Best auto shop in town. Nice and professional guys. I discovered this shop after visiting a few auto shops that they didn't want to work on hybrid vehicles. I was having trouble with the brake system. The problem was solved using a professional tool and they didn't charge me any fee. I'm really grateful.

out of every auto shop i have ever been too this is the first one that I trust. The people are great and actually try to help and explain what is wrong. I feel like normally when I go to other places, I feel like they are trying to scam or overcharge, but not here. This is my go to spot from now on.

This is the best auto repair shop in town! I had a headlight that was out on my car. I went to the Honda service center, spent two hours waiting for them to tell me the entire housing needed to be replaced and that they had to order a part from Dallas that wouldn't be there till the next day. I come down to Excalibur and they had my headlight working in less then thirty minutes and for a FRACTION of the cost. No bs type of mechanics that will get you exactly what you need.

Both times I've brought my vehicle here it's been diagnosed and repaired ahead of schedule. Super friendly and efficient service, and pricing seems fair. Hoping nothing else goes wrong with my car, but if it does I'll be coming back here!

We have been long term customers of Excalibur for 30+ years - even back to their prior location. We have taken multiple cars and trucks to them through the years. They have also taken great care of my 88 year old father’s vehicles and he still goes to them for every oil change. They are honest and very trustworthy. They have great customer service and have been very helpful when we have questions.

Got a flat tire and had AAA tow my car to Excalibur because they’re AAA approved and closest to home. Brad and James walked me through the process and gave me options for the new tire. Even put on the spare so I could do my business instead of waiting around. Got my new tire in quick and gave me a discount on my bill. Fast, friendly service at Excalibur!

I brought my ford mustang in for some suspension work such as control arms, and sway bars, and a times of driving it later noticed an issue with shaking brought it back in they said everything was fine, but it happened again so like the previous time I took it in they said it was fine again, but then I moved to Dallas, and now I had problems with my passenger control arm the bolt for the bushing, and the bushing itself was loose, and had to take it to a shop to have it repaired. So I paid around $1200 for the repairs from Excalibur, and now another $450 from the shop I took it to! I highly recommend checking the technicians ASE certifications of the technician here!

Honest and trustworthy! Fixed our company's van with a straightforward harness fix. Another (and unrelated) stealership quoted us thousands for unneeded things, these guys don't try to take you for a ride. Will be our mechanics moving forward!

So thankful for this shop. They’re always fair, honest, and never try to “upsell”. The guys working are always incredibly nice, efficient, and (as a woman) it’s such a relief to walk into a mechanic without having to worry if you’re going to get overcharged just bc you identify as a female. These guys are the BEES KNEES! Cannot recommend enough!

Fast and Wonderful Service I had my Prius towed there and the next day they had diagnosed the problem quickly. They even worked with my third party warranty. I felt like Mike and James were quick to communicate with me throughout the entire process. Price was great, and the service was excellent. I’m glad I found an honest repair shop in the Austin area

I have a mechanical & electrical back ground thru the military & college, plus working on motors/engines and electronics since my teens. I have done all my auto repairs myself. Just recently I had an issue with my vehicle dealing with a “Check Engine” light. After reading the code it showed the EGR valve needed to be replaced. My vehicle was running fine at the time, just that damn check engine light. Easy enough, acquired new EGR valve, replaced…and done! While doing the repair I noticed on the electrical connector to the Throttle Position Sensor, all of the wires were bare and could be making contact, acquired replacement “Pig Tail” and changed it. Doing so it only made my problem worse. The engine would start, but ran so ruff, and would only idle with no acceleration. An issue I have never run across before. After countless hours of scouring the web, making calls to my auto mechanic friends to figure this issue out, no solution found. Had my vehicle towed to a shop I know, but the guys there told me this was an issue above and out of their skillset. Said it was electrical and possibly needed to replace the PCM. Being in Austin for over 25 years I have been to a few different shops for different reasons and have not found one I trust. Searching the web, I found Excalibur Automotive Repair and chose them based on reviews. I spoke to Mike on the phone advised him what I had done, and how the vehicle was acting. He said get it to the shop and I’ll get my guys to check it out. So, after like the third towing job, I got my vehicle over to Excalibur and handed Mike my keys. Expecting an expensive repair estimate involving the replacement of my PCM. To my surprise Mike called me the next day to inform me my vehicle was done and running fine. The cost was under $200. Mike’s guys double checked all my work and found I had switched two wires to the TPS. “In my defense all of the wires were NOT color coded on that new pig tail.” Awesome trouble shooting. So now, I have found a very trust worthy and awesome auto mechanic shop here in Austin. Mike, I wish I would have known about your shop years ago. You guys ROCK! Keep up the excellent service.
