I was in a jam towing a trailer thru Austin with a broken shock mount. Showed up unannounced with parts and Ed was out sick. After speaking with Dave (great guy), Ed came down to the shop, gave me a VERY low price and Dave had me back on the road in a couple hours with new shocks, mounts and a huge smile. Best experience. Thanks guys!

These guys are truly awesome they are very accommodating. Moving is stressful enough. But in this case I was helping someone else. Which made it even more stressful. They made the transportation issue stress-free. I left my car, which is a convertible, they're at their lot while I drove out of town to complete the move. They took good care of my vehicle and made sure that it was safe. That way I didn't have to worry about rides and all those things when I was finished. I could just jump in my car and go home. All the paperwork and everything was handled right there on the cell phone while I loaded up to leave for the trip. I've never had a rental go so smoothly. Thank you guys very much for the hard work that you do I would definitely recommend you to everyone.

This review is only for Ed’s response He was quick to answer the phone call And was polite. The only downside is that he said he was in the process of retiring. So just know if you call he may say he can’t help you and he will wish you luck.

Ed's great! One of the very few true, honest local mechanic's still in business. I have worked for him, and known him a long time yet still don't have a single negative thing to say about Ed or his work. Highly recommend. And if you need a U-haul, Angela is probably the best uhaul dealer around. I've never seen someone care as much about the customer as she does - she'll get it done with a smile.

Kind of hard to park but once you find a spot Angie will take real good care of you. she made sure we had plenty of time and plenty of mileage to do the move we needed to do!

Ed's Bluff Springs Auto: Waw! Fast, friendly and professional service. The break lights on my Pathfinder were stuck and thus failed inspection, without an appt, i stopped by Mr. Ed. He fixed the problem in a jiffy. Very inexpensive, i couldn't believe my eyes. I'll definately recommend everyone to his shop. Thanks Mr Ed

Been around the block with my '78 Silverado. Old tired truck that wasn't right until I took it to Ed. Place was busier than an ant hill, but Ed took the time to look under the hood and told me it might take a day before he could get it. Okay. Whatever. He called me back in 3 hours and told me to "fetch my truck." It was finished! A fuel filter and $35 later I said, "Yep." I recommend Ed's, but, remember, they're busy and what might sound like rudeness is people being real! busy.

I went in for an oil change at Ed's and had my tires rotated. The price was fair and the service quick. Ed said that the windshield wipers needed to be changed soon and I had been noticing that was an issue with the last rain. Again, the price of the wipers was fair (did not price gouge, like they do at the McAuto repair shops) and I was happy to get one more task off my plate (I've installed wipers in the rain!!). The waiting area was clean and comfortable and I was happy surfing the net on my phone. Check out was quick and friendly. I'll be back again.

Ed's Bluff Spring Auto is great for any type of service you need on your car. They are reliable and offer a great oil change for under $30. The service is quick and dependable. The mechanics are knowledgeable and won't tell you that you need a repair for something unless you really do. I would recommend Ed's to anyone.

My BMW was constantly in need of repair - until after I took it to Ed's Auto. Ed not only put in a new transmission, he tuned it up to perform like new. The service was fast and he explained the repairs in a way that I could understand. Before Ed's repairs, I thought that I needed a new car when all I really needed was a good mechanic! I would definitely recomend this shop to anyone looking for reliable and honest auto service.
