Michael and the Ewing team took my call the evening before, got me in the next morning, and had the car back to us at the end of that same day. We spoke throughout the day on the issues and how I wanted to proceed and the pricing was more than fair. Michael came highly recommended from another trustworthy person and I'll be going with Ewing from here out for car related matters. It's hard to know who to trust and whether or not you're getting ripped off (see service department at Toyota) and I already feel more comfortable with Ewing. Thanks team!

Can’t say enough about Michael and his team at Ewing Automotive! They took on a project for me with my 1997 Isuzu Rodeo (blown and cracked head and gasket) and absolutely crushed it ! Their attention to detail with not only the apparent issue but other minor issues with vehicle tells me this is place to go for my other 3 vehicles as well , I would recommend Ewing Auto for any issue with vehicles that others wouldn’t even touch , I truly appreciate their professionalism (everyone I interacted with there) , enthusiasm and most importantly their honesty , communication is top notch , thank you Michael and the Team at Ewing Automotive!

I have used this location twice now and can’t say how grateful I am to have found them. Each experience I have had with Ewing Automotive has been amazing. Micheal and his team had exceptional customer service, were very knowledgeable, efficient, and can get the job done in a great turn around. They took great care of my car and informed me of what they found along the way. They even helped me get a good deal and never tried to over charge me or tried to pressure me into anything. Michael explained to me what was up with my car in detail so that I felt like I had a better understanding of what needed to be done (mind you I know nothing about cars, so this was extra helpful). They even stayed later to make sure you get your car back before they close their gate. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of the work they have done for me, and I recommend them to anyone who needs car services. If I could give them more stars out of 5 I would.

Ewing Automotive is simply the best auto repair shop/car mechanic in San Antonio. They have a teacher mindset, go above and beyond in making sure one's car is doing well. They are very experienced in European cars. Excellent customer service through and through, extraordinarily friendly staff, fair pricing that honours military families. I can't recommend them warmly enough.

I had a pretty hefty amount of work to be done on my Pontiac, not to mention it was incorrectly identified by a previous shop. It was a significantly heavy weight off my mind however when Micheal and his team identified the issue correctly and was very attentive through the coming days of repair, even offering me rides home and picking me up as I really am not a made of money guy. I've had a ton of terrible mechanics, seriously. This shop restored hope in me for good, hardworking and honest mechanics who actually care about their customers.

Stop researching car repair shops and save Ewing Automotive. Service the way it use to be and should be. Promptly assessed the problem and presented full service plan with pics. And the follow up? I came to the shop without a scheduled appointment because my driver side window would not roll down. They fixed that and then started looking for a door because my door handle was broken. They could not find a door but are still looking. The shop was clean and the mechanics were all friendly - all in all, a very nice experience.

Brought my sons 2010 328xi from another well known mechanic shop in town (Cambridge). After these guys had it for over 2 months and the bill kept getting higher by the week finally made the decision to remove it from there when they told me my windows and lights weren’t functioning anymore. They wanted me to pay for the repairs that they broke That’s when I said enough and brought it over to Ewing automotive. I was recommended to Ewing by my place of work when I ask the shop foreman if he knew of a good mechanic. I work in a construction company and the shop manager told me to bring it here because he brings all his trucks here for repairs. The shop foreman Michael here at Ewing was very professional and kept texting and updating me with all the info that I needed to know. This great shop not only had my sons car up and running within a week they also charged me the low end of what I had search would be the estimated price and it was a few hundred dollars from highest to lowest. They saved me a few hundred and most of all the frustration and headaches of the other shop. This is one shop that I will recommend to all people because Ewing was professional, organized, and the price was right. My go to mechanic shop from here forward. Thank you guys, and a big Ty to Michael.

I was very satisfied with the whole process. They sent me all the details of the repairs needed, their urgency for repair and the price. The repairs were made within the estimated time and the price was the price quoted. There were no surprises and I was very satisfied with the work.

The manager Mike is absolutely one of the best and extremely honest mechanics I have ever had in my 60 years and those qualities rub off on all the other mechanics working on my vehicle for the last 3 times it needed work.

They took great care of my car. They kept me informed each step is the way and did not try to over charge me or make me pay for something I didn’t need. Luckily they fix was just my tire and resetting sensors instead of engine with I was afraid was needed. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Updated review July 2024 Took 2008 Volvo XC90 in for a SRS Airbag code and oil change. They were able to reset the codes ..most likely triggered when I had headliner redone and upholstery shop earlier in the month. Michael and the team were able to get everything done in about two hours and get me back on the road. Everything to date is working fine. If you have a Volvo or another vehicle, highly recommend them for your car service needs. Also I hear they have a new location over near Universal City area that you may want to visit if your in that area. Congrats on the expansion!!!
