Had my car at Anderson auto for a week and nothing was getting done, would leave voicemails without any context so I was never updated. Finally a week later they gave me a quote why higher than I knew it should cost. Called EC and they communicated way more professionally, we agreed on the issue and procedure, and they fixed my cylinder misfire issue in less than 24 hours for 90$ less. Also super friendly and honest. Strongly recommend.

I first visited EC Quality Control in 2016-2017 when I was a student at UTSA. Mr. Canales assisted me, and since then, I’ve remained a loyal customer. I’ve continued bringing my family’s vehicles for various issues, including oil leaks, window motor repairs, and steering problems. The team is honest, and Ramon’s genuine and polite dedication to diagnosing problems and providing clear, straightforward solutions is truly commendable. They’ve always stood by their work, which I greatly respect. I highly recommend EC Quality Control!

One of the B E S T mechanic shops in San Antonio! My 2015 Nissan Sentra had been having some slight issues starting in 2023 and I tried taking it to the Nissan dealership- they instantly tried to scam me into trading my car and told me I needed a new transmission and my whole car was “basically” going out. Being only 23yrs old, I might be young but I was definitely not naive to immediately believe them. A friend of mine recommended that I take my car to EC Quality Car care because they helped with their car before and said they were amazing. The BEST decision I’ve ever made. They ran diagnostics and said that my car had so much life and the problem was not even the transmission. That was the start of trusting EC QUALITY Car care. Just recently, my AC started going out, and in this TX heat it’s no joke when having no AC in a car. They’ve helped with my motor blower making weird humming noises, and also help completely repair my AC that started to fail cooling. Times are tough, and financially it’s hard to keep up the maintenance of an older car. A nice older gentleman, Ray, understood this. They’ve have helped me multiple times already and they understood times are hard and they didn’t want me to be struggling in this intense heat. They’ve come to me with a discount, that helped tremendously, to hopefully encourage me to get my AC fix whenever I was capable to do so. My car is now running amazing and just as new! They were even sweet enough to give the exterior of my car a quick wash (which it desperately needed!). They truly not only care about your car, but also YOU, the customer! Will definitely recommend friends to come here when they need work done on their cars too!!

I came here once and asked if they could see my car today, they said "okay" I gave them my keys asked what the time frame looked liked they said " I don't know ", I asked " a couple of hours? Days ? Weeks ? " the man got red and grunted "I DONT KNOW". Being young and naive I left and got some lunch near by, after 3 hours I went back and asked how it looked. He threw my keys back at me and said" we drilled some holes in your engine" and they charged me 40$. I never went back ,but found a great respect for other mechanics who know how to communicate.

Broke down on 1604 when my alternator went out,,got it towed to EC QUALITY CAR CARE and they got me in and got everything fixed in 2 1/2 hours,,great people and very professional,,highly recommend them for your car needs

Called ahead to make sure how much would it be for a full/ cross the board diagnose and they told me $60 and they tried charging me $160 but they ended up charging me $50 then said “oh well we still have to charge you” even though they couldn’t find what’s wrong with it.

Fantastic service by the entire EC Car Care team! I’ve had an odd problem with my car that it seemed like no dealership could recognize and the EC team were able to help diagnose the issue and find the parts needed to replace. They were very quick and communicative through the process, overall a great and trustworthy mechanic!

Good experience. Ray was communicative and polite. We're able to diagnose and repair vehicle as promised. Prices are fair. They are busy. Could take 1-2 days to get you on their schedule. Rightfully so, as they are a good auto repair shop. I will be returning for future auto repair.

Hands down, best experience I have had dealing with an automotive repair shop! My son's car was having front end suspension problems making it really unsafe to drive. Even though they were getting ready to close up, they cared enough to stick around and check it out for me. They even gave me a ride home when I decided to leave the car for repairs. I don't even get that kind of customer service when taking my cadillac to the dealership! With that being said I will be taking my cars here from now on. Really like this place and the people that work there!

I always get intimidated going into auto shops, but Mr. Canales was very welcoming! They were able to help me with my initial problem and even diagnosed something else wrong with my car that I would have never known about. 100% would recommend!!

I recommend this shop. I am from out of town, and my car broke down and was about to be towed. They had my car towed to the shop and fixed. Did extra things to ensure it was safe to make the trip back up north, Texarkana. Nice people here.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Crooks, kept my car for TWO MONTHS and charged almost 3k to fix a a taillight AND THEN they broke my electric window and REFUSED to fix it . Window was perfect before they got it, broke the day after I took it home, and they even refuse to talk about it. Terrible place, dishonest employees. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

Great customer care. They were quick and thorough. I was able to get an appointment in the same day. They explained everything to me very thoroughly what needed to be fixed. They went above and beyond in offering me a ride home while my car was getting fixed so I did not have to get an Uber. They called me to give me updates on my car as well. Very nice people!

I need to apologize, I just saw this post (below) that I wrote about a week ago. The place/location (EC Quality Car Care) is NOT the place that I was reviewing. I have never been to EC, never heard of the place and I retract my accidental bashing. For my mistakeI am changing the one star to five. I fell the need to explain, to reiterate, that I don't know this place and my stars are based merlly on my feeling of guilt and my desire to pay restitution to EC for my blunder . I'm sorry EC Quality Car Care. *The following (originally posted) review was meant for a car wash. A very dirty, nasty car wash. I can't say anything about the car wash aspect of the place, I wouldn't even rinse my truck off in such a dirt place.

I would give 10 stars if I could! My daughter (college student at UTSA) needed car repair after an accident, and EC Quality Care made me feel confident that they would take care of it which was a HUGE relief, as we, her parents live several hours away. Our insurance company was extremely difficult to work with on this issue, but Ray & the others at ECQC were very patient and always did whatever was asked of them by the adjusters. Their communication was A+ and they were a voice of reason at a time when things were extremely frustrating. Do not hesitate to use them for your car care needs! They are honest and trustworthy at a time when these qualities are hard to find. Once we got to the actual repair, Ray went above & beyond to expedite the parts and service so that she could have the car back quickly. THANK YOU EC Quality Care!!
