Called with a small brake light issue on my Mercedes. The dealer had told me no appointment for 3 weeks. Another place said one week. This place? "Sure, come by whenever!" So I went in 20 minutes later. The man was super nice. Fixed my problem in about 3 minutes and threw a new part on, explaining the issue to me. Sent me off without charging me. I will be returning with all of my car issues. It is exciting to know there is a great shop in town to fix a Mercedes!

I love my 1999 e320, and now I can keep it forever because I discovered Izzy Dropped off my car, he locked up the shop and drove me home! A day later it’s ready plus he took care of a few other items I hadn’t mentioned! A Christmas Miracle!

Best mechanic in town. Izzy was upfront about everything that needed to be done even though it was a very difficult fix on a 745 BMW. It was a very complicated fix and Izzy had my car done in just a few days. I can’t say enough good things about this business and would recommend it to anyone.

If six stars were an option, I would give that rating to European Automotive Specialists (EAS). My experience with EAS and its owner, Izzy, has been the best I've ever had with an auto-repair business. I recently brought my eight-years' mothballed '91 Volvo, in need of a complete once-over, to EAS after being disappointed by the service of a well-known St. Louis foreign-car specialist. I didn't have an appointment, but Izzy greeted me warmly and stopped his work to make a quick assessment of my vehicle. I was able to leave the car, and Izzy agreed to conduct a complete mechanical review by the close of the following business day. As promised, by the end of the next day Izzy made contact and advised that he had completed his review and identified a number of issues affecting the car's roadworthiness. I went to the shop, where Izzy carefully walked me through the various issues and provided a labor and parts estimate. As the list was, not surprisingly due to the car's age and years of non-use, extensive--everything from brakes, to transmission and differential repair, to timing-chain/water pump replacement--he explained he would need a few days. A day ahead of schedule, he called to tell me the work was complete. I took the car for a test drive and found that it was now running as well as it ever had--and that it was cleaner than when I'd left it. (Izzy had vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior!) I happily paid him for his work. Over the next couple of weeks I brought the car back to EAS for electrical issues that, not unexpectedly, surfaced during its first few days back on the road. In each case, Izzy quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repairs, always delivering the vehicle on time or ahead of schedule. I was so impressed with Izzy's work that I brought a friend's older BMW to him to see if he could improve the cooling of the car's air-conditioning. In less than a day he diagnosed the problem and fixed the unit; this, after a German car "specialist" had for four years told the vehicle's owner that the unit was fine--that BMW air conditioning simply wasn't very good. I don't believe you'll encounter a more competent and professional, or friendlier, ready-with-a-smile auto-repair specialist than Izzy. I suspect he can fix anything on four wheels, but if you're driving a European car, or any high-end vehicle, I recommend you take it to EAS for your repair work. You won't be disappointed.

My VW had a leaking main seal which is a very expensive repair. Izzy was considerably less than the dealer, did a great job, and I am now a loyal customer. Highly recommend!

I could not be happier with my experience. The serpentine belt in my car almost ripped in parts and Izzy was be able to place a new belt in couple minutes. Very thorough and detailed in their work and easy to communicate with. Reasonable prices and honest service shop!
