I bought an heirloom '71 Mercedes 280s (I am the second owner) and was pretty much in the dark about what it needed. Joe and Bob sat and listened to my entire story, and then made a game plan. They did everything they could to make the cost palatable for me, and the work they did was outstanding! Communication and ongoing commitment to the vehicle matter to me, and these guys are the BEST!

Was looking for a repair shop for my ‘88 560 SL. Wanted someone that understands and appreciates the vintage aspects of a classic. After visiting several shops and a strong referral from a competitor, I found European Star - Mercedes Enthusiasts! So happy with all aspects of customer service, repairs, follow up and my Benz has a new shop that cares for it as much as I do. Joseph and the team are 5 stars for sure!

Oops! Forgot to add the 5 Star rating to my review.Thanks guys! European Starr saved our butts. On our trip from Canada, our MB Sprinter Roadtrek went into limp mode on I 75 late at night. Searching online we read positive reviews about European Starr and gave it a go. Joe squeezed us in for the next day and promptly found the issue. We were kept updated on the progress during servicing and even got multi point inspection report at no charge. Friendly, courteous and professional, I highly recommend European Starr. Thanks also to service mechanic Andreas.

We have a small fleet of Mercedes sprinters and metris for our mobile technicians. One of our most used sprinters needed a small repair but it required the vehicle to be out of commission. Joe at European Starr really came through for us. The parts were ordered within an hour of our first call and the repairs were completed very quickly on the scheduled service day. Very fair pricing for the quick service we received. We were able to work around our busy techs schedules and not lose any jobs because European Starr came through for us. This was our first time using these guys, but we’ll be back for maintenance on all our Mercedes Sprinters and Metris

Guys at the shop are great! They diagnosed an oil leak on my car that apparently was caused by work done at another shop in town. Fixed that problem and took care of a couple of other issues for me and did a great job. Will definitely be going back for future service.

I am so proud to write this review of European Starr and its entire team of mechanics. Personally I have followed the manager, Pete Conry to all of his places of employment and he has serviced all of the cars my family drives or has driven; and am happy to also call him a friend. He is so good. He is sharp, direct, and pulls no punches. He is also extremely fair and will not sugar coat anything at issue with your car. He is a man of solid ethics and is very hardworking. He meshes very well with the team he leads and he is as funny as they come. I live in another state up North and had no confidence in any of the shops I took my Mercedes Benz GLE 350 in to for service. I made the trip to Florida most specifically to have Pete see to its total service. He put Andreas on my ride. Andreas is (I believe) German and has a deep knowledge of German vehicle mechanics due to the history that country has with producing high end vehicles. Andreas did an excellent job addressing every issue I had and I drove my car back up North and she rode as if brand new. I also had an issue with a broken window and they worked as a team to contort themselves to get the glass out of the door which rattled around, and touched up some dings that come with street parking up North. Do we have choices in where we eat, buy our groceries or clothes? Absolutely, but you can go almost anywhere and have a fair outcome. However, if you want an exceptional outcome and your car serviced by a team of professionals who know what they are doing on a deep level, who like and respect each other, do not demean any customer by talking over their heads or down to them, provide accurate and extremely fair pricing and will not gaslight you to make money, then know your vehicle service needs will be best met at European Starr. Based on my experience I am confident that new customers will be extremely happy with their outcomes as well.

I came here based on previous reviews about the shop being honest, fair, and knowledgeable. I had such fun with these gentlemen while waiting for my car. Andres did an excellent job of explaining everything to me and gave me recommendations to extend the life of my car without trying to sell me things I don't need. I can't say I've ever been loyal to a car shop, but I would only take my Mercedes here for any future needs. Also - if you like dogs - Turbo will take good care of you, too. Thanks to Peter and his team for such a great experience!

I have relied exclusively on European Starr to service a Mercedes 1969 280SL I bought 2 years ago. I have always found them very professional and experienced as well as a pleasure to deal with on a personal level. They also have an excellent network for the sourcing of items needed to maintain a classic car, including hard-to-come-by items. Overall they are an integral part of my continued enjoyment of my car.

I took my recently purchased late model pre-owned MB to European Starr to diagnose and repair the source of a front end rattle. While the car was with them they diagnosed an additional problem and researched it to find it was the subject of a post warranty MB recall. They took the car to the MB to get the recall work done for no charge and returned the car to me with both issues fixed. My total bill was less than the original estimate for just the front end work. I could not be more pleased that European Starr was recommended to me by a car savvy acquaintance and I will be taking this car and my 1968 250sl to them exclusively.

I unfortunately caught my mailbox on the passenger side mirror on my 2018 - E300, broke the indicator light and put a large scratch on the shell. I found European Star's website and dropped bye last Tuesday to get a price. Pete, Joe and Alex were incredibly helpful and all had a good sense of humor. Pete was able to give me a great price that was substantially cheaper than the dealer's. I took the car in on Thursday at 9:00 am and picked it up at 4:30 on Friday after the paint was dry. The paint job was incredible and the new light worked perfectly. European Star will be my go-to-place for all my future service needs. THANKS GUYS!!!

If you own a mercedes, especially older ones, there is no other place to go! European Starr was recommended to me by another automotive service as experts in vintage mercedes, and being an owner of a 1987 300sdl, European Starr is exactly what I was looking for. I spoke with Pete on the phone, he was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. As a former mechanic, it's nice to talk to someone who's willing to talk to you about your car. When I brought the car in I was introduced to Andreas, a mechanic who trained in Stuttgart with Mercedes back in the '80s, he was incredibly attentive, and listened to everything I had to say about the things I had done to the car - being a former mechanic can be a dangerous thing to the present mechanic lol - he listened and we discussed different things that could be wrong. Needless to say the car is fixed, they were able to get a part that is literally impossible to get, pricing was fair, honest, and the work done was beyond exceptional! I talked with Andreas for probably 30 to 40 minutes before dropping the car off, and even after paying the bill, he took me into his shop, showed me the diagrams that he used, what he had done, how he had diagnosed what turned out to be a waterfall of events, and I feel safe in saying there are very few mechanics around today that could work on a mid-80s Mercedes and deal with everything that he had to deal with to get the car fixed. I honestly believe most mechanics would have thrown their hands up in the air, and said you're on your own I wish I could give them more than five stars, they are the real deal. Thank you pete, andreas, and everyone at European starr!

Pete is the mechanic who has done the repairs on my 1984 Mercedes-Benz. This was my second visit, primarily because I'd noted thick rust on the interior of my fuel tank and it was clogging my fuel lines. The thickness of the rust forced Pete to find a used one. Beforehand, I had looked online and found used fuel tanks for $400-$1000 and the shipping was approx. between $150-$350. Now Pete could have found one for top dollar but he kept the auto awhile in order to save me some money. So he installed the tank he located, he replaced the fuel screen, the fuel feed lines, and the fuel filters. He apparently rebuilt the fuel primer pump because it was leaking. I don't know if it was the sealing ring or something more leaking, but I have to trust him on that expense. So two weeks later, it was completed, but finding and installing parts on the classic cars can be expensive and frustrating. Including parts, labor and tax, the final bill was $1499.05. I'm no expert but I think that's a good and fair price. I have to give European Starr five stars
