I took my vehicle to this shop due to an emergency fuel tank leak. After the initial inspection, I was given a date for the replacement. Once the car was dropped, I received a cost estimate for labor and parts. Although the part seemed expensive compared to online prices, I needed the repair done quickly, so I agreed to the cost. A few days later, my wife picked up the car, and something seemed off. While the fuel tank appears to be fixed (knock on wood), there are new issues that weren't present when I dropped the car off. There's an odd rattling noise and vibration from the bottom of the car, along with increased cabin noise as if sound-dampening material was removed. Additionally, the rear brakes were taken off during the job, but the handbrake wasn’t calibrated properly, so it’s now useless. In the days following the repair, the engine has been starting roughly, with RPMs dropping and the engine stalling once. Today, the check engine light came on, and I'm concerned it could be related to improper fuel or debris in the system from the repair. To make matters worse, I've been calling the provided number and visiting the shop almost daily, but it's been closed every time. This has been my worst experience with a mechanic, and I’m hoping to get in touch with the shop to resolve these issues.
