I've had automatic transmissions rebuilt there many years past in my '85 and '05 Chevy trucks and was very pleased both times. The rebuilt units are stronger than they were when they left the factory new.

I live in North Louisiana and was visiting a relative in Houma. I thought I had a transmission leak and took my vehicle to Expert Transmission in Houma. Originally, I was told that it would be next week before they could look at my vehicle. Jason understood my dire situation and looked at it the same day I left it there. As it turned out, I did not have a transmission problem. I had my oil changed recently and the oil drain plug was loose and dripping. Jason added oil and that was all I needed! I would recommend Expert Transmission to anyone. Jason was respectful and resolved my problem in a timely manner and most of all, he was honest! He was a true blessing to me and I’m so grateful that I found their business!

best transmission shop in the South, everyone was very knowledgeable with every question I had, they had it for about a week only because of parts were scares at the time, ita been almost 2 yrs now and Trans still like new.

Absolutely awesome job. They found the parts I needed cheaper than I could find them and had everything ready to go in no time. My clutch is so smooth and everything shifts so easy it's like I have a whole new truck. Very clean and organized shop too. Highly recommended.
