Greg is fantastic. I've taken my car in for many things since I've moved to Pittsburgh and he always knows what's wrong and fixes it quickly and cheaply. He's even tried for refuse payment for fixing headlights and other small things—you couldn't ask for a nicer guy or better mechanic.

First experience with this garage today and it was great. I needed an emergency repair and was having trouble finding a shop. Greg, son of the retired Ed, was so pleasant, fair, and informative. I’ll be using him ongoing for work on my Honda Civic!

He's definitely a gentleman! Ladies don't be afraid of being treated unfairly! I went there and asked how much would you charge to take this skid plate from underneath my vehicle. He said uh nothing!! I will do right fast! Such a blessing! I will definitely do business with him in the Future!!

I got a PA state inspection for my 1995 Lexus LS400 from Ed’s Auto Service. It was an excellent experience! The inspection was done in a couple hours and the owner was genuine and friendly. Will definitely come back.

Greg is great! It took a while to get an appointment - I have a feeling that everyone around uses this shop thanks to the excellent service and fair pricing. He was able to get my old Chrysler back on the road and I'll be certain to return in the future for regular maintenance. Bonus: He loves dogs and keeps treats on hand for folks who bring their pups in.

Another auto repair shop in town told me that I needed new brakes for my car. A friend recommended this business and it also is conveniently located for me so I brought my car to Ed’s to get new brakes. He looked at my car and was kind enough to tell me that my brakes were fine and explained to me how to know if you need your brake pads replaced. I appreciated his honesty and taking the time to explain it to me considering I don’t know much about cars. On another occasion he fit me in for a tire rotation despite being very busy. I will definitely go back for future inspections and repairs!

I had a bit of an emergency today (10/4/22)... I was on my normal trip to Akron, OH when, after lunch, I found my exhaust pipe had dropped off my car... After "band-aiding" the issue, my mechanic then proceeded to, without an appointment and just before closing time, get my car drivable again and get me on the way. These guys literally saved my day. I'm a composer/conductor for a community handbell ensemble in Ohio and these guys got me driving again. 10/10. I would recommend this customer service and speed to anybody. THANK YOU Ed's Auto Repair!!! There are some good people in Pittsburgh.

I rarely rate mechanics but I don't want this business to go unnoticed as I have received exceptional service of Greg. He was honest and knowledgeable. I did my annual inspection here with oil change and spark plug replacement. The price is fair too. Highly recommend!

I repaired my car twice at Ed's. He was conscientious and went the extra mile to help. He put in a lot or research to find the cheapest used part, called me multiple times to make sure I was happy with what he found and how much it cost. He is old school: honest, reasonable, and direct.

My check engine light came on and these were the only folks I called who would run the diagnostic test without charging me. Extremely quality people and service and will be returning here with any issues that come up with my car in the future.

The only reason I found my way to Ed's Garage is that my car's battery wasn't charging and Ed's was the closest repair shop to my house. I have to say I got lucky. He fixed the problem at a fair price and in short period of time.

Until the pandemic, I was very happy with this mechanic. At the height of COVID before vaccines were available, despite informing him that I was at-risk, he refused to wear a mask, would not allow me to pay over the phone (I would have had to be face to face with him in a very tiny office), and grudgingly "allowed" me to pay with a check, but gave me no options to even leave that for him from a distance. As far as I know, he didn't bother to sanitize my car either.

Horrible attitude when he answered the phone. Literally asked a few questions to see what he thought about my car issues and he did not want to look at it. Very unprofessional

Radiator broke on 376. Ed had it fixed in a day and charged a fair price. Very nice guy!
