These guys will scam you. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Each time my husband called, he spoke with a different person, who gave a different price, as well as a different diagnostic. On top of trying to upcharged the price they originally quoted. They will double their estimates and do not honor their prices. Will not be returning. In response to your message. I'm not mad about the $50 that you apparently not fully trained guy quoted us. I'm mad that as soon as you realized we needed a new battery our quote went up an additional $600 making the grand total over $1300. All For A Battery that cost anywhere between $175 and $245 (depending on where you order it from) and takes 10 seconds to swap out. So price gouging a freaking battery by an additional $355 to $425 (again depending on where you get the battery from) and speaking to more than 2 people who clearly don't know how to communicate with each other is in FACT A SCAM.

They try to scam you. I got an estimate for a starter and after they had it for a few days running diagnostics I got a call from a salesman telling me it was going to be around $600 dollars more... just for a battery. Somehow they wanted to add $600 in parts and labor just for a battery. Funny thing is the battery needs to be unhooked to change the starter so it's crazy they wanted to charge labor at all, much less hundreds of dollars. The sales guy was very pushy and tried to convince me I wouldn't be able to get it home or change the battery myself. When I called him out on his BS he had a bunch of new lies to try and cover his tracks. I got them to honor the original estimate, but when I talked to a tech today he said they wouldn't know if the battery was bad or not until they finished installing the starter? Is it bad or not? I still don't know. I'm going to have it tested somewhere else for free with free installation (pretty much everywhere that sells car batteries offers this service). Don't trust these clowns, they get you in with a "free" tow, then double their estimate and if you don't like it now you're on the hook for the tow and have to tow it somewhere else. Never again. I'm sure their tricks work well on old ladies and single moms. I don't know how they sleep at night. Update: So I guess this guy is calling me a liar. To anyone reading this review before deciding to use this company, notice how he immediately throws his tech under the bus saying the miscommunication is his fault. He did this while I questioned him as well. I really liked the tech I first talked to. He walked me through the estimate step by step, looked up the parts on the computer with me on the phone, and even accounted for the core charge on the starter. I wonder if your techs ever read these reviews and see you blame them for your own mistakes. Either way to anyone reading this review it is my word against his and you have to decide for yourself. Let's hypothetically say that he is right and that I am lying. According to his version I called in and talked with a new tech who under quoted me by $50. I thought this estimate was reasonable and let them tow my vehicle to their shop for free. They take a day to diagnose it, then on the second day I am called by the manager who tells me what is wrong with my vehicle but that it will be an additional $50. This upsets me so much that I decide not to have them do the work. I want to pay them the $150 for the diagnostics and have my vehicle towed at my own expense to another mechanic where I will probably be charged another diagnostics fee. The manager informs me that the diagnostic does not count and services rendered and that I will have to also pay for the original tow. He calms me down and works with me, giving me an even better deal than the original quote (which was already under priced by $50). I agree to have the starter replaced, but decline their kind offer to change the battery even though they discounted it even further! Obviously, I am a very unreasonable person who would want to spend hundreds of dollars to take my vehicle to another mechanic just so I don't have to do business with the scoundrel who tried to swindle me out of $50 whole dollars. The End.

This place has been my go to for years. Everyone else said it'd be a few days to get my car checed out, but not Exo! Same day and had a game plan by the end of it. Will still be mygo to for years to come!

A six star review We had purchased a car in colorado springs and we were 500 miles from home. The electronic power steering clunked out on a thursday or friday evening, just before we planned to leave for our 500 mile trip back. There was a blizzard and no way it was safe to drive back without power steering. After calling around many shops and none being able to fit us in until monday and ready to just dig in for the blizzard, we finally came across this shop and spoke to the owner. The owner made it clear his employees would prioritize this due to the nature of it. I am mechanically inclined and the amount of time it took for them to diagnose and perform the repair was elite. The repair was completed same day upon the shop receiving the replacement part. This also saved us on shop hours. This saved us on additional nights in our hotel as well as peace of mind and a weight off our shoulders; it is extremely stressful having your newly purchased car have issues, especially when you live in a different time zone. This week after a year of ownership we have sold our car. We will never forget the gesture EXO Auto did for us and are proud to say we will always have a shop we trust should we ever have an issue in the colorado springs area, or ever have a vehicle we want inspected prior to purchase. Our vehicle was a Lexus but I would feel comfortable bringing any vehicle here as they were working on everything (trucks, BMW, Volvo, American, lifted, and even Tesla's)

Brought my 1991 Isuzu Trooper here for a transmission diagnosis (rattle in gear on decel). They gave an awesome, detailed diagnosis compared to elsewhere, complete with photos. Their prices are also much lower than elsewhere, so I had the work done with them (rear main, clutch, input shaft seal). It was in the shop for about 5 weeks, some amount of that due to getting the parts which are hard to find on this old thing. The original estimate was about a week. Unfortunately after that, when they pulled it out of the shop I was told the timing belt tensioner slipped and my engine valvetrain is now seized. The truck had had a loose timing belt when I bought it, then I'd replaced it myself about 1600mi ago. Bad luck I guess that the belt fully gave while in their hands, but it is now going to leave the shop on a tow truck. They offered to help me out with any questions later on as I attempt to DIY fix it from here. They also offered me a free tow home if I leave a google review so here I am. Overall I had a good experience in spite of my truck perishing there. Nice fellas.

I am from Wichita ks and had bought a car in Colorado Springs. The following day the power steering went out after changing a battery. I had called multiple shops and no luck. Thankfully i stumbled across the number to this place and with 30 minutes to close they told me to come on in. I limped the car in and within 20 minutes they diagnosed it ordered the part and had it done within a few days.. “ in the middle of a blizzard”They were very kind and helpful and got me back home as fast as possible. I highly recommend! They definitely know what they are doing and go above and beyond. Not to mention very kind and reasonable!

Called this shop after getting an insane job quote from a local dealership. Dropped off my F150 the next morning. Exo was able to do the job for half of what the dealer was quoting including parts. Work was quick and well done. Very professional, easy to work with, and honest. I’m newer to the area and they have solidified them selves as my go to mechanic for all future jobs.

Our van needed a new engine. EXO worked tirelessly with the warranty company we purchased with the car. When the claim was denied, John and his team continued to help get our van back up and working, regardless of the challenges it presented. Had to escalate to repair pal to have my maxcare warranty agreement honored. If you have a carmax warranty and he tries to charge you extra, go to repairpal partner relations and escalate, they'll take care of you.

Had my truck worked on here, been referred to this shop by my family and friends and they did not let me down one bit. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that needs a shop that is reliable and takes care of not just your car but also you. Honest and hard working shops like these are hard to come by, if u had any doubts with shops, or where you should go to get your vehicle fixed or just general maintenance this is the place. They took care of me and my truck and for that I am grateful.

We've taken our vehicles to them for a few years now. They're reasonably priced and when they quote us for the work, it's usually for more than we end up paying which is so nice and they're very professional!!
