. If something comes up they Call or text you FIRST and get your permission. NO SURPRISE increase in the bill when you pick up your vehicle. Although they are busy they always made room to get me in within 24 hours of calling. Rick the shop owner helped me out in a big way with a repair issue. A bolt broke after the repair of the motor mounts that caused one of the motor mounts to fail. He not only covered the replacement of the motor mount under warranty he replaced at his cost the specialized bolt (not related to the original repair) and provided all the labor and cost of the replacement bolt. I was set to leave on a trip out state and he prioritized my van to get it done for me before the day I was to leave. He covered out of his own pocket to replace the specialized bolt and the hours of labor to drill out the old one and put in the new one and put another new motor mount in. This company stands behind their work and does what it takes to keep their customers safe on the road. I can’t say thank you enough for your great service. It says more that words can express to your character and honesty. It’s not impossible to find businesses in this day and age that love what they do and care about the people they work for. If your looking for a great auto repair shop look no further. Give Byler a call he will set you up.

My experience was top notch! From my initial phone call, I was confident they would take care of me. I went to them for a presale inspection, and Byler did an excellent job explaining to me the condition of the car I was about to purchase. He and his mechanic did an excellent job inspecting the car, explaining the few areas needing to be addressed, and giving me a detailed report. This helped me have negotiating power with the dealership. Byler was the best, so I highly recommend them for your auto needs!

Byler always takes care of me anytime I have an issue that I cant fix myself. Its not a guarantee by any means but in most of my cases I've had he has gotten me in the shop on the same day!! Great customer service and a fair price every time!! Thanks again to the whole team!

Brought my car here for an evaluation before giving it to my son. He is learning to drive and we wanted to make sure we passed him a sturdy vehicle. They did the evaluation let us know things were well taken care of, but beyond that they marked down upcoming needs the car would have, future oil changes, spark plug changes, transmission fluid dates, and send us emails when time comes around to get those things checked. I feel like my son is safe and his car is being well cared for by a company that checks in and helps us monitor long term!

Byler and his crew are friendly, professional, and diligent. I have taken my truck here twice. The first time, I thought I needed all four brakes replaced. He advised me I only needed two of them done. The second time was my 100,000 mile maintenance which was completed in under 1 day.

Not only did they take me in right away, the bought me an Uber (twice) and got my car up and running for the long drive to California. Anyway, very honest and professional. They took what could have been a horrible obstacle to our cross country move and made it an easy fix. Recommend 100%

Dropped by to have my windshield wipers looked at, I wasn’t feeling confident about what to look for if they were needing to be replaced.. however! Byler was attentive, quick and thorough with looking at my wipers and although they didn’t need to be repaired, he took the time and care to share with me what to look for and features on my current blades that made them hold up so well. I am beyond appreciative for this excellent customer service and educational moment! Super professional which I loved! When the time comes for my wipers to be replaced I will 100% be coming back!

This is an amazing shop and the owners and staff are the best! From the minute you walk into the shop you are treated like family. Byler is on top of customer service and you can't find that at most shops. You can't go wrong with their quick and thorough assessments.
